Psalms 144

1 `A salm. Blessid be my Lord God, that techith myn hondis to werre; and my fyngris to batel.

ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. എന്റെ പാറയാകുന്ന യഹോവ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവൻ, അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ കരങ്ങളെ യുദ്ധത്തിനായും എന്റെ വിരലുകളെ പോരാട്ടത്തിനായും ഒരുക്കുന്നു.

2 Mi merci, and my refuyt; my takere vp, and my delyuerer. Mi defender, and Y hopide in him; and thou makist suget my puple vnder me.

അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന ദൈവവും എന്റെ കോട്ടയും, എന്റെ സുരക്ഷിതസ്ഥാനവും എന്റെ വിമോചകനും, ജനതകളെ എന്റെമുമ്പിൽ അടിയറവുപറയിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ പരിചയും എന്റെ അഭയസ്ഥാനവും ആകുന്നു.

3 Lord, what is a man, for thou hast maad knowun to him; ether the sone of man, for thou arettist him of sum valu?

യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ ശ്രദ്ധയിൽപ്പെടാൻമാത്രം മർത്യൻ എന്തുള്ളൂ? അങ്ങയുടെ പരിഗണനയിൽ വരുന്നതിന് കേവലം മാനവർക്ക് എന്താണർഹത?

4 A man is maad lijk vanyte; hise daies passen as schadow.

മനുഷ്യർ ഒരു ശ്വാസംമാത്രം; അവരുടെ ദിനങ്ങൾ ക്ഷണികമായ നിഴൽപോലെ.

5 Lord, bowe doun thin heuenes, and come thou doun; touche thou hillis, and thei schulen make smoke.

യഹോവേ, സ്വർഗം തുറന്ന് ഇറങ്ങിവരണമേ; പർവതങ്ങൾ സ്പർശിക്കണമേ, അവിടെനിന്നും പുകപടലങ്ങൾ ഉയരട്ടെ.

6 Leite thou schynyng, and thou schalt scatere hem; sende thou out thin arowis, and thou schalt disturble hem.

മിന്നൽ അയച്ച് ശത്രുഗണത്തെ ചിതറിക്കണമേ; അങ്ങയുടെ അസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ എയ്ത് അവരെ തുരത്തണമേ.

7 Sende out thin hond fro an hiy, rauysche thou me out, and delyuere thou me fro many watris; and fro the hond of alien sones.

ഉയരത്തിൽനിന്നും തൃക്കരം നീട്ടി; പെരുവെള്ളത്തിൽനിന്നും വിദേശികളുടെ കൈയിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കണമേ,

8 The mouth of which spak vanite; and the riythond of hem is the riyt hond of wickidnesse.

അവരുടെ വായിൽ വ്യാജം നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു, അവരുടെ വലതുകരങ്ങളിൽ വഞ്ചന വാഴുന്നു.

9 God, Y schal synge to thee a new song; I schal seie salm to thee in a sautre of ten stringis.

എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, അങ്ങേക്കു ഞാൻ ഒരു നവഗാനം ആലപിക്കും; പത്തുകമ്പിയുള്ള വീണ മീട്ടി അങ്ങേക്കു ഞാനൊരു സംഗീതമാലപിക്കും,

10 Which yyuest heelthe to kingis; which ayen bouytist Dauid, thi seruaunt, fro the wickid swerd rauische thou out me.

രാജാക്കന്മാർക്ക് വിജയം നൽകുകയും അവിടത്തെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനെ രക്ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന അങ്ങേക്കുതന്നെ. നാശകരമായ വാളിൽനിന്നും

11 And delyuere thou me fro `the hond of alien sones; the mouth of whiche spak vanyte, and the riythond of hem is the riyt hond of wickidnesse.

എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കണമേ; വിദേശികളുടെ കൈയിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ മോചിപ്പിക്കണമേ, അവരുടെ വായിൽ വ്യാജം നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു, അവരുടെ വലതുകരങ്ങളിൽ വഞ്ചന വാഴുന്നു.

12 Whose sones ben; as new plauntingis in her yongthe. The douytris of hem ben arayed; ourned about as the licnesse of the temple.

നമ്മുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ അവരുടെ യൗവനത്തിൽ നന്നായി പരിചരിച്ച വൃക്ഷങ്ങൾപോലെയും, നമ്മുടെ പുത്രിമാർ രാജകൊട്ടാരങ്ങളിലെ കൊത്തിയെടുത്ത അലംകൃത സ്തംഭങ്ങൾപോലെയും ആകും.

13 The selers of hem ben fulle; bringinge out fro this vessel in to that. The scheep of hem ben with lambre, plenteuouse in her goingis out;

നമ്മുടെ കളപ്പുരകൾ സമൃദ്ധമാകും; എല്ലാവിധ ധാന്യങ്ങളാലുംതന്നെ. ഞങ്ങളുടെ ആടുകൾ പുൽപ്പുറങ്ങളിൽ പെറ്റുപെരുകം, ആയിരങ്ങളായും പതിനായിരങ്ങളായും;

14 her kien ben fatte. `No falling of wal is, nether passing ouere; nether cry is in the stretis of hem.

നമ്മുടെ കാളക്കൂറ്റന്മാർ അധികഭാരം വലിക്കും. മതിലുകൾ ഇടിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല, ആരും ബന്ദികളാക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ല, ഞങ്ങളുടെ തെരുവുകളിൽ ദീനരോദനവുമില്ല.

15 Thei seiden, `The puple is blessid, that hath these thingis; blessid is the puple, whos Lord is the God of it.

ഇവയെല്ലാം യാഥാർഥ്യമായിരിക്കുന്ന ജനം അനുഗൃഹീതർ; യഹോവ ദൈവമായിരിക്കുന്ന ജനം അനുഗൃഹീതർ.
