Psalms 110

1 `The salm of Dauith. The Lord seide to my Lord; Sitte thou on my riyt side. Til Y putte thin enemyes; a stool of thi feet.

दावीद की रचना. एक स्तोत्र. याहवेह मेरे प्रभु ने, राजा से कहा: “मेरे दायें पक्ष में विराजमान हो जाओ. तुम्हारे शत्रुओं को मैं तुम्हारे चरणों की चौकी बना रहा हूं.”

2 The Lord schal sende out fro Syon the yerde of thi vertu; be thou lord in the myddis of thin enemyes.

याहवेह ही ज़ियोन से आपके सामर्थ्यवान राजदंड का विस्तार करेंगे, “आपका शासन आपके शत्रुओं के मध्य बसा होगा!”

3 The bigynnyng is with thee in the dai of thi vertu, in the briytnessis of seyntis; Y gendride thee of the wombe before the dai sterre.

आपकी सेना आपकी लड़ाई के समय स्वेच्छा से आपका साथ देगी, सबेरे के गर्भ से जन्मी हुई ओस के समान पवित्रता से सुशोभित होकर आपके पास आएंगे आपके जवान.

4 The Lord swoor, and it schal not repente him; Thou art a preest with outen ende, bi the ordre of Melchisedech.

यह याहवेह की शपथ है, जो अपने वक्तव्य से दूर नहीं होते: “तुम मेलखीज़ेदेक की शृंखला में सनातन पुरोहित हो.”

5 The Lord on thi riyt side; hath broke kyngis in the dai of his veniaunce.

प्रभु आपके दायें पक्ष में तत्पर हैं; वह उदास होकर राजाओं को कुचल डालेंगे.

6 He schal deme among naciouns, he schal fille fallyngis; he schal schake heedis in the lond of many men.

वह राष्ट्रों पर अपने न्याय का निर्णय घोषित करेंगे, मृतकों का ढेर लग जाएगा और संपूर्ण पृथ्वी के न्यायियों की हत्या कर दी जाएगी.

7 He dranke of the stronde in the weie; therfor he enhaunside the heed.

तब महाराज मार्ग के किनारे के झरने से जल का पान करेंगे, उनका सिर गर्व से ऊंचा होगा.
