Psalms 137

1 On the floodis of Babiloyne there we saten, and wepten; while we bithouyten on Syon.

ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବାବିଲୀୟ ନଦୀମାନର ନିକଟରେ ସିୟୋନକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କଲା ବେଳେ ସେଠାରେ ବସିଲୁ ଓ ରୋଦନ କଲୁ।

2 In salewis in the myddil therof; we hangiden vp oure orguns.

ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେଠାସ୍ଥିତ ବାଇଶୀ ବୃକ୍ଷରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବୀଣା ଟଙ୍ଗାଇ ରଖିଲୁ।

3 For thei that ledden vs prisoners; axiden vs there the wordis of songis. And thei that ledden awei vs seiden; Synge ye to vs an ympne of the songis of Syon.

କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ଘେନି ଯାଇଥିବା ଲୋକେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଗୀତ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ଚାହିଁଲେ, ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପଦ୍ରବୀଗଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆନନ୍ଦ-ସ୍ୱର ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରି କହିଲେ, “ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସିୟୋନର ଗୋଟିଏ ଗୀତ ଗାନ କର।”

4 Hou schulen we singe a songe of the Lord; in an alien lond?

ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିଦେଶରେ କିପରି କରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୀତ ଗାନ କରିବା?

5 If Y foryete thee, Jerusalem; my riyt hond be youun to foryeting.

ହେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ, ଯଦି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପାସୋରେ, ତେବେ ମୋହର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ ଆପଣା ବଜାଇବା କୌଶଳ ପାସୋରି ଯାଉ।

6 Mi tunge cleue to my chekis; if Y bithenke not on thee. If Y purposide not of thee, Jerusalem; in the bigynnyng of my gladnesse.

ଯଦି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ମରଣ ନ କରେ, ଯଦି ମୁଁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଆପଣା ପରମାନନ୍ଦରୁ ଅଧିକ ଭଲ ନ ମଣେ, ତେବେ ମୋହର ଜିହ୍ୱା ମୋʼ ମୁଖର ତାଳୁରେ ଲାଗି ରହୁ।

7 Lord, haue thou mynde on the sones of Edom; for the dai of Jerusalem. Whiche seien, Anyntische ye, anyntische ye; `til to the foundement ther ynne.

ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଇଦୋମୀୟ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ଦିନ ସ୍ମରଣ କର; ସେମାନେ କହିଲେ, “ଉତ୍ପାଟନ କର, ତହିଁର ମୂଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଉତ୍ପାଟନ କର।”

8 Thou wretchid douyter of Babiloyne; he is blessid, that `schal yelde to thee thi yelding, which thou yeldidist to vs.

ଆଗୋ ବିନାଶ୍ୟ ବାବିଲୀୟ କନ୍ୟେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଯେରୂପ କରିଅଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସେହିରୂପ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଯେ ଦେବ, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ।

9 He is blessid, that schal holde; and hurtle doun hise litle children at a stoon.

ଯେଉଁ ଜନ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଶିଶୁଗଣକୁ ଧରି ଶୈଳ ଉପରେ କଚାଡ଼ିବ, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ।
