Psalms 139
1 `To victorie, the salm of Dauith. Lord, thou hast preued me, and hast knowe me;
Dura buʼaa faarfattootaatiif. Faarfannaa Daawit. Yaa Waaqayyo, ati na qorteerta; na beekteertas.
2 thou hast knowe my sitting, and my rising ayen.
Ati yeroo ani gad taaʼuu fi yeroo ani ol kaʼu ni beekta; yaada koos fagootti hubatta.
3 Thou hast vndirstonde my thouytis fro fer; thou hast enquerid my path and my corde.
Deemuu koo fi ciisuu koo addaan baaftee beekta; karaa koo hundas beekta.
4 And thou hast bifor seien alle my weies; for no word is in my tunge.
Yaa Waaqayyo, akka dubbiin tokko iyyuu arraba koo hin jirre, ati guutumaan guutuutti ni beekta.
5 Lo! Lord, thou hast knowe alle thingis, the laste thingis and elde; thou hast formed me, and hast set thin hond on me.
Ati duraa fi duubaan na marsiteerta; harka kees narra keesseerta.
6 Thi kunnyng is maad wondirful of me; it is coumfortid, and Y schal not mowe to it.
Beekumsi akkanaa anaaf akka malee dinqii dha; hubachuufis akka malee narraa fagoo dha.
7 Whidir schal Y go fro thi spirit; and whider schal Y fle fro thi face?
Hafuura kee biraa ani eessa dhaquun dandaʼa? Fuula kee duraas ani eessatti baqachuun dandaʼa?
8 If Y schal stie in to heuene, thou art there; if Y schal go doun to helle, thou art present. (Sheol h7585)
Yoo ani samiiwwanitti ol baʼe, ati achi jirta; yoo ani siree koo siiʼool keessa dhaabbadhes, achis ni jirta. (Sheol h7585)
9 If Y schal take my fetheris ful eerli; and schal dwelle in the last partis of the see.
Yoo ani qoochoo ganamaatiin barrisee qarqara galaanaa fagoo irra qubadhe,
10 And sotheli thider thin hond schal leede me forth; and thi riyt hond schal holde me.
achittis harki kee karaa na argisiisa; harki kee mirgaas jabeessee na qaba.
11 And Y seide, In hap derknessis schulen defoule me; and the nyyt is my liytnyng in my delicis.
Yoo ani, “Dhugumaan dukkanni na dhoksa; ifnis naannoo kootti halkan taʼa” jedhe,
12 For whi derknessis schulen not be maad derk fro thee, aud the niyt schal be liytned as the dai; as the derknessis therof, so and the liyt therof.
dukkanni iyyuu siif dukkana hin taʼu; halkanis akkuma guyyaa ifa; dukkanni siif akkuma ifaatii.
13 For thou haddist in possessioun my reines; thou tokist me vp fro the wombe of my modir.
Ati namummaa koo isa keessaa uumteertaatii; gadameessa haadha koo keessattis na tolchite.
14 I schal knouleche to thee, for thou art magnefied dreedfuli; thi werkis ben wondirful, and my soule schal knouleche ful miche.
Ani sababii haala sodaachisaa fi dinqisiisaadhaan uumameef sin galateeffadha; hojiin kee dinqisiisaa dha; kanas ani akka gaariittan beeka.
15 Mi boon, which thou madist in priuete, is not hyd fro thee; and my substaunce in the lower partis of erthe.
Yeroo ani iddoo dhoksaatti uumame, lafeen koo si duraa hin dhokanne. Yeroo ani dhidhima lafaa keessatti tolfame,
16 Thin iyen sien myn vnperfit thing, and alle men schulen be writun in thi book; daies schulen be formed, and no man is in tho.
iji kee dhagna koo kan hin tolfamin arge. Guyyoonni duraan dursanii naaf murteeffaman hundi utuu hin jiraatin, kitaaba kee keessatti barreeffamaniiru.
17 Forsothe, God, thi frendis ben maad onourable ful myche to me; the princeheed of hem is coumfortid ful myche.
Yaa Waaqi, yaada kee hubachuun akkam ulfaata! Baayʼinni isaas akkam guddaa dha!
18 I schal noumbre hem, and thei schulen be multiplied aboue grauel; Y roos vp, and yit Y am with thee.
Utuu ani isaan lakkaaʼee jiraadhee, silaa lakkoobsi isaanii cirracha irra baayʼata. Ani yeroon dammaqutti, amma iyyuu suma wajjinan jira.
19 For thou, God, schalt slee synneris; ye menquelleris, bowe awei fro me.
Maaloo yaa Waaqi, ati utuu hamoota fixxee! Warri dhiiga namaa dhangalaaftan, narraa fagaadhaa!
20 For ye seien in thouyt; Take thei her citees in vanite.
Isaan yaada hamaadhaan waaʼee kee dubbatu; diinonni kee akkasumaan maqaa kee dhaʼu.
21 Lord, whether Y hatide not hem that hatiden thee; and Y failide on thin enemyes?
Yaa Waaqayyo, ani warra si jibban hin jibbuu? Warra sitti kaʼanis hin xireeffadhuu?
22 Bi perfite haterede Y hatide hem; thei weren maad enemyes to me.
Ani hamma dhumaatti isaan jibbeera; akka diina koottis isaan nan heda.
23 God, preue thou me, and knowe thou myn herte; axe thou me, and knowe thou my pathis.
Yaa Waaqi, na sakattaʼi; garaa koos beeki; qoriitii na ilaali; yaada koos beeki.
24 And se thou, if weie of wickidnesse is in me; and lede thou me forth in euerlastinge wei.
Yoo karaan hamminaa na keessa jiraate mee ilaali; karaa bara baraa irras na adeemsisi.
