Psalms 110

1 `The salm of Dauith. The Lord seide to my Lord; Sitte thou on my riyt side. Til Y putte thin enemyes; a stool of thi feet.

Псалом Давидів. Промовив Господь Володареві моєму: «Сядь праворуч від Мене, доки Я не покладу ворогів Твоїх, як підніжок для Твоїх ніг».

2 The Lord schal sende out fro Syon the yerde of thi vertu; be thou lord in the myddis of thin enemyes.

Жезл сили Твоєї простягне Господь із Сіону – пануй серед ворогів Твоїх!

3 The bigynnyng is with thee in the dai of thi vertu, in the briytnessis of seyntis; Y gendride thee of the wombe before the dai sterre.

Народ Твій готовий у день з’явлення сили Твоєї, він [вишикувався] у величний святий стрій. Із надр досвітньої зорі, немов вранішня роса, народження Твоє.

4 The Lord swoor, and it schal not repente him; Thou art a preest with outen ende, bi the ordre of Melchisedech.

Поклявся Господь і не відмовиться: «Ти – священник навіки за чином Мельхіседека».

5 The Lord on thi riyt side; hath broke kyngis in the dai of his veniaunce.

Володар по правиці від Тебе, Він вразить царів у день гніву Свого.

6 He schal deme among naciouns, he schal fille fallyngis; he schal schake heedis in the lond of many men.

Судитиме Він народи, вкриє [землю] трупами, вразить голову [ворога] на широкому полі.

7 He dranke of the stronde in the weie; therfor he enhaunside the heed.

Питиме із потоку при дорозі, тому підніме голову.
