Psalms 143
1 The salm of Dauid. Lord, here thou my preier, with eeris perseyue thou my biseching; in thi treuthe here thou me, in thi riytwisnesse.
Mazmur Daud. Ya TUHAN, dengarkanlah doaku, berilah telinga kepada permohonanku! Jawablah aku dalam kesetiaan-Mu, demi keadilan-Mu!
2 And entre thou not in to dom with thi seruaunt; for ech man lyuynge schal not be maad iust in thi siyt.
Janganlah beperkara dengan hamba-Mu ini, sebab di antara yang hidup tidak seorangpun yang benar di hadapan-Mu.
3 For the enemy pursuede my soule; he made lowe my lijf in erthe. He hath set me in derk placis, as the deed men of the world,
Sebab musuh telah mengejar aku dan mencampakkan nyawaku ke tanah, menempatkan aku di dalam gelap seperti orang yang sudah lama mati.
4 and my spirit was angwischid on me; myn herte was disturblid in me.
Semangatku lemah lesu dalam diriku, hatiku tertegun dalam tubuhku.
5 I was myndeful of elde daies, Y bithouyte in alle thi werkis; Y bithouyte in the dedis of thin hondis.
Aku teringat kepada hari-hari dahulu kala, aku merenungkan segala pekerjaan-Mu, aku memikirkan perbuatan tangan-Mu.
6 I helde forth myn hondis to thee; my soule as erthe with out water to thee.
Aku menadahkan tanganku kepada-Mu, jiwaku haus kepada-Mu seperti tanah yang tandus. (Sela)
7 Lord, here thou me swiftli; my spirit failide. Turne thou not a wei thi face fro me; and Y schal be lijk to hem that gon doun in to the lake.
Jawablah aku dengan segera, ya TUHAN, sudah habis semangatku! Jangan sembunyikan wajah-Mu terhadap aku, sehingga aku seperti mereka yang turun ke liang kubur.
8 Make thou erli thi merci herd to me; for Y hopide in thee. Make thou knowun to me the weie in which Y schal go; for Y reiside my soule to thee.
Perdengarkanlah kasih setia-Mu kepadaku pada waktu pagi, sebab kepada-Mulah aku percaya! Beritahukanlah aku jalan yang harus kutempuh, sebab kepada-Mulah kuangkat jiwaku.
9 Delyuere thou me fro myn enemyes, Lord, Y fledde to thee;
Lepaskanlah aku dari pada musuh-musuhku, ya TUHAN, pada-Mulah aku berteduh!
10 teche thou me to do thi wille, for thou art my God. Thi good spirit schal lede me forth in to a riytful lond;
Ajarlah aku melakukan kehendak-Mu, sebab Engkaulah Allahku! Kiranya Roh-Mu yang baik itu menuntun aku di tanah yang rata!
11 Lord, for thi name thou schalt quikene me in thin equite. Thou schalt lede my soule out of tribulacioun;
Hidupkanlah aku oleh karena nama-Mu, ya TUHAN, keluarkanlah jiwaku dari dalam kesesakan demi keadilan-Mu!
12 and in thi merci thou schalt scatere alle myn enemyes. And thou schalt leese alle them, that troublen my soule; for Y am thi seruaunt.
Binasakanlah musuh-musuhku demi kasih setia-Mu, dan lenyapkanlah semua orang yang mendesak aku, sebab aku ini hamba-Mu!
