Psalms 129

1 The song of greces. Israel seie now; Ofte thei fouyten ayens me fro my yongth.

೧ಯಾತ್ರಾಗೀತೆ. “ನಮ್ಮ ಯೌವನ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಲವು ಸಾರಿ ಬಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಹೇಳಲಿ.

2 Ofte thei fouyten ayens me fro my yongthe; and sotheli thei miyten not to me.

೨“ನಾವು ಯೌವನ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಸಾರಿ ಬಾಧೆ ಹೊಂದಿದರೂ, ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.

3 Synneris forgeden on my bak; thei maden long her wickidnesse.

೩ಉಳುವವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಬೆನ್ನಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಳುತ್ತಾ, ಉದ್ದವಾದ ಗೆರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದರು.”

4 The `iust Lord schal beete the nollis of synneris;

೪ಆದರೆ ನೀತಿಸ್ವರೂಪನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು, ದುಷ್ಟರು ಹಾಕಿದ ಬಂಧನಗಳನ್ನು ಛೇದಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

5 alle that haten Sion be schent, and turned abak.

೫ಚೀಯೋನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವಮಾನದಿಂದ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಲಿ.

6 Be thei maad as the hey of hous coppis; that driede vp, bifore that it be drawun vp.

೬ಅವರು ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲಣ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನಂತಾಗಲಿ; ಅದು ಹೂವು ಬಿಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲೇ ಒಣಗಿಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ;

7 Of which hei he that schal repe, schal not fille his hond; and he that schal gadere hondfullis, schal not fille his bosum.

೭ಅದನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ಯುವವನ ಹಿಡಿಯೂ, ಸಿವುಡು ಕಟ್ಟುವವನ ಉಡಿಲೂ ತುಂಬುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

8 And thei that passiden forth seiden not, The blessing of the Lord be on you; we blessiden you in the name of the Lord.

೮ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವವರು, “ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು, ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ” ಎಂದೂ ಹೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
