1 Alleluia. Blessid ben men with out wem in the weie; that gon in the lawe of the Lord.
ALEPH Bienaventurados aquellos cuyos caminos son irreprochables, que caminan según la ley de Yahvé.
2 Blessid ben thei, that seken hise witnessingis; seken him in al the herte.
Bienaventurados los que guardan sus estatutos, que lo buscan con todo su corazón.
3 For thei that worchen wickidnesse; yeden not in hise weies.
Sí, no hacen nada malo. Caminan por sus caminos.
4 Thou hast comaundid; that thin heestis be kept greetly.
Tú has ordenado tus preceptos, que debemos obedecer plenamente.
5 I wolde that my weies be dressid; to kepe thi iustifiyngis.
Oh, si mis caminos fueran firmes ¡para obedecer tus estatutos!
6 Thanne Y schal not be schent; whanne Y schal biholde perfitli in alle thin heestis.
Entonces no me decepcionaría, cuando considero todos tus mandamientos.
7 I schal knouleche to thee in the dressing of herte; in that that Y lernyde the domes of thi riytfulnesse.
Te daré gracias con rectitud de corazón, cuando me entere de tus justos juicios.
8 I schal kepe thi iustifiyngis; forsake thou not me on ech side.

¿Cómo puede un joven mantener su camino puro? Viviendo según tu palabra.

21 Thou blamedist the proude; thei ben cursid, that bowen awei fro thin heestis.
Has reprendido a los soberbios que están malditos, que se alejan de tus mandamientos.
22 Do thou awei `fro me schenschipe and dispising; for Y souyte thi witnessingis.
Aleja de mí el reproche y el desprecio, porque he guardado tus estatutos.
23 For whi princis saten, and spaken ayens me; but thi seruaunt was exercisid in thi iustifiyngis.

Quita mi desgracia que temo, porque tus ordenanzas son buenas.
40 Lo! Y coueitide thi comaundementis; quikene thou me in thin equite.
¡He aquí que anhelo tus preceptos! Revísame en tu justicia. VAV

Que tu bondad amorosa también venga a mí, Yahvé, tu salvación, según tu palabra.
42 And Y schal answere a word to men seiynge schenschipe to me; for Y hopide in thi wordis.
Así tendré una respuesta para el que me reprocha, porque confío en tu palabra.
43 And take thou not awei fro my mouth the word of treuthe outerli; for Y hopide aboue in thi domes.
No arrebates la palabra de la verdad de mi boca, porque pongo mi esperanza en tus ordenanzas.
44 And Y schal kepe thi lawe euere; in to the world, and in to the world of world.
Así que obedeceré tu ley continuamente, por siempre y para siempre.
45 And Y yede in largenesse; for Y souyte thi comaundementis.
Caminaré en libertad, porque he buscado tus preceptos.
46 And Y spak of thi witnessyngis in the siyt of kingis; and Y was not schent.
También hablaré de tus estatutos ante los reyes, y no se sentirá decepcionado.
47 And Y bithouyte in thin heestis; whiche Y louede.
Me deleitaré en tus mandamientos, porque me encantan.
48 And Y reiside myn hondis to thi comaundementis, whiche Y louede; and Y schal be excercisid in thi iustifiyngis.

Que los que te temen se dirijan a mí. Conocerán sus estatutos.
