Psalms 128

1 The song of greces. Blessid ben alle men, that dreden the Lord; that gon in hise weies.

Ein Wallfahrtslied. Wohl jedem, der den HERRN fürchtet und in seinen Wegen wandelt!

2 For thou schalt ete the trauels of thin hondis; thou art blessid, and it schal be wel to thee.

Du wirst dich nähren von deiner Hände Arbeit; wohl dir, du hast es gut!

3 Thi wijf as a plenteous vyne; in the sidis of thin hous. Thi sones as the newe sprenges of olyue trees; in the cumpas of thi bord.

Dein Weib ist wie ein fruchtbarer Weinstock im Innern deines Hauses, deine Kinder wie junge Ölbäume rings um deinen Tisch.

4 Lo! so a man schal be blessid; that dredith the Lord.

Siehe, so wird der Mann gesegnet, der den HERRN fürchtet!

5 The Lord blesse thee fro Syon; and se thou the goodis of Jerusalem in alle the daies of thi lijf.

Der HERR segne dich aus Zion, daß du das Glück Jerusalems sehest alle Tage deines Lebens

6 And se thou the sones of thi sones; se thou pees on Israel.

und sehest die Kinder deiner Kinder! Friede über Israel!
