Psalms 116
1 Alleluia. I louede `the Lord; for the Lord schal here the vois of my preier.
Sitä minä rakastan, että Herra kuulee minun rukoukseni äänen;
2 For he bowide doun his eere to me; and Y schal inwardli clepe in my daies.
Että hän korvansa kallistaa minun puoleeni; sentähden minä avukseni huudan häntä elinaikanani.
3 The sorewis of deth cumpassiden me; and the perelis of helle founden me. I foond tribulacioun and sorewe; (Sheol h7585)
Kuoleman paulat ovat minun piirittäneet, ja helvetin ahdistukset ovat minun löytäneet: minä tulin vaivaan ja tuskaan. (Sheol h7585)
4 and Y clepide inwardli the name of the Lord. Thou, Lord, delyuere my soule;
Mutta minä avukseni huudan Herran nimeä: o Herra, pelasta minun sieluni!
5 the Lord is merciful, and iust; and oure God doith merci.
Herra on armollinen ja vanhurskas, ja meidän Jumalamme on laupias.
6 And the Lord kepith litle children; Y was mekid, and he delyuerede me.
Herra kätkee yksinkertaiset: kuin minä olin kovin vaivattu, niin hän minua autti.
7 Mi soule, turne thou in to thi reste; for the Lord hath do wel to thee.
Palaja taas, minun sieluni, sinun lepoos; sillä Herra tekee hyvästi sinulle.
8 For he hath delyuered my soule fro deth; myn iyen fro wepingis, my feet fro fallyng doun.
Sillä sinä olet sieluni temmannut pois kuolemasta, silmäni kyynelistä, jalkani kompastuksesta.
9 I schal plese the Lord; in the cuntrei of hem that lyuen.
Minä vaellan Herran edessä eläväin maassa.
10 I bileuede, for which thing Y spak; forsoth Y was maad low ful myche.
Minä uskon, sentähden minä puhun; mutta minä sangen vaivataan.
11 I seide in my passing; Ech man is a lier.
Minä sanoin hämmästyksessä: kaikki ihmiset ovat valehteliat.
12 What schal Y yelde to the Lord; for alle thingis which he yeldide to me?
Kuinka minä maksan Herralle kaikki hänen hyvät tekonsa, jotka hän minulle teki?
13 I schal take the cuppe of heelthe; and Y schal inwardli clepe the name of the Lord.
Minä otan sen autuaallisen kalkin, ja saarnaan Herran nimeä.
14 I schal yelde my vowis to the Lord bifor al his puple;
Minä maksan lupaukseni Herralle kaiken hänen kansansa edessä.
15 the deth of seyntis of the Lord is precious in his siyt.
Hänen pyhäinsä kuolema on kallis Herran edessä.
16 O! Lord, for Y am thi seruant; Y am thi seruaunt, and the sone of thi handmaide. Thou hast broke my bondys,
O Herra! minä olen sinun palvelias, minä olen sinun palvelias, sinun piikas poika: sinä olet minun siteeni vallallensa päästänyt.
17 to thee Y schal offre a sacrifice of heriyng; and Y schal inwardli clepe the name of the Lord.
Minä uhraan sinulle kiitosuhria, ja Herran nimeä saarnaan.
18 I schal yelde my vowis to the Lord, in the siyt of al his puple;
Minä maksan Herralle lupaukseni kaiken hänen kansansa edessä,
19 in the porchis of the hous of the Lord, in the myddil of thee, Jerusalem.
Herran huoneen esikartanoissa, keskellä sinua, Jerusalem. Halleluja!
