Psalms 115
1 Lord, not to vs, not to vs; but yyue thou glorie to thi name.
Non point à nous, ô Eternel! non point à nous, mais à ton Nom donne gloire pour l'amour de ta miséricorde, pour l'amour de ta vérité.
2 On thi merci and thi treuthe; lest ony tyme hethene men seien, Where is the God of hem?
Pourquoi diraient les nations: où est maintenant leur Dieu?
3 Forsothe oure God in heuene; dide alle thingis, whiche euere he wolde.
Certes notre Dieu est aux cieux; il fait tout ce qu'il lui plaît.
4 The symulacris of hethene men ben siluer and gold; the werkis of mennus hondis.
Leurs dieux sont des [dieux] d'or et d'argent, un ouvrage des mains d'homme.
5 Tho han mouth, and schulen not speke; tho han iyen, and schulen not se.
Ils ont une bouche, et ne parlent point; ils ont des yeux, et ne voient point;
6 Tho han eeris, and schulen not here; tho han nose thurls, and schulen not smelle.
Ils ont des oreilles, et n'entendent point; ils ont un nez, et ils n'[en] flairent point;
7 Tho han hondis, and schulen not grope; tho han feet, and schulen not go; tho schulen not crye in her throte.
Des mains, et ils n'[en] touchent point; des pieds, et ils n'en marchent point; [et] ils ne rendent aucun son de leur gosier.
8 Thei that maken tho ben maad lijk tho; and alle that triste in tho.
Que ceux qui les font, [et] tous ceux qui s'y confient, leur soient faits semblables.
9 The hous of Israel hopide in the Lord; he is the helpere `of hem, and the defendere of hem.
Israël confie-toi en l'Eternel; il est le secours et le bouclier de ceux [qui se confient en lui].
10 The hous of Aaron hopide in the Lord; he is the helpere of hem, and the defendere of hem.
Maison d'Aaron, confiez-vous en l'Eternel; il est leur aide et leur bouclier.
11 Thei that dreden the Lord, hopiden in the Lord; he is the helpere of hem, and the defendere of hem.
Vous qui craignez l'Eternel, confiez-vous en l'Eternel; il est leur aide et leur bouclier.
12 The Lord was myndeful of vs; and blesside vs. He blesside the hous of Israel; he blesside the hous of Aaron.
L'Eternel s'est souvenu de nous, il bénira, il bénira la maison d'Israël, il bénira la maison d'Aaron.
13 He blesside alle men that dreden the Lord; `he blesside litle `men with the grettere.
Il bénira ceux qui craignent l'Eternel, tant les petits que les grands.
14 The Lord encreesse on you; on you and on youre sones.
L'Eternel ajoutera [bénédiction] sur vous, sur vous et sur vos enfants.
15 Blessid be ye of the Lord; that made heuene and erthe.
Vous êtes bénis de l'Eternel, qui a fait les cieux et la terre.
16 Heuene of `heuene is to the Lord; but he yaf erthe to the sones of men.
Quant aux Cieux, les Cieux sont à l'Eternel; mais il a donné la terre aux enfants des hommes.
17 Lord, not deed men schulen herie thee; nether alle men that goen doun in to helle.
Les morts, et tous ceux qui descendent où l'on ne dit plus mot, ne loueront point l'Eternel.
18 But we that lyuen, blessen the Lord; fro this tyme now and til in to the world.
Mais nous, nous bénirons l'Eternel dès maintenant, et à toujours. Louez l'Eternel.
