Psalms 124

1 The song of grecis `of Dauith. Israel seie now, No but for the Lord was in vs;

౧దావీదు రాసిన యాత్రల కీర్తన ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలు ఈ విధంగా చెప్పాలి. యెహోవా మనకు తోడుగా ఉండకపోతే,

2 no but for `the Lord was in vs. Whanne men risiden vp ayens vs;

౨మనుషులు మన మీదికి ఎగబడినప్పుడు, యెహోవా మనకు తోడుగా ఉండకపోతే,

3 in hap thei hadden swalewid vs quike. Whanne the woodnesse of hem was wrooth ayens vs;

౩వాళ్ళ ఆగ్రహజ్వాలలు మనపై రగులుకున్నప్పుడు వాళ్ళు మనలను ప్రాణాలతోనే దిగమింగి ఉండేవాళ్ళు.

4 in hap watir hadde sope vs vp.

౪నీళ్ళు మనలను కొట్టుకుపోయేలా చేసి ఉండేవి. ప్రవాహాలు మనలను ముంచెత్తి ఉండేవి.

5 Oure soule passide thoruy a stronde; in hap oure soule hadde passide thoruy a watir vnsuffrable.

౫జల ప్రవాహాల పొంగు మనలను ఉక్కిరిబిక్కిరి చేసి ఉండేవి.

6 Blessid be the Lord; that `yaf not vs in taking to the teeth of hem.

౬వారి పళ్ళు మనలను చీల్చివేయకుండా కాపాడిన యెహోవాకు స్తుతి.

7 Oure soule, as a sparowe, is delyuered; fro the snare of hunters. The snare is al to-brokun; and we ben delyuered.

౭వేటగాడి ఉరి నుండి పక్షి తప్పించుకొన్నట్టు మన ప్రాణం తప్పించుకుంది. ఉరి తెగిపోయింది. మనం తప్పించుకున్నాము.

8 Oure helpe is in the name of the Lord; that made heuene and erthe.

౮భూమినీ, ఆకాశాలనూ సృష్టించిన యెహోవాయే మనకు సహాయం.
