Psalms 149

1 Alleluya. Synge ye to the Lord a newe song; hise heriyng be in the chirche of seyntis.

Lwanj pou Seyè a! Chante yon chante tou nèf pou Seyè a! Fè lwanj li nan mitan tout moun k'ap sèvi l' yo lè yo reyini!

2 Israel be glad in hym that made hym; and the douytris of Syon make ful out ioye in her king.

Se pou pèp Izrayèl la fè kè l' kontan, paske se li menm ki fè yo. Se pou tout pèp Siyon an fè fèt, paske se li menm ki wa yo.

3 Herie thei his name in a queer; seie thei salm to hym in a tympan, and sautre.

Se pou nou danse pou fè lwanj li! Se pou nou bat tanbou, se pou nou jwe gita pou li!

4 For the Lord is wel plesid in his puple; and he hath reisid mylde men in to heelthe.

Seyè a pran plezi l' nan pèp li a, li fè bèl bagay pou malere yo, li delivre yo.

5 Seyntis schulen make ful out ioye in glorie; thei schulen be glad in her beddis.

Se pou pèp Bondye a fè kè yo kontan, paske yo genyen batay la.

6 The ful out ioiyngis of God in the throte of hem; and swerdis scharp on `ech side in the hondis of hem.

Se pou yo rele byen fò lè y'ap fè lwanj Bondye, avèk nepe nan men yo,

7 To do veniaunce in naciouns; blamyngis in puplis.

pou tire revanj sou nasyon yo, pou pini pèp yo,

8 To bynde the kyngis of hem in stockis; and the noble men of hem in yrun manaclis.

pou yo mete wa yo nan chenn, pou mete grannèg yo nan sèp an fè,

9 That thei make in hem doom writun; this is glorye to alle hise seyntis.

pou ba yo chatiman ki te ekri a. Se va yon bèl bagay pou tout moun k'ap sèvi Bondye. Lwanj pou Seyè a!
