Proverbs 8
1 Whether wisdom crieth not ofte; and prudence yyueth his vois?
௧ஞானம் கூப்பிடுகிறதில்லையோ? புத்தி சத்தமிடுகிறதில்லையோ?
2 In souereyneste and hiy coppis, aboue the weie, in the myddis of pathis,
௨அது வழியருகே உள்ள மேடைகளிலும், நான்கு சந்திப்புகளிலும் நிற்கிறது.
3 and it stondith bisidis the yate of the citee, in thilke closyngis, and spekith, and seith, A!
௩அது ஊர்வாசல்களின் ஓரத்திலும், பட்டணத்தின் வாசலிலும், நடை கூடங்களிலும் நின்று சத்தமிட்டு:
4 ye men, Y crie ofte to you; and my vois is to the sones of men.
௪மனிதர்களே, உங்களை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறேன்; என்னுடைய சத்தம் மனுமக்களுக்குத் தொனிக்கும்.
5 Litle children, vndirstonde ye wisdom; and ye vnwise men, `perseyue wisdom.
௫பேதைகளே, விவேகம் அடையுங்கள்; மூடர்களே, புத்தியுள்ள சிந்தையாக இருங்கள்.
6 Here ye, for Y schal speke of grete thingis; and my lippis schulen be openyd, to preche riytful thingis.
௬கேளுங்கள், மேன்மையான காரியங்களைப் பேசுவேன்; என்னுடைய உதடுகள் உத்தம காரியங்களை வசனிக்கும்.
7 My throte schal bithenke treuthe; and my lippis schulen curse a wickid man.
௭என்னுடைய வாய் சத்தியத்தைச் சொல்லும், ஏளனம் என்னுடைய உதடுகளுக்கு அருவருப்பானது.
8 My wordis ben iust; no schrewid thing, nether weiward is in tho.
௮என்னுடைய வாயின் வாக்குகளெல்லாம் நீதியானவைகள்; அவைகளில் புரட்டும் விபரீதமும் இல்லை.
9 `My wordis ben riytful to hem that vndurstonden; and ben euene to hem that fynden kunnyng.
௯அவைகளெல்லாம் புத்தியுள்ளவனுக்குத் தெளிவும், ஞானத்தைப் பெற்றவர்களுக்கு எதார்த்தமாகவும் இருக்கும்.
10 Take ye my chastisyng, and not money; chese ye teching more than tresour.
௧0வெள்ளியைவிட என்னுடைய புத்திமதியையும், சுத்தபொன்னைவிட ஞானத்தையும் அங்கீகரித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
11 For wisdom is betere than alle richessis moost preciouse; and al desirable thing mai not be comparisound therto.
௧௧முத்துக்களைவிட ஞானமே நல்லது; ஆசைப்படத்தக்கவைகள் எல்லாம் அதற்கு நிகரல்ல.
12 Y, wisdom, dwelle in counsel; and Y am among lernyd thouytis.
௧௨ஞானமாகிய நான் விவேகத்தோடு தங்கி, நல்யுக்தியான அறிவுகளைக் கண்டடைகிறேன்.
13 The drede of the Lord hatith yuel; Y curse boost, and pride, and a schrewid weie, and a double tungid mouth.
௧௩தீமையை வெறுப்பதே யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயப்படும் பயம்; பெருமையையும், அகந்தையையும், தீய வழியையும், மாறுபாடுள்ள வாயையும் நான் வெறுக்கிறேன்.
14 Counseil is myn, and equyte `is myn; prudence is myn, and strengthe `is myn.
௧௪ஆலோசனையும் மெய்ஞானமும் என்னுடையவைகள்; நானே புத்தி, வல்லமை என்னுடையது.
15 Kyngis regnen bi me; and the makeris of lawis demen iust thingis bi me.
௧௫என்னாலே ராஜாக்கள் அரசாளுகிறார்கள், பிரபுக்கள் நீதிசெலுத்துகிறார்கள்.
16 Princis comaunden bi me; and myyti men demen riytfulnesse bi me.
௧௬என்னாலே அதிகாரிகளும், பிரபுக்களும், பூமியிலுள்ள எல்லா நியாயாதிபதிகளும் ஆளுகை செய்துவருகிறார்கள்.
17 I loue hem that louen me; and thei that waken eerli to me, schulen fynde me.
௧௭என்னை நேசிக்கிறவர்களை நான் நேசிக்கிறேன்; அதிகாலையில் என்னைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் என்னைக் கண்டடைவார்கள்.
18 With me ben rychessis, and glorie; souereyn richessis, and riytfulnesse.
௧௮செல்வமும், கனமும், நிலையான பொருளும், நீதியும் என்னிடத்தில் உண்டு.
19 My fruyt is betere than gold, and precyouse stoon; and my seedis ben betere than chosun siluer.
௧௯பொன்னையும் தங்கத்தையும்விட என்னுடைய பலன் நல்லது; சுத்த வெள்ளியைவிட என்னுடைய வருமானம் நல்லது.
20 Y go in the weies of riytfulnesse, in the myddis of pathis of doom;
௨0என்னை நேசிக்கிறவர்கள் மெய்ப்பொருளை பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கும், அவர்களுடைய களஞ்சியங்களை நான் நிரப்பும்படிக்கும்,
21 that Y make riche hem that louen me, and that Y fille her tresouris.
௨௧அவர்களை நீதியின் வழியிலும், நியாயபாதைகளுக்குள்ளும் நடத்துகிறேன்.
22 The Lord weldide me in the bigynnyng of hise weies; bifore that he made ony thing, at the bigynnyng.
௨௨யெகோவா தமது செயல்களுக்குமுன் ஆரம்பமுதல் என்னைத் தமது வழியின் துவக்கமாகக்கொண்டிருந்தார்.
23 Fro with out bigynnyng Y was ordeined; and fro elde tymes, bifor that the erthe was maad.
௨௩பூமி உண்டாவதற்குமுன்னும், ஆரம்பம்முதற்கொண்டும் அநாதியாய் நான் அபிஷேகம்செய்யப்பட்டேன்.
24 Depthis of watris weren not yit; and Y was conseyued thanne. The wellis of watris hadden not brokun out yit,
௨௪ஆழங்களும், தண்ணீர் புரண்டுவரும் ஊற்றுகளும் உண்டாகுமுன்பே நான் உருவாக்கப்பட்டேன்.
25 and hillis stoden not togidere yit bi sad heuynesse; bifor litil hillis Y was born.
௨௫மலைகள் நிலைபெறுவதற்கு முன்னும், குன்றுகள் உண்டாவதற்கு முன்னும்,
26 Yit he hadde not maad erthe; and floodis, and the herris of the world.
௨௬அவர் பூமியையும் அதின் வெளிகளையும், பூமியிலுள்ள மண்ணின் திரள்களையும் உண்டாக்குமுன்னும் நான் உருவாக்கப்பட்டேன்.
27 Whanne he made redi heuenes, Y was present; whanne he cumpasside the depthis of watris bi certeyn lawe and cumpas.
௨௭அவர் வானங்களைப் படைக்கும்போது நான் அங்கே இருந்தேன்; அவர் சமுத்திர விலாசத்தை குறிக்கும்போதும்,
28 Whanne he made stidfast the eir aboue; and weiede the wellis of watris.
௨௮உயரத்தில் மேகங்களை அமைத்து, சமுத்திரத்தின் ஊற்றுகளை அடைத்துவைக்கும்போதும்,
29 Whanne he cumpasside to the see his marke; and settide lawe to watris, that tho schulden not passe her coostis. Whanne he peiside the foundementis of erthe;
௨௯சமுத்திரத் தண்ணீர் தன்னுடைய கரையைவிட்டு மீறாதபடி அதற்கு எல்லையைக் கட்டளையிட்டு, பூமியின் அஸ்திபாரங்களை நிலைப்படுத்தும்போதும்,
30 Y was making alle thingis with him. And Y delitide bi alle daies, and pleiede bifore hym in al tyme,
௩0நான் அவர் அருகே செல்லப்பிள்ளையாக இருந்தேன்; எப்பொழுதும் அவருடைய மனமகிழ்ச்சியாக இருந்து, எப்பொழுதும் அவருடைய சமுகத்தில் களிகூர்ந்தேன்.
31 and Y pleiede in the world; and my delices ben to be with the sones of men.
௩௧அவருடைய பூவுலகத்தில் சந்தோஷப்பட்டு, மனுமக்களுடனே மகிழ்ந்து கொண்டிருந்தேன்.
32 Now therfor, sones, here ye me; blessid ben thei that kepen my weies.
௩௨ஆதலால் பிள்ளைகளே, எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்; என்னுடைய வழிகளைக் காத்து நடக்கிறவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்.
33 Here ye teching, and be ye wise men; and nile ye caste it awei.
௩௩நீங்கள் புத்தியைக் கேட்டு, ஞானமடையுங்கள்; அதைவிட்டு விலகாமல் இருங்கள்.
34 Blessid is the man that herith me, and that wakith at my yatis al dai; and kepith at the postis of my dore.
௩௪என்னுடைய வாசற்படியில் எப்பொழுதும் விழித்திருந்து, என்னுடைய கதவு நிலை அருகே காத்திருந்து, எனக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிற மனிதன் பாக்கியவான்.
35 He that fyndith me, schal fynde lijf; and schal drawe helthe of the Lord.
௩௫என்னைக் கண்டடைகிறவன் வாழ்வைக் கண்டடைகிறான்; யெகோவாவிடத்தில் தயவையும் பெறுவான்.
36 But he that synneth ayens me, schal hurte his soule; alle that haten me, louen deeth.
௩௬எனக்கு விரோதமாகப் பாவம் செய்கிறவனோ, தன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவைச் சேதப்படுத்துகிறான்; என்னை வெறுக்கிறவர்கள் எல்லோரும் மரணத்தை விரும்புகிறவர்கள் என்று சொல்லுகிறது.
