Psalms 109

1 To victorye, the salm of Dauid.

பாடகர் குழுத் தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். இறைவனே, நான் துதிக்கும் இறைவனே, நீர் மவுனமாய் இருக்கவேண்டாம்.

2 God, holde thou not stille my preisyng; for the mouth of the synner, and the mouth of the gileful man is openyd on me.

கொடுமையும், வஞ்சனையும் உள்ளவர்கள், தங்கள் வாய்களை எனக்கு விரோதமாகத் திறந்திருக்கிறார்கள்; பொய் நாவுகளால் எனக்கு விரோதமாகப் பேசுகிறார்கள்.

3 Thei spaken ayens me with a gileful tunge, and thei cumpassiden me with wordis of hatrede; and fouyten ayens me with out cause.

அவர்கள் பகைமை நிறைந்த சொற்களுடன் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொள்கிறார்கள்; காரணமின்றி என்னைத் தாக்குகிறார்கள்.

4 For that thing that thei schulden loue me, thei bacbitiden me; but Y preiede.

அவர்கள் என் நட்புக்குப் பதிலாக என்னைக் குற்றம் சாட்டுகிறார்கள், நானோ மன்றாடும் மனிதனாகவே இருக்கிறேன்.

5 And thei settiden ayens me yuelis for goodis; and hatrede for my loue.

அவர்கள் நன்மைக்குப் பதிலாக, எனக்குத் தீமை செய்கிறார்கள்; என் நட்புக்குப் பதிலாக என்னை வெறுக்கிறார்கள்.

6 Ordeyne thou a synner on him; and the deuel stonde on his riyt half.

என் பகைவனை எதிர்ப்பதற்கு ஒரு தீயவனை ஏற்படுத்தும்; அவன் வலதுபக்கத்தில் நின்று அவனைக் குற்றஞ்சாட்டுவானாக.

7 Whanne he is demed, go he out condempned; and his preier `be maad in to synne.

அவன் நியாயம் விசாரிக்கப்படும்போது குற்றவாளியாய் காணப்படட்டும்; அவன் மன்றாட்டுகளும் அவனையே குற்றவாளியாய்த் தீர்ப்பதாக.

8 Hise daies be maad fewe; and another take his bischopriche.

அவன் வாழ்நாட்கள் கொஞ்சமாவதாக; அவனுடைய பதவியை மற்றவர்கள் எடுத்துக்கொள்வார்களாக.

9 Hise sones be maad faderles; and his wijf a widewe.

அவன் பிள்ளைகள் தந்தையற்றவர் ஆகட்டும், அவன் மனைவி விதவையாகட்டும்.

10 Hise sones tremblinge be born ouer, and begge; and be cast out of her habitaciouns.

அவன் பிள்ளைகள் அலைந்து திரிந்து பிச்சையெடுக்கட்டும்; அவர்கள் தங்கள் பாழடைந்த வீடுகளிலிருந்தும் துரத்தப்படுவார்களாக.

11 An vsurere seke al his catel; and aliens rauysche hise trauelis.

கடன் கொடுத்தவன் அவனுக்குரிய எல்லாவற்றையும் பறித்துக் கொள்வானாக; அவனுடைய பிரயாசத்தின் பலனை பிறர் கொள்ளையிடுவார்களாக.

12 Noon helpere be to him; nether ony be that haue mercy on hise modirles children.

ஒருவருமே அவனுக்கு தயவுகாட்டாமலும், அவனுடைய திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளுக்கு அனுதாபப்படாமலும் இருப்பார்களாக.

13 Hise sones be maad in to perisching; the name of him be don awei in oon generacioun.

அவன் சந்ததிகள் மறைந்துபோவார்களாக; அவன் பெயர் அடுத்த தலைமுறையிலிருந்து இல்லாமல் போவதாக.

14 The wickidnesse of hise fadris come ayen in to mynde in the siyt of the Lord; and the synne of his modir be not don awei.

அவன் முற்பிதாக்களின் அநியாயம் யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக நினைக்கப்படுவதாக; அவர்களுடைய தாயின் பாவம் ஒருபொழுதும் நீங்காதிருப்பதாக.

15 Be thei maad euere ayens the Lord; and the mynde of hem perische fro erthe.

ஏனெனில் அவர்களுடைய பாவங்கள் எப்பொழுதுமே யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக நிலைத்திருக்கட்டும்; அவர் அவர்களுடைய நினைவையும் பூமியிலிருந்து அகற்றட்டும்.

16 For that thing that he thouyte not to do merci,

ஏனெனில் அவன் ஒருபோதும் நன்மை செய்வதைப்பற்றி நினைத்ததில்லை; மாறாக ஏழைகளையும், எளியவர்களையும், உள்ளம் உடைந்தவர்களையும் கொலைசெய்யத் தேடினான்.

17 and he pursuede a pore man and beggere; and to slee a man compunct in herte.

சாபம் இடுவதையே அவன் விரும்பினான்; அவன் இட்ட சாபம் அவன் மேலேயே வருவதாக; ஆசீர்வதிப்பதை அவன் விரும்பவில்லை, ஆசீர்வாதம் அவனுக்குத் தூரமாவதாக.

18 And he louede cursing, and it schal come to hym; and he nolde blessing, and it schal be maad fer fro him. And he clothide cursing as a cloth, and it entride as water in to hise ynnere thingis; and as oile in hise boonus.

அவன் சாபத்தையே தன் உடையாக அணிந்துகொண்டான்; அது அவன் உடலுக்குள் தண்ணீரைப்போலவும், அவன் எலும்புகளுக்குள் எண்ணெயைப்போலவும் புகுந்தது.

19 Be it maad to him as a cloth, with which he is hilyd; and as a girdil, with which he is euere gird.

சாபம் அவனைப் போர்த்தும் மேலங்கியைப்போல் இருப்பதாக; அது அவனைச்சுற்றி கட்டப்பட்ட இடைக்கச்சையைப் போலவும் எப்போதும் இருப்பதாக.

20 This is the werk of hem that bacbiten me anentis the Lord; and that speke yuels ayens my lijf.

என்னைக் குற்றம் சாட்டுகிறவர்களுக்கும், என்னைக்குறித்துத் தீமையாய்ப் பேசுகிறவர்களுக்கும் இதுவே யெகோவாவினால் கொடுக்கப்படும் தண்டனையாய் இருப்பதாக.

21 And thou, Lord, Lord, do with me for thi name; for thi merci is swete.

ஆனால், ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவாவே, நீர் உமது பெயரினிமித்தம் என்னை நன்றாய் நடத்தும்; உமது அன்பின் நன்மையினிமித்தம் என்னை விடுவியும்.

22 Delyuere thou me, for Y am nedi and pore; and myn herte is disturblid with ynne me.

ஏனெனில் நான் ஏழையும் எளியவனுமாய் இருக்கிறேன், என் இருதயம் எனக்குள் காயப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

23 I am takun awei as a schadowe, whanne it bowith awei; and Y am schakun awei as locustis.

நான் ஒரு மாலை நிழல்போல் மங்கிப்போகிறேன்; ஒரு வெட்டுக்கிளியைப்போல் உதறிப் போடப்படுகிறேன்.

24 Mi knees ben maad feble of fasting; and my fleische was chaungid for oile.

உபவாசத்தினால் என் முழங்கால்கள் சோர்ந்துபோகின்றன; என் உடல் மெலிந்து போயிருக்கிறது.

25 And Y am maad schenschipe to hem; thei sien me, and moueden her heedis.

என்னைக் குற்றம் சாட்டுகிறவர்களுக்கு நான் ஓர் இகழ்ச்சிப் பொருளானேன்; அவர்கள் என்னைப் பார்க்கும்போது, ஏளனமாய் தங்கள் தலைகளை அசைக்கிறார்கள்.

26 Mi Lord God, helpe thou me; make thou me saaf bi thi merci.

யெகோவாவே, என் இறைவனே, எனக்கு உதவிசெய்யும்; உமது அன்பின்படியே என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்.

27 And thei schulen wite, that this is thin hond; and thou, Lord, hast do it.

யெகோவாவே, உமது கரமே அதைச் செய்தது என்றும், நீரே அதைச் செய்தீர் என்றும் அவர்கள் அறியட்டும்.

28 Thei schulen curse, and thou schalt blesse, thei that risen ayens me, be schent; but thi seruaunt schal be glad.

அவர்கள் என்னைச் சபித்தாலும், நீர் என்னை ஆசீர்வதிப்பீர்; அவர்கள் என்னைத் தாக்கும் வேளையில் அவர்கள் வெட்கத்திற்குட்படுவார்கள்; ஆனால் உமது அடியானாகிய நான் களிகூருவேன்.

29 Thei that bacbiten me, be clothid with schame; and be thei hilid with her schenschipe as with a double cloth.

என்னைக் குற்றம் சாட்டுகிறவர்கள் அவமானத்தால் மூடப்படுவார்கள்; ஓர் அங்கியினால் போர்த்தப்படுவதுபோல் அவர்கள் வெட்கத்தால் போர்த்தப்படுவார்கள்.

30 I schal knouleche to the Lord greetli with my mouth; and Y schal herie hym in the myddil of many men.

நான் யெகோவாவை என் வாயினால் பெரிதும் புகழ்ந்து உயர்த்துவேன்; பெருங்கூட்டத்தில் நான் அவரைத் துதிப்பேன்.

31 Which stood nyy on the riyt half of a pore man; to make saaf my soule fro pursueris.

ஏனெனில் அவர் வறுமைப்பட்டவனுடைய வலதுபக்கத்தில் நிற்கிறார்; அவனைக் குற்றவாளியாய்த் தீர்ப்பிடுகிறவர்களிடமிருந்து அவனுடைய உயிரைக் காப்பாற்ற நிற்கிறார்.
