Psalms 147
1 Alleluya. Herie ye the Lord, for the salm is good; heriyng be myrie, and fair to oure God.
याहवेह का स्तवन करो. शोभनीय है हमारे परमेश्वर का गुणगान करना, क्योंकि यह सुखद है और स्तवन गान एक धर्ममय कार्य है!
2 The Lord schal bilde Jerusalem; and schal gadere togidere the scateryngis of Israel.
येरूशलेम के निर्माता याहवेह हैं; वह इस्राएल में से ठुकराए हुओं को एकत्र करते हैं.
3 Which Lord makith hool men contrit in herte; and byndith togidere the sorewes of hem.
जिनके हृदय भग्न हैं, वह उन्हें चंगा करते हैं, वह उनके घावों पर पट्टी बांधते हैं.
4 Which noumbrith the multitude of sterris; and clepith names to alle tho.
उन्होंने ही तारों की संख्या निर्धारित की है; उन्होंने ही हर एक को नाम दिया है.
5 Oure Lord is greet, and his vertu is greet; and of his wisdom is no noumbre.
पराक्रमी हैं हमारे प्रभु और अपार है उनका सामर्थ्य; बड़ी है उनकी समझ.
6 The Lord takith vp mylde men; forsothe he makith low synneris `til to the erthe.
याहवेह विनम्रों को ऊंचा उठाते तथा दुर्जनों को धूल में मिला देते हैं.
7 Bifore synge ye to the Lord in knoulechyng; seye ye salm to oure God in an harpe.
धन्यवाद के साथ याहवेह का स्तवन गान करो; किन्नोर की संगत पर परमेश्वर की वंदना करो.
8 Which hilith heuene with cloudis; and makith redi reyn to the erthe. Which bryngith forth hei in hillis; and eerbe to the seruice of men.
वही आकाश को बादलों से ढांक देते हैं; वह पृथ्वी के लिए वर्षा की तैयारी करते और पहाड़ियों पर घास उपजाते हैं.
9 Which yyueth mete to her werk beestis; and to the briddys of crowis clepinge hym.
वही पशुओं के लिए आहार नियोजन तथा चिल्लाते हुए कौवे के बच्चों के लिए भोजन का प्रबंध करते हैं.
10 He schal not haue wille in the strengthe of an hors; nether it schal be wel plesaunt to hym in the leggis of a man.
घोड़े के बल में उन्हें कोई रुचि नहीं है, और न ही किसी मनुष्य के शक्तिशाली पैरों में.
11 It is wel plesaunt to the Lord on men that dreden hym; and in hem that hopen on his mercy.
याहवेह को प्रसन्न करते हैं वे, जिनमें उनके प्रति श्रद्धा है, जिन्होंने उनके करुणा-प्रेम को अपनी आशा का आधार बनाया है.
12 Jerusalem, herie thou the Lord; Syon, herie thou thi God.
येरूशलेम, याहवेह की महिमा करो; ज़ियोन, अपने परमेश्वर की वंदना करो.
13 For he hath coumfortid the lockis of thi yatis; he hath blessid thi sones in thee.
क्योंकि याहवेह ने तुम्हारे द्वार के खंभों को सुदृढ़ बना दिया है; उन्होंने नगर के भीतर तुम्हारी संतान पर कृपादृष्टि की है.
14 Which hath set thi coostis pees; and fillith thee with the fatnesse of wheete.
तुम्हारी सीमाओं के भीतर वह शांति की स्थापना करते तथा तुमको सर्वोत्तम गेहूं से तृप्त करते हैं.
15 Which sendith out his speche to the erthe; his word renneth swiftli.
वह अपना आदेश पृथ्वी के लिए भेजा करते हैं; और उनका वचन अति गति से प्रसारित होता है.
16 Which yyueth snow as wolle; spredith abrood a cloude as aische.
वह हिमवृष्टि करते हैं, जो ऊन समान दिखता है; जब पाला पड़ता है, वह बिखरे हुए भस्म समान लगता है.
17 He sendith his cristal as mussels; who schal suffre bifore the face of his cooldnesse?
जब वह ओले के छोटे-छोटे टुकड़े से वृष्टि करते हैं, तो किसमें उस शीत को सहने की क्षमता है?
18 He schal sende out his word, and schal melte tho; his spirit schal blowe, and watris schulen flowe.
वह अपना आदेश भेजकर उसे पिघला देते हैं; वह हवा और जल में प्रवाह उत्पन्न करते हैं.
19 Which tellith his word to Jacob; and hise riytfulnessis and domes to Israel.
उन्होंने याकोब के लिए अपना संदेश तथा इस्राएल के लिए अपने अधिनियम तथा व्यवस्था स्पष्ट कर दिए.
20 He dide not so to ech nacioun; and he schewide not hise domes to hem.
ऐसा उन्होंने किसी भी अन्य राष्ट्र के लिए नहीं किया; वे उनकी व्यवस्था से अनजान हैं. याहवेह का स्तवन हो.
