Psalms 110

1 `The salm of Dauith. The Lord seide to my Lord; Sitte thou on my riyt side. Til Y putte thin enemyes; a stool of thi feet.

Salmo de Davi: O SENHOR disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo de teus pés.

2 The Lord schal sende out fro Syon the yerde of thi vertu; be thou lord in the myddis of thin enemyes.

O SENHOR enviará o cetro de tua força desde Sião, [dizendo]: Domina tu no meio de teus inimigos.

3 The bigynnyng is with thee in the dai of thi vertu, in the briytnessis of seyntis; Y gendride thee of the wombe before the dai sterre.

Teu povo será voluntário no dia do teu poder; com santas honras, desde o ventre do amanhecer, tu [terás] o orvalho de tua juventude.

4 The Lord swoor, and it schal not repente him; Thou art a preest with outen ende, bi the ordre of Melchisedech.

O SENHOR jurou, e não se arrependerá: Tu és Sacerdote eterno, segundo a ordem de Melquisedeque.

5 The Lord on thi riyt side; hath broke kyngis in the dai of his veniaunce.

O Senhor está à tua direita; ele ferirá aos reis no dia de sua ira.

6 He schal deme among naciouns, he schal fille fallyngis; he schal schake heedis in the lond of many men.

Julgará entre as nações; ele [as] encherá de corpos mortos; [e] ferirá a cabeça de uma grande terra.

7 He dranke of the stronde in the weie; therfor he enhaunside the heed.

Ele beberá do ribeiro no caminho, então levantará a cabeça.
