Psalms 139
1 `To victorie, the salm of Dauith. Lord, thou hast preued me, and hast knowe me;
Salmo de Davi, para o regente: SENHOR, tu me examinas e me conheces.
2 thou hast knowe my sitting, and my rising ayen.
Tu sabes o meu sentar e o meu caminhar; de longe entendes meus pensamentos.
3 Thou hast vndirstonde my thouytis fro fer; thou hast enquerid my path and my corde.
Tu cercas o meu andar e meu deitar; conheces desde antes os meus caminhos.
4 And thou hast bifor seien alle my weies; for no word is in my tunge.
Mesmo não havendo [ainda] palavra [alguma] em minha língua, eis, SENHOR, que já sabes tudo.
5 Lo! Lord, thou hast knowe alle thingis, the laste thingis and elde; thou hast formed me, and hast set thin hond on me.
Tu me envolves por detrás e pela frente, e pões tua mão sobre mim.
6 Thi kunnyng is maad wondirful of me; it is coumfortid, and Y schal not mowe to it.
[Teu] conhecimento é maravilhoso demais para mim, tão alto que não posso [alcançá] -lo.
7 Whidir schal Y go fro thi spirit; and whider schal Y fle fro thi face?
Para onde eu escaparia de teu Espírito? E para onde fugiria de tua presença?
8 If Y schal stie in to heuene, thou art there; if Y schal go doun to helle, thou art present. (Sheol h7585)
Se eu subisse até os céus, lá tu [estás]; se eu fizer meu leito no Xeol, eis que tu [também ali estás]. (Sheol h7585)
9 If Y schal take my fetheris ful eerli; and schal dwelle in the last partis of the see.
Se eu tomasse as asas do amanhecer, e morasse nas extremidades do mar,
10 And sotheli thider thin hond schal leede me forth; and thi riyt hond schal holde me.
Até ali tua mão me guiaria, e tua mão direita me seguraria.
11 And Y seide, In hap derknessis schulen defoule me; and the nyyt is my liytnyng in my delicis.
Se eu dissesse: Certamente as trevas me encobrirão; e a luz ao redor de mim [será como] a noite.
12 For whi derknessis schulen not be maad derk fro thee, aud the niyt schal be liytned as the dai; as the derknessis therof, so and the liyt therof.
Porém nem mesmo as trevas [me] esconderão de ti; ao invés disso, [pois] a noite é tão clara quanto o dia, [e aos teus olhos] as trevas são como a luz.
13 For thou haddist in possessioun my reines; thou tokist me vp fro the wombe of my modir.
Porque tu és dono do meu ser, e me cobriste no ventre da minha mãe.
14 I schal knouleche to thee, for thou art magnefied dreedfuli; thi werkis ben wondirful, and my soule schal knouleche ful miche.
Eu te louvarei porque de um [jeito] assombroso e maravilhoso eu fui feito; maravilhosas [são] tuas obras; e minha alma sabe muito bem.
15 Mi boon, which thou madist in priuete, is not hyd fro thee; and my substaunce in the lower partis of erthe.
Meus ossos não estavam escondidos de ti quando eu fui feito em oculto, e formado como tramas de tecido nas profundezas da terra.
16 Thin iyen sien myn vnperfit thing, and alle men schulen be writun in thi book; daies schulen be formed, and no man is in tho.
Teus olhos viram meu corpo [ainda] sem forma, e tudo estava escrito em teu livro; [até] os dias estavam determinados quando nenhum deles [ainda] havia.
17 Forsothe, God, thi frendis ben maad onourable ful myche to me; the princeheed of hem is coumfortid ful myche.
Como são preciosos para mim os teus pensamentos, Deus! Como é grande a quantidade deles!
18 I schal noumbre hem, and thei schulen be multiplied aboue grauel; Y roos vp, and yit Y am with thee.
Se eu os contasse, seriam muito mais [numerosos] que a areia; [quando] acordo, ainda estou contigo.
19 For thou, God, schalt slee synneris; ye menquelleris, bowe awei fro me.
Ah, Deus, tomara que mates ao perverso! E vós, homens sanguinários, afastai-vos de mim;
20 For ye seien in thouyt; Take thei her citees in vanite.
Porque eles falam de ti com maldade, [e] teus inimigos [se] exaltam em vão.
21 Lord, whether Y hatide not hem that hatiden thee; and Y failide on thin enemyes?
Por acaso, SENHOR, eu não odiaria aos que te odeiam? E não detestaria os que se levantam contra ti?
22 Bi perfite haterede Y hatide hem; thei weren maad enemyes to me.
Eu os odeio com ódio completo; eu os considero como inimigos.
23 God, preue thou me, and knowe thou myn herte; axe thou me, and knowe thou my pathis.
Examina-me, Deus, e conhece meu coração; prova-me, e conhece meus pensamentos.
24 And se thou, if weie of wickidnesse is in me; and lede thou me forth in euerlastinge wei.
E vê se em mim [há algum] mau caminho; e guia-me pelo caminho eterno.
