Psalms 116
1 Alleluia. I louede `the Lord; for the Lord schal here the vois of my preier.
Ich liebe Jehova; denn er hörte [O. hört] meine Stimme, mein Flehen;
2 For he bowide doun his eere to me; and Y schal inwardli clepe in my daies.
Denn er hat zu mir geneigt sein Ohr; und ich will ihn anrufen in allen meinen Tagen.
3 The sorewis of deth cumpassiden me; and the perelis of helle founden me. I foond tribulacioun and sorewe; (Sheol h7585)
Es umfingen mich die Bande des Todes, und die Bedrängnisse des Scheols erreichten mich; ich fand Drangsal und Kummer. (Sheol h7585)
4 and Y clepide inwardli the name of the Lord. Thou, Lord, delyuere my soule;
Und ich rief an den Namen Jehovas: Bitte, Jehova, errette meine Seele!
5 the Lord is merciful, and iust; and oure God doith merci.
Gnädig ist Jehova und gerecht, und unser Gott ist barmherzig.
6 And the Lord kepith litle children; Y was mekid, and he delyuerede me.
Jehova bewahrt die Einfältigen; ich war elend, [O. schwach] und er hat mich gerettet.
7 Mi soule, turne thou in to thi reste; for the Lord hath do wel to thee.
Kehre wieder, meine Seele, zu deiner Ruhe! [Eig. vollen Ruhe] Denn Jehova hat wohlgetan an dir.
8 For he hath delyuered my soule fro deth; myn iyen fro wepingis, my feet fro fallyng doun.
Denn du hast meine Seele errettet vom Tode, meine Augen von Tränen, meinen Fuß vom Sturz.
9 I schal plese the Lord; in the cuntrei of hem that lyuen.
Ich werde wandeln vor Jehova in dem Lande [W. den Ländern] der Lebendigen.
10 I bileuede, for which thing Y spak; forsoth Y was maad low ful myche.
Ich glaubte, darum redete ich. [Eig. denn ich redete] Ich bin sehr gebeugt gewesen.
11 I seide in my passing; Ech man is a lier.
Ich sprach in meiner Bestürzung: Alle Menschen sind Lügner!
12 What schal Y yelde to the Lord; for alle thingis which he yeldide to me?
Wie soll ich Jehova alle seine Wohltaten an mir vergelten?
13 I schal take the cuppe of heelthe; and Y schal inwardli clepe the name of the Lord.
Den Becher der Rettungen will ich nehmen und anrufen den Namen Jehovas.
14 I schal yelde my vowis to the Lord bifor al his puple;
Ich will Jehova meine Gelübde bezahlen, ja, in der Gegenwart seines ganzen Volkes.
15 the deth of seyntis of the Lord is precious in his siyt.
Kostbar ist in den Augen Jehovas der Tod seiner Frommen.
16 O! Lord, for Y am thi seruant; Y am thi seruaunt, and the sone of thi handmaide. Thou hast broke my bondys,
Bitte, Jehova! denn ich bin dein Knecht; ich bin dein Knecht, der Sohn deiner Magd; gelöst hast du meine Bande.
17 to thee Y schal offre a sacrifice of heriyng; and Y schal inwardli clepe the name of the Lord.
Dir will ich Opfer des Lobes [S. die Anm. zu Ps. 107,22] opfern, und anrufen den Namen Jehovas.
18 I schal yelde my vowis to the Lord, in the siyt of al his puple;
Ich will Jehova meine Gelübde bezahlen, ja, in der Gegenwart seines ganzen Volkes.
19 in the porchis of the hous of the Lord, in the myddil of thee, Jerusalem.
In den Vorhöfen des Hauses Jehovas, in deiner Mitte, Jerusalem. Lobet Jehova! [Hallelujah!]
