Psalms 132
1 The song of greces. Lord, haue thou mynde on Dauid; and of al his myldenesse.
Ein Stufenlied. / Gedenke, Jahwe, dem David / All die Opfer, die er gebracht.
2 As he swoor to the Lord; he made a vowe to God of Jacob.
Er leistete Jahwe einen Schwur, / Gelobte dem starken Gott Jakobs:
3 I schal not entre in to the tabernacle of myn hous; Y schal not stie in to the bed of mi restyng.
"Wahrlich, nicht geh ich ins Zelt meines Hauses, / Nicht besteig ich das Bett meines Lagers,
4 I schal not yyue sleep to myn iyen; and napping to myn iye liddis.
Nicht gönne ich Schlaf meinen Augen / Noch meinen Wimpern Schlummer:
5 And rest to my templis, til Y fynde a place to the Lord; a tabernacle to God of Jacob.
Bis ich eine Stätte für Jahwe gefunden, / Eine Wohnung für Jakobs starken Gott."
6 Lo! we herden that arke of testament in Effrata, `that is, in Silo; we founden it in the feeldis of the wode.
Sieh, wir hörten, sie sei in Efrâta, / Wir haben sie dann in Jaars Gefilden gefunden.
7 We schulen entre in to the tabernacle of hym; we schulen worschipe in the place, where hise feet stoden.
So laßt uns denn in seine Wohnung gehn, / Uns niederwerfen vor seiner Füße Schemel.
8 Lord, rise thou in to thi reste; thou and the ark of thin halewing.
Auf, Jahwe, begib dich zu deiner Ruhstatt, / Du und die Lade, das Bild deiner Macht!
9 Thi prestis be clothid with riytfulnesse; and thi seyntis make ful out ioye.
Deine Priester werden dir dienen in Treue, / Und deine Frommen werden sich freun.
10 For Dauid, thi seruaunt; turne thou not awei the face of thi crist.
Um Davids, deines Knechtes, willen / Versage nicht deines Gesalbten Bitte!
11 The Lord swoor treuthe to Dauid, and he schal not make hym veyn; of the fruyt of thi wombe Y schal sette on thi seete.
Jahwe hat David geschworen / — Wahr ist's, nicht nimmt er's zurück —: / Von der Frucht deines Leibes / Will ich einen Mann auf den Thron dir setzen.
12 If thi sones schulen kepe my testament; and my witnessingis, these whiche Y schal teche hem. And the sones of hem til in to the world; thei schulen sette on thi seete.
Halten deine Söhne den Bund mit mir / Und mein Zeugnis, das ich sie lehre: / So sollen auch ihre Söhne für immer / Dir auf dem Throne sitzen."
13 For the Lord chees Sion; he chees it in to dwelling to hym silf.
Denn Jahwe hat Zion erwählt, / Hat es zu seinem Wohnsitz begehrt:
14 This is my reste in to the world of world; Y schal dwelle here, for Y chees it.
"Dies ist meine Ruhstatt für immer; / Hier will ich bleiben, weil ich es begehrt.
15 I blessynge schal blesse the widewe of it; Y schal fille with looues the pore men of it.
Seine Nahrung will ich reichlich segnen, / Seine Armen sättigen mit Brot.
16 I schal clothe with heelthe the preestis therof; and the hooli men therof schulen make ful out ioye in ful reioisinge.
Seine Priester will ich kleiden in Heil, / Und seine Frommen sollen laut jauchzen.
17 Thidir Y schal bringe forth the horn of Dauid; Y made redi a lanterne to my crist.
Dort laß ich ein Horn für David sprossen: / Meinem Gesalbten hab ich eine Leuchte bereitet.
18 I schal clothe hise enemyes with schame; but myn halewing schal floure out on hym.
Seine Feinde will ich in Schande kleiden, / Aber auf ihm soll glänzen seine Krone."
