Psalms 104
1 Mi soule, blesse thou the Lord; my Lord God, thou art magnyfied greetli. Thou hast clothid knouleching and fairnesse; and thou art clothid with liyt,
मेरे प्राण, याहवेह का स्तवन करो. याहवेह, मेरे परमेश्वर, अत्यंत महान हैं आप; वैभव और तेज से विभूषित हैं आप.
2 as with a cloth. And thou stretchist forth heuene as a skyn;
आपने ज्योति को वस्त्र समान धारण किया हुआ है; आपने वस्त्र समान आकाश को विस्तीर्ण किया है.
3 and thou hilist with watris the hiyer partis therof. Which settist a cloude thi stiyng; which goest on the fetheris of wyndis.
आपने आकाश के जल के ऊपर ऊपरी कक्ष की धरनें स्थापित की हैं, मेघ आपके रथ हैं तथा आप पवन के पंखों पर यात्रा करते हैं.
4 Which makist spiritis thin aungels; and thi mynystris brennynge fier.
हवा को आपने अपना संदेशवाहक बनाया है, अग्निशिखाएं आपकी परिचारिकाएं हैं.
5 Which hast foundid the erthe on his stablenesse; it schal not be bowid in to the world of world.
आपने ही पृथ्वी को इसकी नींव पर स्थापित किया है; इसे कभी भी सरकाया नहीं जा सकता.
6 The depthe of watris as a cloth is the clothing therof; watris schulen stonde on hillis.
आपने गहन जल के आवरण से इसे परिधान समान सुशोभित किया; जल स्तर पर्वतों से ऊंचा उठ गया था.
7 Tho schulen fle fro thi blamyng; men schulen be aferd of the vois of thi thundur.
किंतु जब आपने फटकार लगाई, तब जल हट गया, आपके गर्जन समान आदेश से जल-राशियां भाग खड़ी हुई;
8 Hillis stien vp, and feeldis goen doun; in to the place which thou hast foundid to tho.
जब पर्वतों की ऊंचाई बढ़ी, तो घाटियां गहरी होती गईं, ठीक आपके नियोजन के अनुरूप निर्धारित स्थान पर.
9 Thou hast set a terme, which tho schulen not passe; nether tho schulen be turned, for to hile the erthe.
आपके द्वारा उनके लिए निर्धारित सीमा ऐसी थी; जिसका अतिक्रमण उनके लिए संभव न था; और वे पृथ्वी को पुनः जलमग्न न कर सकें.
10 And thou sendist out wellis in grete valeis; watris schulen passe bitwix the myddil of hillis.
आप ही के सामर्थ्य से घाटियों में झरने फूट पड़ते हैं; और पर्वतों के मध्य से जलधाराएं बहने लगती हैं.
11 Alle the beestis of the feeld schulen drynke; wielde assis schulen abide in her thirst.
इन्हीं से मैदान के हर एक पशु को पेय जल प्राप्त होता है; तथा वन्य गधे भी प्यास बुझा लेते हैं.
12 Briddis of the eir schulen dwelle on tho; fro the myddis of stoonys thei schulen yyue voices.
इनके तट पर आकाश के पक्षियों का बसेरा होता है; शाखाओं के मध्य से उनकी आवाज निकलती है.
13 And thou moistist hillis of her hiyer thingis; the erthe schal be fillid of the fruyt of thi werkis.
वही अपने आवास के ऊपरी कक्ष से पर्वतों की सिंचाई करते हैं; आप ही के द्वारा उपजाए फलों से पृथ्वी तृप्त है.
14 And thou bringist forth hei to beestis; and eerbe to the seruyce of men. That thou bringe forth breed of the erthe;
वह पशुओं के लिए घास उत्पन्न करते हैं, तथा मनुष्य के श्रम के लिए वनस्पति, कि वह पृथ्वी से आहार प्राप्त कर सके:
15 and that wiyn make glad the herte of men. That he make glad the face with oile; and that breed make stidefast the herte of man.
मनुष्य के हृदय मगन करने के निमित्त द्राक्षारस, मुखमंडल को चमकीला करने के निमित्त तेल, तथा मनुष्य के जीवन को संभालने के निमित्त आहार उत्पन्न होता है.
16 The trees of the feeld schulen be fillid, and the cedris of the Liban, whiche he plauntide;
याहवेह द्वारा लगाए वृक्षों के लिए अर्थात् लबानोन में लगाए देवदार के वृक्षों के लिए जल बड़ी मात्रा में होता है.
17 sparewis schulen make nest there. The hous of the gerfaukun is the leeder of tho;
पक्षियों ने इन वृक्षों में अपने घोंसले बनाए हैं; सारस ने अपना घोंसला चीड़ के वृक्ष में बनाया है.
18 hiye hillis ben refute to hertis; a stoon is refutt to irchouns.
ऊंचे पर्वतों में वन्य बकरियों का निवास है; चट्टानों में चट्टानी बिज्जुओं ने आश्रय लिया है.
19 He made the moone in to tymes; the sunne knewe his goyng doun.
आपने नियत समय के लिए चंद्रमा बनाया है, सूर्य को अपने अस्त होने का स्थान ज्ञात है.
20 Thou hast set derknessis, and nyyt is maad; alle beestis of the wode schulen go ther ynne.
आपने अंधकार का प्रबंध किया, कि रात्रि हो, जिस समय वन्य पशु चलने फिरने को निकल पड़ते हैं.
21 Liouns whelpis rorynge for to rauysche; and to seke of God meete to hem silf.
अपने शिकार के लिए पुष्ट सिंह गरजनेवाले हैं, वे परमेश्वर से अपने भोजन खोजते हैं.
22 The sunne is risun, and tho ben gaderid togidere; and tho schulen be set in her couchis.
सूर्योदय के साथ ही वे चुपचाप छिप जाते हैं; और अपनी-अपनी मांदों में जाकर सो जाते हैं.
23 A man schal go out to his werk; and to his worching, til to the euentid.
इस समय मनुष्य अपने-अपने कार्यों के लिए निकल पड़ते हैं, वे संध्या तक अपने कार्यों में परिश्रम करते रहते हैं.
24 Lord, thi werkis ben magnefiede ful myche, thou hast maad alle thingis in wisdom; the erthe is fillid with thi possessioun.
याहवेह! असंख्य हैं आपके द्वारा निष्पन्न कार्य, आपने अपने अद्भुत ज्ञान में इन सब की रचना की है; समस्त पृथ्वी आपके द्वारा रचे प्राणियों से परिपूर्ण हो गई है.
25 This see is greet and large to hondis; there ben crepinge beestis, of which is noon noumbre. Litil beestis with grete;
एक ओर समुद्र है, विस्तृत और गहरा, उसमें भी असंख्य प्राणी चलते फिरते हैं— समस्त जीवित प्राणी हैं, सूक्ष्म भी और विशालकाय भी.
26 schippis schulen passe there. This dragoun which thou hast formyd; for to scorne hym.
इसमें जलयानों का आगमन होता रहता है, साथ ही इसमें विशालकाय जंतु हैं, लिवयाथान, जिसे आपने समुद्र में खेलने के लिए बनाया है.
27 Alle thingis abiden of thee; that thou yyue to hem meete in tyme.
इन सभी की दृष्टि आपकी ओर इसी आशा में लगी रहती है, कि इन्हें आपकी ओर से उपयुक्त अवसर पर आहार प्राप्त होगा.
28 Whanne thou schalt yyue to hem, thei schulen gadere; whanne thou schalt opene thin hond, alle thingis schulen be fillid with goodnesse.
जब आप उन्हें आहार प्रदान करते हैं, वे इसे एकत्र करते हैं; जब आप अपनी मुट्ठी खोलते हैं, उन्हें उत्तम वस्तुएं प्राप्त हो जाती हैं.
29 But whanne thou schalt turne awey the face, thei schulen be disturblid; thou schalt take awei the spirit of them, and thei schulen faile; and thei schulen turne ayen in to her dust.
जब आप उनसे अपना मुख छिपा लेते हैं, वे घबरा जाते हैं; जब आप उनकी श्वास छीन लेते हैं, उनके प्राण पखेरू उड़ जाते हैं और वे उसी धूलि में लौट जाते हैं.
30 Sende out thi spirit, and thei schulen be formed of the newe; and thou schalt renule the face of the erthe.
जब आप अपना पवित्रात्मा प्रेषित करते हैं, उनका उद्भव होता है, उस समय आप पृथ्वी के स्वरूप को नया बना देते हैं.
31 The glorie of the Lord be in to the world; the Lord schal be glad in hise werkis.
याहवेह का तेज सदा-सर्वदा स्थिर रहे; याहवेह की कृतियां उन्हें प्रफुल्लित करती रहें.
32 Which biholdith the erthe, and makith it to tremble; which touchith hillis, and tho smoken.
जब वह पृथ्वी की ओर दृष्टिपात करते हैं, वह थरथरा उठती है, वह पर्वतों का स्पर्श मात्र करते हैं और उनसे धुआं उठने लगता है.
33 I schal singe to the Lord in my lijf; Y schal seie salm to my God, as longe as Y am.
मैं आजीवन याहवेह का गुणगान करता रहूंगा; जब तक मेरा अस्तित्व है, मैं अपने परमेश्वर का स्तवन गान करूंगा.
34 Mi speche be myrie to him; forsothe Y schal delite in the Lord.
मेरा मनन-चिन्तन उनको प्रसन्न करनेवाला हो, क्योंकि याहवेह मेरे परम आनंद का उगम हैं.
35 Synneris faile fro the erthe, and wickid men faile, so that thei be not; my soule, blesse thou the Lord.
पृथ्वी से पापी समाप्त हो जाएं, दुष्ट फिर देखे न जाएं. मेरे प्राण, याहवेह का स्तवन करो. याहवेह का स्तवन हो.
