Psalms 121

1 The song of greces. I reiside myn iyen to the hillis; fro whannus help schal come to me.

Ein Lied im höhern Chor. Ich hebe meine Augen auf zu den Bergen, von welchen mir Hilfe kommt.

2 Myn help is of the Lord; that made heuene and erthe.

Meine Hilfe kommt vom HERRN, der Himmel und Erde gemacht hat.

3 The Lord yyue not thi foot in to mouyng; nether he nappe, that kepith thee.

Er wird deinen Fuß nicht gleiten lassen; und der dich behütet, schläft nicht.

4 Lo! he schal not nappe, nether slepe; that kepith Israel.

Siehe, der Hüter Israels schläft noch schlummert nicht.

5 The Lord kepith thee; the Lord is thi proteccioun aboue thi riythond.

Der HERR behütet dich; der HERR ist dein Schatten über deiner rechten Hand,

6 The sunne schal not brenne thee bi dai; nether the moone bi nyyt.

daß dich des Tages die Sonne nicht steche, noch der Mond des Nachts.

7 The Lord kepe thee fro al yuel; the Lord kepe thi soule.

Der HERR behüte dich vor allem Übel; er behüte deine Seele!

8 The Lord kepe thi goyng in and thi goyng out; fro this tyme now and in to the world.

Der HERR behüte deinen Ausgang und Eingang von nun an bis in Ewigkeit!
