Psalms 103
1 `Of Dauid. Mi soule, blesse thou the Lord; and alle thingis that ben with ynne me, blesse his hooli name.
दावीद की रचना मेरे प्राण, याहवेह का स्तवन करो; मेरी संपूर्ण आत्मा उनके पवित्र नाम का स्तवन करे.
2 Mi soule, blesse thou the Lord; and nyle thou foryete alle the yeldyngis of him.
मेरे प्राण, याहवेह का स्तवन करो, उनके किसी भी उपकार को न भूलो.
3 Which doith merci to alle thi wickidnessis; which heelith alle thi sijknessis.
वह तेरे सब अपराध क्षमा करते तथा तेरे सब रोग को चंगा करते हैं.
4 Which ayenbieth thi lijf fro deth; which corowneth thee in merci and merciful doyngis.
वही तेरे जीवन को गड्ढे से छुड़ा लेते हैं तथा तुझे करुणा-प्रेम एवं मनोहरता से सुशोभित करते हैं.
5 Which fillith thi desijr in goodis; thi yongthe schal be renulid as the yongthe of an egle.
वह तेरी अभिलाषाओं को मात्र उत्कृष्ट वस्तुओं से ही तृप्त करते हैं, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप तेरी जवानी गरुड़-समान नई हो जाती है.
6 The Lord doynge mercies; and doom to alle men suffringe wrong.
याहवेह सभी दुःखितों के निमित्त धर्म एवं न्यायसंगतता के कार्य करते हैं.
7 He made hise weies knowun to Moises; hise willis to the sones of Israel.
उन्होंने मोशेह को अपनी नीति स्पष्ट की, तथा इस्राएल राष्ट्र के सामने अपना अद्भुत कृत्य:
8 The Lord is merciful doer, and merciful in wille; longe abidinge, and myche merciful.
याहवेह करुणामय, कृपानिधान, क्रोध में विलंबी तथा करुणा-प्रेम में समृद्ध हैं.
9 He schal not be wrooth with outen ende; and he schal not thretne with outen ende.
वह हम पर निरंतर आरोप नहीं लगाते रहेंगे, और न ही हम पर उनकी अप्रसन्नता स्थायी बनी रहेगी;
10 He dide not to vs aftir oure synnes; nether he yeldide to vs aftir oure wickidnessis.
उन्होंने हमें न तो हमारे अपराधों के लिए निर्धारित दंड दिया और न ही उन्होंने हमारे अधर्मों का प्रतिफल हमें दिया है.
11 For bi the hiynesse of heuene fro erthe; he made strong his merci on men dredynge hym.
क्योंकि आकाश पृथ्वी से जितना ऊपर है, उतना ही महान है उनका करुणा-प्रेम उनके श्रद्धालुओं के लिए.
12 As myche as the eest is fer fro the west; he made fer oure wickidnessis fro vs.
पूर्व और पश्चिम के मध्य जितनी दूरी है, उन्होंने हमारे अपराध हमसे उतने ही दूर कर दिए हैं.
13 As a fadir hath merci on sones, the Lord hadde merci on men dredynge him;
जैसे पिता की मनोहरता उसकी संतान पर होती है, वैसे ही याहवेह की मनोहरता उनके श्रद्धालुओं पर स्थिर रहती है;
14 for he knewe oure makyng.
क्योंकि उन्हें हमारी सृष्टि ज्ञात है, उन्हें स्मरण रहता है कि हम मात्र धूल ही हैं.
15 He bithouyte that we ben dust, a man is as hey; his dai schal flowre out so as a flour of the feeld.
मनुष्य से संबंधित बातें यह है, कि उसका जीवन घास समान है, वह मैदान के पुष्प समान खिलता है,
16 For the spirit schal passe in hym, and schal not abide; and schal no more knowe his place.
उस पर उष्ण हवा का प्रवाह होता है और वह नष्ट हो जाता है, किसी को यह स्मरण तक नहीं रह जाता, कि पुष्प किस स्थान पर खिला था,
17 But the merci of the Lord is fro with out bigynnyng, and til in to with outen ende; on men dredinge hym. And his riytfulnesse is in to the sones of sones;
किंतु याहवेह का करुणा-प्रेम उनके श्रद्धालुओं पर अनादि से अनंत तक, तथा परमेश्वर की धार्मिकता उनकी संतान की संतान पर स्थिर बनी रहती है.
18 to hem that kepen his testament. And ben myndeful of hise comaundementis; to do tho.
जो उनकी वाचा का पालन करते तथा उनके आदेशों का पालन करना याद रखते हैं.
19 The Lord hath maad redi his seete in heuene; and his rewme schal be lord of alle.
याहवेह ने अपना सिंहासन स्वर्ग में स्थापित किया है, समस्त बनाई वस्तुओं पर उनका शासन है.
20 Aungels of the Lord, blesse ye the Lord; ye myyti in vertu, doynge his word, to here the vois of hise wordis.
तुम, जो उनके स्वर्गदूत हो, याहवेह का स्तवन करो, तुम जो शक्तिशाली हो, तुम उनके आदेशों का पालन करते हो, उनके मुख से निकले वचन को पूर्ण करते हो.
21 Alle vertues of the Lord, blesse ye the Lord; ye mynystris of hym that doen his wille.
स्वर्ग की संपूर्ण सेना और तुम, जो उनके सेवक हो, और जो उनकी इच्छा की पूर्ति करते हो, याहवेह का स्तवन करो.
22 Alle werkis of the Lord, blesse ye the Lord, in ech place of his lordschipe; my soule, blesse thou the Lord.
उनकी समस्त सृष्टि, जो समस्त रचना में व्याप्त हैं, याहवेह का स्तवन करें. मेरे प्राण, याहवेह का स्तवन करो.
