Psalms 148
1 Alleluya. Ye of heuenes, herie the Lord; herie ye hym in hiye thingis.
Alabád a Jehová desde los cielos: alabádle en las alturas.
2 Alle hise aungels, herie ye hym; alle hise vertues, herye ye hym.
Alabádle todos sus ángeles: alabádle todos sus ejércitos.
3 Sunne and moone, herie ye hym; alle sterris and liyt, herie ye hym.
Alabádle el sol y la luna: alabádle todas las estrellas de luz.
4 Heuenes of heuenes, herie ye hym; and the watris that ben aboue heuenes,
Alabádle los cielos de los cielos; y las aguas que están sobre los cielos.
5 herie ye the name of the Lord.
Alaben el nombre de Jehová; porque él mandó, y fueron creadas.
6 For he seide, and thingis weren maad; he comaundide, and thingis weren maad of nouyt. He ordeynede tho thingis in to the world, and in to the world of world; he settide a comaundement, and it schal not passe.
Y las hizo ser para siempre, por el siglo: púso les ley que no será quebrantada.
7 Ye of erthe, herie ye the Lord; dragouns, and alle depthis of watris.
Alabád a Jehová, de la tierra, los dragones y todos los abismos.
8 Fier, hail, snow, iys, spiritis of tempestis; that don his word.
El fuego, y el granizo; la nieve y el vapor: el viento de tempestad que hace su palabra:
9 Mounteyns, and alle litle hillis; trees berynge fruyt, and alle cedris.
Los montes, y todos los collados: el árbol de fruto, y todos los cedros:
10 Wielde beestis, and alle tame beestis; serpentis, and fetherid briddis.
La bestia, y todo animal: lo que va arrastrando, y el ave de alas.
11 The kingis of erthe, and alle puplis; the princis, and alle iugis of erthe.
Los reyes de la tierra, y todos los pueblos: los príncipes, y todos los jueces de la tierra.
12 Yonge men, and virgyns, elde men with yongere, herie ye the name of the Lord;
Los mancebos, y también las doncellas: los viejos con los mozos.
13 for the name of hym aloone is enhaunsid.
Alaben el nombre de Jehová; porque su nombre de él solo es ensalzado: su gloria es sobre tierra y cielos.
14 His knouleching be on heuene and erthe; and he hath enhaunsid the horn of his puple. An ympne be to alle hise seyntis; to the children of Israel, to a puple neiyynge to hym.
El ensalzó el cuerno de su pueblo: aláben le todos sus misericordiosos: los hijos de Israel, el pueblo a él cercano. Alelu- Jah.
