Psalms 149

1 Alleluya. Synge ye to the Lord a newe song; hise heriyng be in the chirche of seyntis.

Aleluia! Cantai ao SENHOR um cântico novo; [haja] louvor a ele na congregação dos santos.

2 Israel be glad in hym that made hym; and the douytris of Syon make ful out ioye in her king.

Alegre-se Israel em seu Criador; os filhos de Sião se encham de alegria em seu Rei.

3 Herie thei his name in a queer; seie thei salm to hym in a tympan, and sautre.

Louvem seu nome com danças; cantai louvores a ele com tamborim e harpa.

4 For the Lord is wel plesid in his puple; and he hath reisid mylde men in to heelthe.

Porque o SENHOR se agrada de seu povo; ele ornará os mansos com salvação.

5 Seyntis schulen make ful out ioye in glorie; thei schulen be glad in her beddis.

Saltem de prazer [seus] santos pela glória; fiquem contentes sobre suas camas.

6 The ful out ioiyngis of God in the throte of hem; and swerdis scharp on `ech side in the hondis of hem.

Exaltações a Deus [estarão] em suas gargantas; e espada afiada [estará] em sua mão,

7 To do veniaunce in naciouns; blamyngis in puplis.

Para se vingarem das nações, e repreenderem aos povos.

8 To bynde the kyngis of hem in stockis; and the noble men of hem in yrun manaclis.

Para prenderem a seus reis com correntes, e seus nobres com grilhões de ferro;

9 That thei make in hem doom writun; this is glorye to alle hise seyntis.

Para executarem sobre eles a sentença escrita; esta [será] a glória de todos os seus santos. Aleluia!
