Psalms 118
1 Alleluia. Knouleche ye to the Lord, for he is good; for his merci is with outen ende.
Célébrez Yahweh, car il est bon, car sa miséricorde est éternelle.
2 Israel seie now, for he is good; for his merci is with outen ende.
Qu'Israël dise: « Oui, sa miséricorde est éternelle! »
3 The hous of Aaron seie now; for his merci is with outen ende.
Que la maison d'Aaron dise: « Oui, sa miséricorde est éternelle! »
4 Thei that dreden the Lord, seie now; for his merci is withouten ende.
Que ceux qui craignent Yahweh disent: « Oui, sa miséricorde est éternelle! » Pendant le trajet.
5 Of tribulacioun Y inwardli clepide the Lord; and the Lord herde me in largenesse.
Du sein de ma détresse j'ai invoqué Yahweh: Yahweh m'a exaucé et m'a mis au large.
6 The Lord is an helpere to me; Y schal not drede what a man schal do to me.
Yahweh est pour moi, je ne crains rien: que peuvent me faire des hommes?
7 The Lord is an helpere to me; and Y schal dispise myn enemyes.
Yahweh est pour moi parmi ceux qui me secourent; je verrai la ruine de ceux qui me haïssent.
8 It is betere for to trist in the Lord; than for to triste in man.
Mieux vaut chercher un refuge en Yahweh, que de se confier aux hommes.
9 It is betere for to hope in the Lord; than for to hope in princes.

10 Alle folkis cumpassiden me; and in the name of the Lord it bifelde, for Y am auengide on hem.
Toutes les nations m'environnaient: au nom de Yahweh, je les taille en pièces.

Elles m'environnaient et m'enveloppaient: au nom de Yahweh, je les taille en pièces.
12 Thei cumpassiden me as been, and thei brenten out as fier doith among thornes; and in the name of the Lord, for Y am avengid on hem.
Elles m'environnaient comme des abeilles: elles s'éteignent comme un feu d'épines; au nom de Yahweh, je les taille en pièces.
13 I was hurlid, and turnede vpsedoun, that Y schulde falle doun; and the Lord took me vp.
Tu me poussais violemment pour me faire tomber, mais Yahweh m'a secouru.
14 The Lord is my strengthe, and my heryyng; and he is maad to me in to heelthe.
Yahweh est ma force et l'objet de mes chants; il a été mon salut.
15 The vois of ful out ioiyng and of heelthe; be in the tabernaclis of iust men.
Des cris de triomphe et de délivrance retentissent dans les tentes des justes. La droite de Yahweh a déployé sa force;

la droite de Yahweh est élevée, la droite de Yahweh a déployé sa force.
17 I schal not die, but Y schal lyue; and Y schal telle the werkis of the Lord.
Je ne mourrai pas, je vivrai, et je raconterai les œuvres de Yahweh.
18 The Lord chastisinge hath chastisid me; and he yaf not me to deth.

Je te célébrerai, parce que tu m'as exaucé, et que tu as été mon salut.

La pierre rejetée par ceux qui bâtissaient est devenue la pierre angulaire. Les prêtres
23 This thing is maad of the Lord; and it is wonderful bifore oure iyen.
C'est l'œuvre de Yahweh, c'est une chose merveilleuse à nos yeux. Le peuple, en entrant.
24 This is the dai which the Lord made; make we ful out ioye, and be we glad ther ynne.
Voici le jour que Yahweh a fait; livrons-nous à l'allégresse et à la joie.
25 O! Lord, make thou me saaf, O! Lord, make thou wel prosperite;
O Yahweh, donne le salut! O Yahweh, donne la prospérité! Les prêtres, au chef.
26 blessid is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. We blesseden you of the hous of the Lord;
Béni soit celui qui vient au nom de Yahweh! Nous vous bénissons de la maison de Yahweh!
27 God is Lord, and hath youe liyt to vs. Ordeyne ye a solempne dai in thicke puplis; til to the horn of the auter.

Tu es mon Dieu, et je te célébrerai; mon Dieu, et je t'exalterai. Tous ensemble.
