Psalms 135
1 Alleluya. Herie ye the name of the Lord; ye seruauntis of the Lord, herie ye.
Louez le Nom de l’Eternel; vous serviteurs de l'Eternel, louez-le.
2 Ye that stonden in the hous of the Lord; in the hallis of `the hous of oure God.
Vous qui assistez en la maison de l'Eternel, aux parvis de la maison de notre Dieu,
3 Herie ye the Lord, for the Lord is good; singe ye to his name, for it is swete.
Louez l'Eternel, car l'Eternel est bon; psalmodiez à son Nom, car il est agréable.
4 For the Lord chees Jacob to him silf; Israel in to possessioun to him silf.
Car l'Eternel s'est choisi Jacob, et Israël pour son plus précieux joyau.
5 For Y haue knowe, that the Lord is greet; and oure God bifore alle goddis.
Certainement je sais que l'Eternel est grand, et que notre Seigneur [est] au-dessus de tous les dieux.
6 The Lord made alle thingis, what euere thingis he wolde, in heuene and in erthe; in the see, and in alle depthis of watris.
L'Eternel fait tout ce qu'il lui plaît, dans les cieux et sur la terre, dans la mer, et dans tous les abîmes.
7 He ledde out cloudis fro the ferthest part of erthe; and made leitis in to reyn. Which bringith forth wyndis fro hise tresours;
C'est lui qui fait monter les vapeurs du bout de la terre; il fait les éclairs pour la pluie; il tire le vent hors de ses trésors.
8 which killide the firste gendrid thingis of Egipt, fro man `til to beeste.
C'est lui qui a frappé les premiers-nés d'Egypte, tant des hommes que des bêtes;
9 He sente out signes and grete wondris, in the myddil of thee, thou Egipt; in to Farao and in to alle hise seruauntis.
Qui a envoyé des prodiges et des miracles au milieu de toi, ô Egypte! contre Pharaon, et contre tous ses serviteurs;
10 Which smoot many folkis; and killide stronge kingis.
Qui a frappé plusieurs nations, et tué les puissants Rois;
11 Seon, the king of Ammorreis, and Og, the king of Basan; and alle the rewmes of Chanaan.
[Savoir], Sihon le roi des Amorrhéens, et Hog le roi de Hasan, et ceux de tous les Royaumes de Canaan;
12 And he yaf the lond of hem eritage; eritage to Israel, his puple.
Et qui a donné leur pays en héritage, en héritage, [dis-je], à Israël son peuple.
13 Lord, thi name is with outen ende; Lord, thi memorial be in generacioun and in to generacioun.
Eternel, ta renommée est perpétuelle; Eternel, la mémoire qu'on a de toi est d'âge en âge.
14 For the Lord schal deme his puple; and he schal be preied in hise seruauntis.
Car l'Eternel jugera son peuple, et se repentira à l'égard de ses serviteurs.
15 The symulacris of hethene men ben siluer and gold; the werkis of the hondis of men.
Les dieux des nations ne sont que de l'or et de l'argent, un ouvrage de mains d'homme.
16 Tho han a mouth, and schulen not speke; tho han iyen, and schulen not se.
Ils ont une bouche, et ne parlent point; ils ont des yeux, et ne voient point;
17 Tho han eeris, and schulen not here; for `nether spirit is in the mouth of tho.
Ils ont des oreilles, et n'entendent point; il n'y a point aussi de souffle dans leur bouche.
18 Thei that maken tho, be maad lijk tho; and alle that tristen in tho.
Que ceux qui les font, [et] tous ceux qui s'y confient, leur soient faits semblables.
19 The hous of Israel, blesse ye the Lord; the hous of Aaron, blesse ye the Lord.
Maison d'Israël, bénissez l'Eternel; maison d'Aaron, bénissez l'Eternel.
20 The hous of Leuy, blesse ye the Lord; ye that dreden the Lord, `blesse ye the Lord.
Maison des Lévites, bénissez l'Eternel; vous qui craignez l'Eternel, bénissez l'Eternel.
21 Blessid be the Lord of Syon; that dwellith in Jerusalem.
Béni soit de Sion l'Eternel qui habite dans Jérusalem. Louez l'Eternel.
