Proverbs 19
1 Betere is a pore man, that goith in his simplenesse, than a riche man bitynge hise lippis, and vnwijs.
၁ကောက်လိမ် သော စကား ကိုသုံးတတ်သော လူမိုက် ထက် ၊ ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်းလမ်းသို့ လိုက် သော ဆင်းရဲ သူသည်သာ၍ကောင်း ၏။
2 Where is not kunnyng of the soule, is not good; and he that is hasti, in feet hirtith.
၂စိတ် ဝိညာဉ်သည် ပညာ အတတ်မ ရှိဘဲ မ နေကောင်း ။ အလျင် အမြန်သွားသောသူသည် လည်း မှားယွင်း တတ်၏။
3 The foli of a man disseyueth hise steppis; and he brenneth in his soule ayens God.
၃လူ သည် မိုက် သောသဘောကြောင့်၊ လမ်းလွဲ ၍ စိတ် ထဲမှာ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကဲ့ရဲ့ ပြစ်တင်တတ်၏။
4 Richessis encreessen ful many freendis; forsothe also thei ben departid fro a pore man, whiche he hadde.
၄စည်းစိမ် ရှိလျှင် အဆွေ ခင်ပွန်းများ တတ်၏။ ဆင်းရဲ သောသူမူကား ၊ မိမိ အိမ်နီးချင်းနှင့်မျှ မ ပေါင်းဘော် ရ။
5 A fals witnesse schal not be vnpunyschid; and he that spekith leesingis, schal not ascape.
၅မ မှန်သောသက်သေ သည် အပြစ် မခံဘဲမနေရ။ မုသာ ကို သုံး သောသူသည်လည်း ဒဏ်နှင့်မ လွတ် ရ။
6 Many men onouren the persoone of a myyti man; and ben frendis of hym that deelith yiftis.
၆များ သောသူတို့သည် မင်း ကိုဖျောင်းဖျ တတ်ကြ ၏။ လက်ဆောင် ပေးသော သူ ကိုလည်း၊ လူတိုင်း မိတ်ဆွေ ဖွဲ့တတ်၏။
7 The britheren of a pore man haten hym; ferthermore and the freendis yeden awei fer fro hym. He that sueth wordis oonli, schal haue no thing;
၇ဆင်းရဲ သောသူ၏ ညီအစ်ကို ရှိသမျှ တို့သည် သူ့ ကို မုန်း တတ်ကြ၏။ သူ ၏အဆွေ ခင်ပွန်းတို့သည် သူ့ ကို သာ၍ ဝေး စွာရှောင်တတ်ကြ၏။ လိုက် ၍ခေါ်သော်လည်း ကွယ်ပျောက် ကြပြီ။
8 but he that holdith stabli the mynde, loueth his soule, and the kepere of prudence schal fynde goodis.
၈ပညာ ကိုရ သောသူသည် မိမိ အသက် ဝိညာဉ်ကို ချစ် ရာရောက်၏။ ဉာဏ် ကိုစွဲလမ်း သောသူသည်လည်း၊ ကောင်းကျိုး ကို ခံ တတ်၏။
9 A fals witnesse schal not be vnpunyschid; and he that spekith leesyngis, schal perische.
၉မ မှန်သောသက်သေ သည် အပြစ် မခံဘဲမနေရ။ မုသာ ကိုသုံး သောသူသည် လည်း ၊ ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက် လိမ့်မည်။
10 Delices bicomen not a fool; nether `it bicometh a seruaunt to be lord of princes.
၁၀မိုက် သောသူသည် မ ပျော်မွေ့ သင့်။ ထိုမျှမက ၊ ကျွန် သည်မင်း တို့ကို အစိုး မရသင့်။
11 The teching of a man is knowun bi pacience; and his glorie is to passe ouere wickid thingis.
၁၁သမ္မာ သတိရှိသောသူ သည် မိမိ အမျက် ဒေါသ ကို ချုပ်တည်း တတ်၏။ သူတပါးပြစ်မှား ခြင်းကို သည်းခံ သောသူသည်လည်း ဘုန်း အသရေရှိ၏။
12 As the gnasting of a lioun, so and the ire of the king; and as deewe on eerbe, so and the gladnesse of the kyng.
၁၂ရှင်ဘုရင် ၏အမျက် တော်သည် ခြင်္သေ့ ဟောက် သကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်၏။ ကျေးဇူး တော်မူကား ၊ မြက် ပေါ် မှာ ကျသော နှင်းရည် ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်၏။
13 The sorewe of the fadir is a fonned sone; and roofes droppynge contynueli is a womman ful of chiding.
၁၃မိုက် သော သား သည် အဘ ဆင်းရဲ စရာ အကြောင်း ဖြစ်၏။ ရန်တွေ့ တတ်သောမယား သည်လည်း ၊ အစက် စက်ကျသော မိုဃ်း ပေါက်နှင့်တူ၏။
14 Housis and richessis ben youun of fadir and modir; but a prudent wijf is youun propirli of the Lord.
၁၄အိမ် နှင့် စည်းစိမ် သည် မိဘ အမွေ ဥစ္စာဖြစ်၏။ သမ္မာ သတိရှိသောမယား မူကား ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ပေးသနား တော်မူရာ ဖြစ်၏။
15 Slouth bringith in sleep; and a negligent soule schal haue hungur.
၁၅ပျင်းရိ သော သဘောသည် လွန်ကျူး စွာ အိပ်ပျော် စေ၍ ၊ ပျင်းရိ သောသူသည် အငတ် ခံရ၏။
16 He that kepith the comaundement of God, kepith his soule; but he that chargith not his weie, schal be slayn.
၁၆ပညတ် တရားကို စောင့် သောသူသည် မိမိ အသက် ဝိညာဉ်ကို စောင့် ရာရောက်၏။ မိမိ သွားရာလမ်း တို့ကို မထီလေးစား ပြုသောသူမူကား၊ အသေ ခံရ၏။
17 He that hath mercy on a pore man, leeneth to the Lord; and he schal yelde his while to hym.
၁၇ဆင်းရဲ သားကို သနား သောသူသည် ထာဝရ ဘုရား အား ချေးငှါး သောသူဖြစ်၍ ၊ သူ ပြုသောအမှု ၏ အကျိုးကိုဆပ် ပေးတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။
18 Teche thi sone, and dispeire thou not; but sette thou not thi soule to the sleyng of hym.
၁၈မြော်လင့် စရာရှိ စဉ်အခါ ၊ ကိုယ် သား ကို ဆုံးမ လော့။ သူ့ ကိုအကျိုး နည်းအောင် သနား သောစိတ်မ ရှိစေနှင့်။
19 Forsothe he that is vnpacient, schal suffre harm; and whanne he hath rauyschid, he schal leie to anothir thing.
၁၉ဒေါသ အမျက်ကြီး သောသူသည် အပြစ်ဒဏ် ကိုခံရလိမ့်မည်။ သူ့ကိုကယ်နှုတ် လျှင် အဖန်ဖန် ကယ်နှုတ်ရမည်။
20 Here thou counsel, and take thou doctryn; that thou be wijs in thi laste thingis.
၂၀နောက်ဆုံး ကာလ၌ ပညာရှိ ဖြစ်လိုသောငှါ ၊ ဆုံးမ သော စကားကို နားထောင် ၍ နည်းဥပဒေသ ကို ခံယူ လော့။
21 Many thouytis ben in the herte of a man; but the wille of the Lord schal dwelle.
၂၁လူ သည်အထူးထူး အပြားပြားကြံစည် တတ်၏။ သို့ရာတွင် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏အကြံ တော်သည် တည် လိမ့်မည်။
22 A nedi man is merciful; and betere is a pore iust man, than a man liere.
၂၂လူ သည်စေတနာ ရှိလျှင် ကျေးဇူး ပြုရာ ရောက်၏။ ဆင်းရဲ သောသူသည်လည်း ၊ မုသာ သုံးသော သူ ထက် သာ၍ကောင်း ၏။
23 The drede of the Lord ledith to lijf `of blis; and he `that dredith God schal dwelle in plentee, with outen visityng `of the worste.
၂၃ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ သောသဘောသည် အသက်ရှင် ခြင်းနှင့်ဆိုင်သည်ဖြစ်၍ ထိုသဘောရှိသောသူသည် အလို ဆန္ဒပြည့်စုံလျက်ရှိ၍၊ ဘေးဥပဒ် နှင့်ကင်းလွတ် လိမ့်မည်။
24 A slow man hidith his hond vndur the armpit; and putteth it not to his mouth.
၂၄ပျင်းရိ သောသူသည်မိမိ လက် ကို အိုး ၌ သွင်း သော်လည်း တဖန်နှုတ် ၍ မိမိ ပစပ် သို့ မ ခွံ့လို။
25 Whanne a man ful of pestilence is betun, a fool schal be wisere. If thou blamist a wijs man, he schal vndurstonde techyng.
၂၅မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုသောသူကို ရိုက် လျှင် ဉာဏ် တိမ် သောသူသည် သတိ ရလိမ့်မည်။ ဉာဏ် ကောင်းသော သူကို ဆုံးမ လျှင် ၊ သူသည် ပညာ တရားကို နားလည် လိမ့်မည်။
26 He that turmentith the fadir, and fleeth fro the modir, schal be ful of yuel fame, and schal be cursid.
၂၆အဘ ဥစ္စာ ကိုဖြုန်း၍ အမိ ကိုနှင်ထုတ် သော သားသည် အရှက်ခွဲ သောသား၊ ကဲ့ရဲ့ ခြင်းကိုခံစေသော သားဖြစ်၏။
27 Sone, ceesse thou not to here techyng; and knowe thou the wordis of kunnyng.
၂၇ငါ့ သား ၊ ပညာ တရားကို ပယ် စေခြင်းငှါ ၊ သွန်သင် သောသူ ၏စကား ကို နား မ ထောင်နှင့်။
28 A wickid witnesse scorneth doom; and the mouth of vnpitouse men deuourith wickidnesse.
၂၈အဓမ္မ သက်သေ သည် တရား ကို မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုတတ်၏။ မ တရားသောသူသည် လည်း ၊ ဒုစရိုက် ကို စား ၍ မျို တတ်၏။
29 Domes ben maad redi to scorneris; and hameris smytynge ben maad redi to the bodies of foolis.
၂၉မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုသောသူတို့အဘို့ အပြစ် စီရင်ခြင်း၊ မိုက် သောသူတို့ ၏ကျော အဘို့ ဒဏ် ပေးခြင်းသည် အသင့် ရှိ၏။
