Psalms 149

1 Alleluya. Synge ye to the Lord a newe song; hise heriyng be in the chirche of seyntis.

Louvado seja Yahweh! Cante para Yahweh uma nova canção, seu louvor na assembléia dos santos.

2 Israel be glad in hym that made hym; and the douytris of Syon make ful out ioye in her king.

Que Israel se regozije com quem os fez. Que as crianças de Sião sejam alegres em seu Rei.

3 Herie thei his name in a queer; seie thei salm to hym in a tympan, and sautre.

Let eles elogiam seu nome na dança! Que lhe cantem louvores com pandeiro e harpa!

4 For the Lord is wel plesid in his puple; and he hath reisid mylde men in to heelthe.

Pois Yahweh tem prazer em seu povo. Ele coroa os humildes com a salvação.

5 Seyntis schulen make ful out ioye in glorie; thei schulen be glad in her beddis.

Let os santos se regozijam em honra. Deixe-os cantar de alegria em suas camas.

6 The ful out ioiyngis of God in the throte of hem; and swerdis scharp on `ech side in the hondis of hem.

May os altos elogios de Deus estejam em suas bocas, e uma espada de dois gumes na mão,

7 To do veniaunce in naciouns; blamyngis in puplis.

para executar a vingança sobre as nações, e punições sobre os povos;

8 To bynde the kyngis of hem in stockis; and the noble men of hem in yrun manaclis.

para amarrar seus reis com correntes, e seus nobres com grilhões de ferro;

9 That thei make in hem doom writun; this is glorye to alle hise seyntis.
