Psalms 105
1 Alleluya. Knouleche ye to the Lord, and inwardli clepe ye his name; telle ye hise werkis among hethen men.
Aduceți mulțumiri DOMNULUI; chemați numele lui, faceți cunoscute faptele lui printre popoare.
2 Synge ye to hym, and seie ye salm to him, and telle ye alle hise merueylis;
Cântați-i, cântați-i psalmi, vorbiți despre toate lucrările lui minunate.
3 be ye preisid in his hooli name. The herte of men sekynge the Lord be glad;
Lăudați-vă în sfântul său nume, să se bucure inima celor ce caută pe DOMNUL.
4 seke ye the Lord, and be ye confermed; seke ye euere his face.
Căutați pe DOMNUL și puterea lui, căutați fața lui întotdeauna.
5 Haue ye mynde on hise merueilis, whiche he dide; on his grete wondris, and domes of his mouth.
Amintiți-vă lucrările lui minunate pe care le-a făcut, minunile lui și judecățile gurii sale,
6 The seed of Abraham, his seruaunt; the sones of Jacob, his chosun man.
Voi, sămânță a lui Avraam, servitorul lui, copii ai lui Iacob, aleșii lui.
7 He is oure Lord God; hise domes ben in al the erthe.
El este DOMNUL Dumnezeul nostru, judecățile lui sunt pe tot pământul.
8 He was myndeful of his testament in to the world; of the word which he comaundide in to a thousynde generaciouns.
El și-a amintit legământul său pentru totdeauna, cuvântul care l-a poruncit la o mie de generații.
9 Which he disposide to Abraham; and of his ooth to Isaac.
Legământ pe care l-a făcut cu Avraam și jurământul său lui Isaac;
10 And he ordeynede it to Jacob in to a comaundement; and to Israel in to euerlastinge testament.
Și a confirmat același legământ lui Iacob ca lege, și lui Israel ca legământ veșnic,
11 And he seide, I shal yiue to thee the lond of Canaan; the cord of youre eritage.
Spunând: Ție îți voi da țara Canaanului, sorțul moștenirii tale;
12 Whanne thei weren in a litil noumbre; and the comelingis of hem weren ful fewe.
Când au fost doar puțini oameni la număr; da, foarte puțini și străini în ea.
13 And thei passiden fro folk in to folk; and fro a rewme in to another puple.
Când au mers de la o națiune la alta, de la o împărăție la alt popor;
14 He lefte not a man to anoye hem; and he chastiside kyngis for hem.
El nu a permis niciunui om să le facă rău; da, a mustrat împărați pentru ei,
15 Nile ye touche my cristis; and nyle ye do wickidli among my prophetis.
Spunând: Nu atingeți pe unșii mei și nu faceți rău profeților mei.
16 And God clepide hungir on erthe; and he wastide al the stidefastnesse of breed.
Mai mult, a chemat foamete peste țară, a frânt tot toiagul pâinii.
17 He sente a man bifore hem; Joseph was seeld in to a seruaunt.
A trimis un om înaintea lor, pe Iosif, care a fost vândut ca servitor,
18 Thei maden lowe hise feet in stockis, irun passide by his soule; til the word of him cam.
Ale cărui picioare le-au rănit cu cătușe, fiind pus în fiare,
19 The speche of the Lord enflawmede him;
Până la timpul când cuvântul său a venit, cuvântul DOMNULUI l-a încercat.
20 the king sente and vnbond hym; the prince of puplis sente and delyuerede him.
Împăratul, stăpânul poporului, a trimis și l-a dezlegat și l-a eliberat.
21 He ordeynede him the lord of his hous; and the prince of al his possessioun.
L-a făcut domn al casei sale și stăpân peste toată averea sa,
22 That he schulde lerne hise princis as him silf; and that he schulde teche hise elde men prudence.
Pentru a lega pe prinții lui după plăcerea sa și a învăța pe bătrânii săi înțelepciune.
23 And Israel entride in to Egipt; and Jacob was a comeling in the lond of Cham.
Israel de asemenea a venit în Egipt; și Iacob a locuit temporar în țara lui Ham.
24 And God encreesside his puple greetli; and made hym stidefast on hise enemyes.
Și el a înmulțit mult pe poporul lui; și i-a făcut mai puternici decât pe dușmanii lor.
25 He turnede the herte of hem, that thei hatiden his puple; and diden gile ayens hise seruauntis.
A întors inima lor pentru a urî pe poporul său, ca să se poarte cu viclenie cu servitorii săi.
26 He sent Moises, his seruaunt; thilke Aaron, whom he chees.
A trimis pe Moise, servitorul său; și pe Aaron, pe care l-a ales.
27 He puttide in hem the wordis of hise myraclis; and of hise grete wondris in the lond of Cham.
Ei au arătat semnele lui printre ei și minuni în țara lui Ham.
28 He sente derknessis, and made derk; and he made not bitter hise wordis.
El a trimis întunecime și a făcut-o întuneric; și nu s-au răzvrătit împotriva cuvântului său.
29 He turnede the watris of hem in to blood; and he killide the fischis of hem.
Le-a prefăcut apele în sânge și le-a ucis peștii.
30 And the lond of hem yaf paddoks; in the priue places of the kyngis of hem.
Pământul lor a adus broaște din abundență, în încăperile împăraților lor.
31 God seide, and a fleische flie cam; and gnattis in alle the coostis of hem.
El a vorbit și au venit multe feluri de muște și păduchi în toate ținuturile lor.
32 He settide her reynes hail; fier brennynge in the lond of hem.
Le-a dat grindină ca ploaie și flăcări de foc în țara lor.
33 And he smoot the vynes of hem, and the fige trees of hem; and al to-brak the tree of the coostis of hem.
A lovit de asemenea viile lor și smochinii lor și a rupt copacii din ținuturile lor.
34 He seide, and a locuste cam; and a bruk of which was noon noumbre.
El a vorbit și lăcustele și omizile au venit fără număr,
35 And it eet al the hey in the lond of hem; and it eet al the fruyt of the lond of hem.
Și au mâncat toată verdeața în țara lor și au mâncat rodul pământului lor.
36 And he killide ech the firste gendrid thing in the lond of hem; the firste fruitis of alle the trauel of hem.
A lovit de asemenea toți întâii născuți în țara lor, măreția întregii lor puteri.
37 And he ledde out hem with siluer and gold; and noon was sijk in the lynagis of hem.
De asemenea i-a scos afară cu argint și aur; și nu a fost nimeni fără vlagă printre triburile lor.
38 Egipt was glad in the goyng forth of hem; for the drede of hem lai on Egipcians.
Egiptul s-a veselit la plecarea lor, căci spaima de ei a căzut asupra lor.
39 He spredde abrood a cloude, in to the hiling of hem; and fier, that it schynede to hem bi nyyt.
El a întins un nor ca acoperitoare și foc pentru a da lumină în timpul nopții.
40 Thei axiden, and a curlew cam; and he fillide hem with the breed of heuene.
Poporul a cerut și el a adus prepelițe și i-a săturat cu pâinea cerului.
41 He brak a stoon, and watris flowiden; floodis yeden forth in the drye place.
El a deschis stânca și apele au țâșnit; ele au alergat în locurile uscate ca un râu.
42 For he was myndeful of his hooli word; which he hadde to Abraham, his child.
Căci și-a amintit promisiunea sa sfântă și de Avraam servitorul său.
43 And he ledde out his puple in ful out ioiyng; and hise chosun men in gladnesse.
Și și-a adus afară poporul cu bucurie și pe aleșii săi cu veselie;
44 And he yaf to hem the cuntreis of hethen men; and thei hadden in possessioun the trauels of puplis.
Și le-a dat țările păgânilor și au moștenit munca popoarelor;
45 That thei kepe hise iustifiyngis; and seke his lawe.
Ca să păzească statutele lui și să țină legile lui. Lăudați pe DOMNUL.
