Psalms 124

1 The song of grecis `of Dauith. Israel seie now, No but for the Lord was in vs;

अब इस्राईल यूँ कहे, अगर ख़ुदावन्द हमारी तरफ़ न होता,

2 no but for `the Lord was in vs. Whanne men risiden vp ayens vs;

अगर ख़ुदावन्द उस वक़्त हमारी तरफ़ न होता, जब लोग हमारे ख़िलाफ़ उठे,

3 in hap thei hadden swalewid vs quike. Whanne the woodnesse of hem was wrooth ayens vs;

तो जब उनका क़हर हम पर भड़का था, वह हम को ज़िन्दा ही निगल जाते।

4 in hap watir hadde sope vs vp.

उस वक़्त पानी हम को डुबो देता, और सैलाब हमारी जान पर से गुज़र जाता।

5 Oure soule passide thoruy a stronde; in hap oure soule hadde passide thoruy a watir vnsuffrable.

उस वक़्त मौजज़न, पानी हमारी जान पर से गुज़र जाता।

6 Blessid be the Lord; that `yaf not vs in taking to the teeth of hem.

ख़ुदावन्द मुबारक हो, जिसने हमें उनके दाँतों का शिकार न होने दिया।

7 Oure soule, as a sparowe, is delyuered; fro the snare of hunters. The snare is al to-brokun; and we ben delyuered.

हमारी जान चिड़िया की तरह चिड़ीमारों के जाल से बच निकली, जाल तो टूट गया और हम बच निकले।

8 Oure helpe is in the name of the Lord; that made heuene and erthe.

हमारी मदद ख़ुदावन्द के नाम से है, जिसने आसमान और ज़मीन को बनाया।
