Psalms 107
1 Alleluya. Knouleche ye to the Lord, for he is good; for his merci is in to the world.
Aduceți mulțumiri DOMNULUI, pentru că este bun, că a lui milă dăinuiește pentru totdeauna.
2 Sei thei, that ben ayen bouyt of the Lord; whiche he ayen bouyte fro the hond of the enemye, fro cuntreis he gaderide hem togidere.
Așa să spună cei răscumpărați ai DOMNULUI, pe care el i-a răscumpărat din mâna dușmanului;
3 Fro the risyng of the sunne, and fro the goyng doun; fro the north, and fro the see.
Și i-a adunat din țări, de la răsărit și de la apus, de la miazănoapte și de la miazăzi.
4 Thei erriden in wildirnesse, in a place with out watir; thei founden not weie of the citee of dwellyng place.
Ei au rătăcit în pustie pe o cale neumblată, nu au găsit nicio cetate în care să locuiască.
5 Thei weren hungri and thirsti; her soule failide in hem.
Înfometați și însetați, sufletul lor a leșinat în ei.
6 And thei crieden to the Lord, whanne thei weren set in tribulacioun; and he delyuerede hem fro her nedynesses.
Atunci în tulburarea lor au strigat către DOMNUL și el i-a eliberat din strâmtorările lor.
7 And he ledde forth hem in to the riyt weie; that thei schulden go in to the citee of dwelling.
Și i-a condus pe drumul drept, ca să meargă la o cetate de locuit.
8 The mercies of the Lord knouleche to hym; and hise merueilis knouleche to the sones of men.
O, de ar lăuda oamenii pe DOMNUL pentru bunătatea lui și pentru minunatele lui lucrări pentru copiii oamenilor.
9 For he fillide a voide man; and he fillide with goodis an hungry man.
Căci el satură sufletul care tânjește și umple sufletul flămând cu bunătate.
10 God delyuerede men sittynge in derknessis, and in the schadowe of deth; and men prisoned in beggerye and in yrun.
Cei care șed în întuneric și în umbra morții sunt legați în nenorocire și în fier,
11 For thei maden bitter the spechis of God; and wraththiden the councel of the hiyeste.
Pentru că s-au răzvrătit împotriva cuvintelor lui Dumnezeu și au disprețuit sfatul celui Preaînalt;
12 And the herte of hem was maad meke in trauelis; and thei weren sijk, and noon was that helpide.
De aceea le-a umilit inima cu muncă; au căzut și nu a fost nimeni să îi ajute.
13 And thei crieden to the Lord, whanne thei weren set in tribulacioun; and he delyuerede hem from her nedynessis.
Atunci în tulburarea lor au strigat către DOMNUL și el i-a salvat din strâmtorările lor.
14 And he ledde hem out of derknessis, and schadowe of deth; and brak the boondis of hem.
I-a adus din întuneric și din umbra morții și a rupt legăturile lor în bucăți.
15 The mercies of the Lord knouleche to hym; and hise merueils knouleche to the sones of men.
O, de ar lăuda oamenii pe DOMNUL pentru bunătatea lui și pentru minunatele lui lucrări pentru copiii oamenilor.
16 For he al to-brak brasun yatis; and he brak yrun barris.
Căci el a frânt porțile de aramă și a tăiat zăvoarele de fier în bucăți.
17 He vptook hem fro the weie of her wickidnesse; for thei weren maad lowe for her vnriytfulnesses.
Nebunii, din cauza fărădelegii lor și din cauza nelegiuirilor lor, sunt nenorociți.
18 The soule of hem wlatide al mete; and thei neiyeden `til to the yatis of deth.
Sufletul lor detestă tot felul de mâncare și se apropie de porțile morții.
19 And thei crieden to the Lord, whanne thei weren set in tribulacioun; and he delyuerede hem fro her nedynessis.
Atunci în tulburarea lor strigă către DOMNUL, iar el îi salvează din strâmtorările lor.
20 He sente his word, and heelide hem; and delyuerede hem fro the perischingis of hem.
A trimis cuvântul lui și i-a vindecat și i-a eliberat din nimicirile lor.
21 The mercies of the Lord knouleche to hym; and hise merueils to the sones of men.
O, de ar lăuda oamenii pe DOMNUL pentru bunătatea lui și pentru minunatele lui lucrări pentru copiii oamenilor.
22 And offre thei the sacrifice of heriyng; and telle thei hise werkis in ful out ioiyng.
Să aducă sacrificii de mulțumiri și să vestească lucrările lui cu bucurie.
23 Thei that gon doun in to the see in schippis; and maken worching in many watris.
Cei ce coboară la mare în corăbii, care fac comerț pe ape mari,
24 Thei sien the werkis of the Lord; and hise merueilis in the depthe.
Aceștia văd lucrările DOMNULUI și minunile lui în adânc.
25 He seide, and the spirit of tempest stood; and the wawis therof weren arerid.
Pentru că el poruncește și ridică vântul furtunos, care înalță valurile mării.
26 Thei stien til to heuenes, and goen doun `til to the depthis; the soule of hem failide in yuelis.
Se ridică spre cer, coboară din nou spre adâncuri, sufletul lor se topește din cauza tulburării.
27 Thei weren troblid, and thei weren moued as a drunkun man; and al the wisdom of hem was deuourid.
Ei se clatină încoace și încolo și șovăie ca un om beat și sunt la capătul înțelepciunii lor.
28 And thei crieden to the Lord, whanne thei weren set in tribulacioun; and he ledde hem out of her nedynessis.
Atunci în tulburarea lor strigă către DOMNUL, iar el îi scoate din strâmtorările lor.
29 And he ordeynede the tempest therof in to a soft wynde; and the wawis therof weren stille.
El furtuna o face liniște, așa că valurile ei se alină.
30 And thei weren glad, for tho weren stille; and he ladde hem forth in to the hauene of her wille.
Atunci ei se veselesc că s-au liniștit, iar el îi conduce la limanul lor dorit.
31 The mercies of the Lord knouleche to hym; and hise merueilis to the sones of men.
O, de ar lăuda oamenii pe DOMNUL pentru bunătatea lui și pentru minunatele lui lucrări pentru copiii oamenilor.
32 And enhaunse thei him in the chirche of the puple; and preise thei him in the chaier of eldre men.
Să îl înalțe în adunarea poporului și să îl laude în sfatul bătrânilor.
33 He hath set floodis in to deseert; and the out goingis of watris in to thirst.
El preface râurile în pustie și izvoarele de apă în uscăciune;
34 He hath set fruytful lond in to saltnesse; for the malice of men dwellyng ther ynne.
Un pământ roditor îl preface în pământ sterp, pentru stricăciunea celor ce locuiesc în el.
35 He hath set deseert in to pondis of watris; and erthe with out watir in to outgoyngis of watris.
El schimbă pustia în apă stătătoare și pământul uscat în izvoare de apă.
36 And he settide there hungri men; and thei maden a citee of dwelling.
Și acolo face pe cei flămânzi să locuiască, pentru ca ei să zidească o cetate de locuit,
37 And thei sowiden feeldis, and plauntiden vynes; and maden fruyt of birthe.
Și să semene câmpuri și să sădească vii, care să aducă roadele venitului.
38 And he blesside hem, and thei weren multiplied greetli; and he made not lesse her werk beestis.
El de asemenea îi binecuvântează, astfel că se înmulțesc foarte mult; și nu lasă vitele lor să se împuțineze.
39 And thei weren maad fewe; and thei weren trauelid of tribulacioun of yuelis and of sorewis.
Din nou, ei sunt împuținați și înjosiți prin oprimare, nenorocire și întristare.
40 Strijf was sched out on princes; and he made hem for to erre without the weie, and not in the weie.
El varsă dispreț peste prinți și îi face să rătăcească în pustie, unde nu este nicio cale.
41 And he helpide the pore man fro pouert; and settide meynees as a scheep bringynge forth lambren.
Totuși din nenorocire el așază pe cel sărac în înalt și îi face familii ca o turmă.
42 Riytful men schulen se, and schulen be glad; and al wickidnesse schal stoppe his mouth.
Cei drepți vor vedea aceasta și se vor bucura și toată nelegiuirea își va închide gura.
43 Who is wijs, and schal kepe these thingis; and schal vndirstonde the mercies of the Lord?
Oricine este înțelept și va lua seama la aceste lucruri, aceia vor înțelege bunătatea iubitoare a DOMNULUI.
