Psalms 136
1 Alleluya. Knouleche ye to the Lord, for he is good, for his merci is withouten ende.
Mshukuruni Bwana, kwa kuwa ni mwema.
2 Knouleche ye to the God of goddis.
Mshukuruni Mungu wa miungu.
3 Knouleche ye to the Lord of lordis.
Mshukuruni Bwana wa mabwana:
4 Which aloone makith grete merueils.
Kwake yeye pekee atendaye maajabu makuu,
5 Which made heuenes bi vndurstondyng.
Ambaye kwa ufahamu wake aliziumba mbingu,
6 Which made stidefast erthe on watris.
Ambaye aliitandaza dunia juu ya maji,
7 Which made grete liytis.
Ambaye aliumba mianga mikubwa,
8 The sunne in to the power of the dai.
Jua litawale mchana,
9 The moone and sterris in to the power of the niyt.
Mwezi na nyota vitawale usiku,
10 Which smoot Egipt with the firste gendrid thingis of hem.
Kwake yeye aliyemuua mzaliwa wa kwanza wa Misri,
11 Which ledde out Israel fro the myddil of hem.
Na kuwatoa Israeli katikati yao,
12 In a miyti hond and in an hiy arm.
Kwa mkono wenye nguvu ulionyooshwa,
13 Whiche departide the reed see in to departyngis.
Kwake yeye aliyeigawa Bahari ya Shamu,
14 And ledde out Israel thoruy the myddil therof.
Na kuwapitisha Israeli katikati yake,
15 And he `caste a down Farao and his pouer in the reed see.
Lakini alimfagia Farao na jeshi lake katika Bahari ya Shamu,
16 Which ledde ouer his puple thoruy desert.
Kwake yeye aliyewaongoza watu wake katika jangwa,
17 Which smoot grete kingis.
Ambaye aliwapiga wafalme wenye nguvu,
18 And killide strong kingis.
Naye aliwaua wafalme wenye nguvu,
19 Seon, the king of Amorreis.
Sihoni mfalme wa Waamori,
20 And Og, the king of Baasan.
Ogu mfalme wa Bashani,
21 And he yaf the lond of hem eritage.
Akatoa nchi yao kuwa urithi,
22 Eritage to Israel, his seruaunt.
Urithi kwa Israeli mtumishi wake,
23 For in oure lownesse he hadde mynde on vs.
Aliyetukumbuka katika unyonge wetu,
24 And he ayenbouyte vs fro oure enemyes.
Alituweka huru toka adui zetu,
25 Which yyueth mete to ech fleisch. Knouleche ye to God of heuene.
Ambaye humpa chakula kila kiumbe.
