Psalms 143
1 The salm of Dauid. Lord, here thou my preier, with eeris perseyue thou my biseching; in thi treuthe here thou me, in thi riytwisnesse.
Un Salmo de David. Señor, escucha por favor mi oración. Por tu fidelidad, escucha mi petición de súplica. Respóndeme porque tú eres justo.
2 And entre thou not in to dom with thi seruaunt; for ech man lyuynge schal not be maad iust in thi siyt.
Por favor, no pongas a tu siervo bajo juicio porque nadie queda inocente ante tu vista.
3 For the enemy pursuede my soule; he made lowe my lijf in erthe. He hath set me in derk placis, as the deed men of the world,
El enemigo me ha perseguido y me ha tirado al suelo. Me hace vivir en oscuridad como los que murieron ya hace mucho tiempo.
4 and my spirit was angwischid on me; myn herte was disturblid in me.
Me siento desvanecer por dentro. Me siento sobrecogido por la desolación.
5 I was myndeful of elde daies, Y bithouyte in alle thi werkis; Y bithouyte in the dedis of thin hondis.
Recuerdo los días de antaño, y al meditar en lo que has hecho, pienso en lo que has logrado en el pasado.
6 I helde forth myn hondis to thee; my soule as erthe with out water to thee.
Levanto mis manos hacia ti, sediento de ti como la tierra seca. (Selah)
7 Lord, here thou me swiftli; my spirit failide. Turne thou not a wei thi face fro me; and Y schal be lijk to hem that gon doun in to the lake.
¡Por favor, respóndeme pronto Señor, porque muero! No te apartes de mi, porque entonces iré también a la tumba.
8 Make thou erli thi merci herd to me; for Y hopide in thee. Make thou knowun to me the weie in which Y schal go; for Y reiside my soule to thee.
Háblame cada mañana de tu amor y fidelidad, porque en ti he puesto mi confianza. Muéstrame el camino que debo seguir porque a ti me he dedicado.
9 Delyuere thou me fro myn enemyes, Lord, Y fledde to thee;
Sálvame de los que me odian, Señor. Corro hacia ti buscando tu protección.
10 teche thou me to do thi wille, for thou art my God. Thi good spirit schal lede me forth in to a riytful lond;
Enséñame tu voluntad porque tú eres mi Dios. Que tu espíritu de bondad me guíe y allane mi camino.
11 Lord, for thi name thou schalt quikene me in thin equite. Thou schalt lede my soule out of tribulacioun;
Por la bondad que hay en tu nombre, déjame seguir viviendo. Porque eres justo siempre, sácame de esta angustia.
12 and in thi merci thou schalt scatere alle myn enemyes. And thou schalt leese alle them, that troublen my soule; for Y am thi seruaunt.
En tu amor fiel, acaba con los que me odian, destruye a todos mis enemigos, porque soy tu siervo.
