Proverbs 1
1 The parablis of Salomon, the sone of Dauid, king of Israel;
၁ပညာတရား ၊ နည်း ဥပဒေသတရားကိုသိ ၍၊ ဉာဏ် နှင့်ယှဉ်သောစကား ကိုနားလည် မည်အကြောင်း ၊
2 to kunne wisdom and kunnyng;
၂ပညာ သွန်သင်ခြင်း၊ ဖြောင့်မတ် စွာကျင့်ခြင်း၊ တရားသဖြင့်
3 to vndurstonde the wordis of prudence; and to take the lernyng of teching; to take riytfulnesse, and dom, and equyte;
၃စီရင်ခြင်း၊ လျစ်လျူ စွာဆုံးဖြတ်ခြင်းအမှုအရာ၌လေ့ကျက် မည်အကြောင်း၊ မိုက် သောသူသည်လိမ္မာ ၍၊ လူပျို သည်ပညာသတိ နှင့်ပြည့်စုံမည်အကြောင်း၊
4 that felnesse be youun to litle children, and kunnyng, and vndurstonding to a yong wexynge man.
၄ဒါဝိဒ် ၏သား တော်ဖြစ်သော ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ရှောလမုန် စီရင်သော သုတ္တံစကား ဟူမူကား၊
5 A wise man heringe schal be wisere; and a man vndurstondinge schal holde gouernails.
၅ပညာရှိ သောသူသည် နားထောင် သဖြင့် ၊ ပညာ အတတ်တိုးပွါး ရလိမ့်မည်။
6 He schal perseyue a parable, and expownyng; the wordis of wise men, and the derk figuratif spechis of hem.
၆ဉာဏ်ကောင်း သောသူသည် သုတ္တံ စကားအနက်အဓိပ္ပါယ်ကို၎င်း၊ ပညာရှိ ဟောပြော ၍ နက်နဲ သောစကားတို့ကို၎င်း၊ နားလည် သောနိဿရည်းဆရာအဖြစ်သို့ ရောက် ရလိမ့်မည်။
7 The drede of the Lord is the bigynning of wisdom; foolis dispisen wisdom and teching.
၇ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ သောသဘောသည် ပညာ ၏အချုပ် အခြာဖြစ်၏။ လူမိုက် တို့သည် ပညာ နှင့် ဥပဒေသ ကို မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုတတ်ကြ၏။
8 My sone, here thou the teching of thi fadir, and forsake thou not the lawe of thi modir;
၈ငါ့ သား ၊ အဘ ၏နည်း ဥပဒေသကို နားထောင် လော့။ အမိ ၏တရား ကိုလည်း မ ပယ် နှင့်။
9 that grace be addid, ethir encreessid, to thin heed, and a bie to thi necke.
၉ထိုနည်းဥပဒေသတရားတို့သည် သင် ၏ခေါင်း ၌ တင့်တယ် သော ဦးရစ် ၊ သင် ၏လည်ပင်း ၌ ပတ်ရစ်သော လည်ဆွဲ ဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။
10 Mi sone, if synneris flateren thee, assente thou not to hem.
၁၀ငါ့ သား ၊ လူဆိုး တို့သည် သင့် ကိုသွေးဆောင် လျှင် ဝန် မ ခံနှင့်။
11 If thei seien, Come thou with vs, sette we aspies to blood, hide we snaris of disseitis ayens an innocent without cause;
၁၁သူတို့က ငါ တို့နှင့်အတူ လိုက် တော့။ သူ့အသက် ကို သတ်အံ့သောငှါစောင့် ကြစို့။ အချည်းနှီး အပြစ် လွတ် သောသူတို့ ကို ချောင်းမြောင်း ကြစို့။
12 swolowe we him, as helle swolowith a man lyuynge; and al hool, as goynge doun in to a lake; we schulen fynde al preciouse catel, (Sheol h7585)
၁၂သင်္ချိုင်းတွင်း သို့ဆင်း သောသူတို့ ကဲ့သို့ တကိုယ်လုံး ပါ လျက်၊ အသက်ရှင် လျက်ရှိသောထိုသူ တို့ကို မရဏာ နိုင်ငံမျိုသကဲ့သို့ မျို ကြစို့။ (Sheol h7585)
13 we schulen fille oure housis with spuylis; sende thou lot with vs,
၁၃အဘိုး ထိုက်သော ဘဏ္ဍာ အမျိုးမျိုး ကိုတွေ့ ၍ လုယူသောဥစ္စာ နှင့် ငါ တို့အိမ် ကိုပြည့် စေကြမည်။
14 o purs be of vs alle;
၁၄ငါတို့နှင့် ပေါင်းဘော်တော့။ ရသောဥစ္စာကို အညီအမျှ ပိုင်ကြစို့ဟုဆိုသော်လည်း၊
15 my sone, go thou not with hem; forbede thi foot fro the pathis of hem.
၁၅ငါ့ သား ၊ သူ တို့နှင့်အတူ မ လိုက် နှင့်။ သူ တို့သွားသောလမ်း ကို ရှောင် လော့။
16 For the feet of hem rennen to yuel; and thei hasten to schede out blood.
၁၆အကြောင်း မူကား၊ သူ တို့ခြေ သည် ဒုစရိုက် ပြုရာ သို့ ပြေး ၍ ၊ လူအသက် ကို သတ် ခြင်းငှါ လျင်မြန် ၏။
17 But a net is leid in veyn bifore the iyen of briddis, that han wengis.
၁၇အကယ် စင်စစ်ငှက် မျက်မှောက် ၌ ပိုက်ကွန် ကို ဖြန့် ထားလျှင် အကြံ မမြောက်ရာ။
18 Also `thilke wickid disseyueris setten aspies ayens her owne blood; and maken redi fraudis ayens her soulis.
၁၈လူဆိုး တို့သည် ကိုယ် အသွေး ကို သွန်အံ့သောငှါစောင့်၍၊ ကိုယ် အသက် ကိုသတ် အံ့သောငှါချောင်းမြောင်း တတ်ကြ၏။
19 So the pathis of ech auerouse man rauyschen the soulis of hem that welden.
၁၉မ တရားသောစီးပွါးကို ရှာ သောသူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ထိုသို့ သော အကျိုး ကိုခံရ၍၊ ထိုစီးပွါးသည် မိမိ အရှင် ၏အသက် ကိုသတ် တတ်၏။
20 Wisdom prechith with outforth; in stretis it yyueth his vois.
၂၀ပညာ သည်ပြင် မှာ ကြွေးကြော် ၍၊ လမ်းခရီး တို့၌ မိမိ စကား သံကို လွှင့် တတ်၏။
21 It crieth ofte in the heed of cumpenyes; in the leeues of yatis of the citee it bringith forth hise wordis,
၂၁လူ စည်းဝေးရာ အဦး ၌ ၎င်း၊ မြို့ တံခါးဝ တို့၌ ၎င်း၊ မြို့ ထဲ ၌၎င်း ခေါ် ၍မြွက်ဆို သောစကား ဟူမူကား၊
22 and seith, Hou long, ye litle men in wit, louen yong childhod, and foolis schulen coueyte tho thingis, that ben harmful to hem silf, and vnprudent men schulen hate kunnyng?
၂၂အိုလူမိုက် တို့၊ သင်တို့သည်မိုက် သောအကျင့်ကို နှစ်သက် လျက် ၊ ကဲ့ရဲ့ သောသူတို့သည် ကဲ့ရဲ့ ခြင်း၌ မွေ့လျော် လျက် ၊ မိုက်မဲ သောသူတို့သည် ပညာ အတတ်ကို မုန်း လျက်၊ အဘယ် မျှကာလ ပတ်လုံးနေကြလိမ့်မည်နည်း။
23 Be ye conuertid at my repreuyng; lo, Y schal profre forth to you my spirit, and Y schal schewe my wordis.
၂၃ငါ ဆုံးမ သော စကားကို နားထောင် ၍ ပြောင်းလဲ ကြလော့။ ငါ့ ဝိညာဉ် ကို သင် တို့အပေါ် သို့ ငါသွန်းလောင်း ၍၊ ငါ့ စကား ၏အနက်အဓိပ္ပါယ်ကို နားလည် စေမည်။
24 For Y clepide, and ye forsoken; Y helde forth myn hond, and noon was that bihelde.
၂၄ငါသည်ခေါ် ၍ သင်တို့သည် ငြင်းပယ် သောကြောင့် ၎င်း၊ ငါ့ လက် ကိုဆန့် ၍ အဘယ်သူ မျှမမှတ် သောကြောင့် ၎င်း၊
25 Ye dispisiden al my councel; and chargiden not my blamyngis.
၂၅ငါ သတိ ပေးခြင်းရှိသမျှ ကို သင်တို့သည်ပယ် ၍ ၊ ငါ ဆုံးမ သော စကားတခွန်းကိုမျှ နာ မ ခံဘဲနေသောကြောင့် ၎င်း၊
26 And Y schal leiye in youre perisching; and Y schal scorne you, whanne that, that ye dreden, cometh to you.
၂၆သင် တို့သည် ဘေး ဥပဒ်နှင့် တွေ့ကြုံသောအခါ ငါရယ် မည်။ ကြောက်မက် ဖွယ်သော အမှုရောက် သောအခါ ငါပြက်ယယ် ပြုမည်။
27 Whanne sodeyne wretchidnesse fallith in, and perisching bifallith as tempest; whanne tribulacioun and angwisch cometh on you.
၂၇သင် တို့ကြောက်မက် ဘွယ်သော အမှုသည်သုတ်သင် ပယ်ရှင်းခြင်းအမှုကဲ့သို့ ၎င်း၊ သင် တို့ပျက်စီး ခြင်း အမှုသည် လေပြင်း မုန်တိုင်းကဲ့သို့ ၎င်း ရောက် လာ၍ ၊ သင် တို့သည်ဆင်းရဲ ခြင်း၊ ပူပန် ခြင်းနှင့် တွေ့ကြုံ သောအခါ ၊
28 Thanne thei schulen clepe me, and Y schal not here; thei schulen rise eerli, and thei schulen not fynde me.
၂၈ထို အမှုရောက်သောသူတို့သည် ငါ့ ကိုခေါ် သော်လည်း ငါမ ထူး။ ငါ့ ကို ကြိုးစား၍ ရှာ သော်လည်း မ တွေ့ ရကြ။
29 For thei hatiden teching, and thei token not the drede of the Lord,
၂၉အကြောင်း မူကား၊ သူတို့သည် ပညာ အတတ်ကိုမုန်း ကြ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ သော သဘောကို အလို မ ရှိကြ။
30 nether assentiden to my councel, and depraueden al myn amendyng.
၃၀ငါ သတိ ပေးခြင်းကို အလျှင်းနာ မ ခံကြ။ ငါ ဆုံးမ ခြင်းရှိသမျှ ကို မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုကြ၏။
31 Therfor thei schulen ete the fruytis of her weie; and thei schulen be fillid with her counseils.
၃၁ထိုကြောင့် သူတို့သည် ကိုယ် ကျင့် ခြင်း၏ အကျိုး အပြစ်ကို စား ၍ ၊ ကိုယ် ကြံသော အကြံ တို့နှင့် ဝ ကြလိမ့်မည်။
32 The turnyng awei of litle men in wit schal sle hem; and the prosperite of foolis schal leese hem.
၃၂ဉာဏ် တိမ်သောသူတို့သည် လမ်းလွဲ သဖြင့် အသက် ဆုံးတတ်ကြ၏။ မိုက် သောသူတို့သည် သတိလစ် သောအားဖြင့် ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်တတ်ကြ၏။
33 But he that herith me, schal reste with outen drede; and he schal vse abundaunce, whanne the drede of yuels is takun awei.
၃၃ငါ့ စကားကို နားထောင် သောသူမူကား လုံခြုံ စွာ နေ ၍ ၊ ဘေး ကို မ ကြောက်ဘဲငြိမ်ဝပ် လိမ့်မည်။
