Psalms 122

1 The song of the grecis of Dauid. I am glad in these thingis, that ben seid to me; We schulen go in to the hous of the Lord.

சீயோன் மலை ஏறும்போது பாடும் தாவீதின் பாடல். “யெகோவாவின் ஆலயத்திற்கு நாம் போவோம்” என்று என்னிடம் சொன்னவர்களோடு சேர்ந்து நான் மகிழ்ச்சியடைந்தேன்.

2 Oure feet weren stondynge; in thi hallis, thou Jerusalem.

எருசலேமே, எங்கள் கால்கள் உன் வாசல்களில் நிற்கின்றன.

3 Jerusalem, which is bildid as a citee; whos part taking therof is in to the same thing.

நெருக்கமாய் ஒருங்கிணைக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு பட்டணத்தைப்போல், எருசலேம் கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

4 For the lynagis, the lynagis of the Lord stieden thidir, the witnessing of Israel; to knouleche to the name of the Lord.

யெகோவாவினுடைய பெயரைத் துதிப்பதற்கு, கோத்திரங்கள் அங்கு போவார்கள்; இஸ்ரயேலுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட நியமத்தின்படி, யெகோவாவினுடைய கோத்திரங்கள் அங்கு போவார்கள்.

5 For thei saten there on seetis in doom; seetis on the hous of Dauid.

தாவீதின் குடும்ப வரிசையின் சிங்காசனங்கள் உள்ளன; அங்கே மக்கள் நியாயம் தீர்க்கப்படுகிறார்கள்.

6 Preie ye tho thingis, that ben to the pees of Jerusalem; and abundaunce be to hem that louen thee.

எருசலேமின் சமாதானத்திற்காக மன்றாடுங்கள்: “உன்னை நேசிப்பவர்கள் பாதுகாப்பாய் இருப்பார்கள்.

7 Pees be maad in thi vertu; and abundaunce in thi touris.

உன் மதில்களுக்குள் சமாதானமும், உன் கோட்டைகளுக்குள் பாதுகாப்பும் இருப்பதாக.”

8 For my britheren and my neiyboris; Y spak pees of thee.

என் குடும்பத்தின் நிமித்தமும், என் சிநேகிதர்கள் நிமித்தமும் “உனக்குள் சமாதானம் இருக்கட்டும்” என்று நான் வாழ்த்துகிறேன்.

9 For the hous of oure Lord God; Y souyte goodis to thee.

எங்கள் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவின் ஆலயம் அங்கு இருப்பதால், நான் உன் செழிப்பைத் தேடுவேன்.
