Proverbs 15
1 A soft answere brekith ire; an hard word reisith woodnesse.
၁ဖြည်းညှင်းသော စကားသည် စိတ်ကိုဖြေတတ် ၏။ ကြမ်းတမ်းသောစကားမူကား၊ အမျက်ကို နှိုးဆော် တတ်၏။
2 The tunge of wise men ourneth kunnyng; the mouth of foolis buylith out foli.
၂ပညာရှိသော သူ၏လျှာသည် ပညာအတတ်ကို တင့်တယ်စေတတ်၏။ မိုက်သောသူတို့၏ နှုတ်မူကား၊ မိုက်သောအရာကို သွန်းလောင်းတတ်၏။
3 In ech place the iyen of the Lord biholden good men, and yuel men.
၃ထာဝရဘုရား၏မျက်စိတော်သည် ခပ်သိမ်း သောအရပ်၌ရှိ၍၊ ကောင်းမကောင်းကို ကြည့်ရှုတော်မူ ၏။
4 A plesaunt tunge is the tre of lijf; but the tunge which is vnmesurable, schal defoule the spirit.
၄ဖြည်းညှင်းသောလျှာသည် အသက်ဖြစ်၏။ ကြမ်းတမ်းသော လျှာမူကား စိတ်နာစေတတ်၏။
5 A fool scorneth the techyng of his fadir; but he that kepith blamyngis, schal be maad wisere. Moost vertu schal be in plenteuouse riytfulnesse; but the thouytis of wickid men schulen be drawun vp bi the roote.
၅မိုက်သောသူသည် အဘသွန်သင်ခြင်းကို မထီမဲ့ မြင်ပြုတတ်၏။ ဆုံးမသော စကားကို နားထောင်သော သူမူကား၊ သမ္မာသတိနှင့်ပြည့်စုံတတ်၏။
6 The hous of a iust man is moost strengthe; and disturbling is in the fruitis of a wickid man.
၆ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူ၏ အိမ်၌များစွာသော စည်းစိမ်ရှိ၏။ မတရားသော သူခံရသောအခွန်မူကား၊ များစွာသော နှောင့်ရှက်ခြင်းနှင့်ယှဉ်၏။
7 The lippis of wise men schulen sowe abrood kunnyng; the herte of foolis schal be vnlijc.
၇ပညာရှိသော သူ၏နှုတ်ခမ်းတို့သည် ပညာ အတတ်ကို စွန့်ကြဲတတ်၏။ မိုက်သောသူ၏ နှလုံးမူကား ပညာမရှိ။
8 The sacrifices of wickyd men ben abhomynable to the Lord; avowis of iust men ben plesaunt.
၈မတရားသောသူ ပူဇော်သောယဇ်ကို ထာဝရ ဘုရားစက်ဆုပ် ရွံ့ရှာတော်မူ၏။ သဘောဖြောင့်သောသူ ဆုတောင်းသော ပဌနာကိုကား၊ နှစ်သက်တော်မူ၏။
9 The lijf of the vnpitouse man is abhomynacioun to the Lord; he that sueth riytfulnesse, schal be loued of the Lord.
၉မတရားသော သူလိုက်သောလမ်းကို ထာဝရ ဘုရားစက်ဆုပ်ရွံရှာတော်မူ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်း တရား လမ်းသို့ လိုက်သောသူကိုကား ချစ်တော်မူ၏။
10 Yuel teching is of men forsakinge the weie of lijf; he that hatith blamyngis, schal die.
၁၀လမ်းလွှဲသောသူသည် ဆုံးမသောစကားကို နားမခံလို။ သို့သော်လည်း၊ အပြစ်တင်ခြင်းကို မုန်းသော သူသည် သေရမည်။
11 Helle and perdicioun ben open bifor the Lord; hou myche more the hertis of sones of men. (Sheol h7585)
၁၁မရဏာနိုင်ငံနှင့်အဗဒ္ဒုန်နိုင်ငံသည် ထာဝရ ဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ ထင်ရှား၏။ ထိုမျှမက၊ လူသားတို့၏ နှလုံးသည် သာ၍ထင်ရှား၏။ (Sheol h7585)
12 A man ful of pestilence loueth not hym that repreueth him; and he goith not to wyse men.
၁၂မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုသောသူသည် အပြစ်ပြသောသူကို မချစ်တတ်။ ပညာရှိထံသို့ မချဉ်းကပ်တတ်။
13 A ioiful herte makith glad the face; the spirit is cast doun in the morenyng of soule.
၁၃ရွှင်လန်းသောစိတ်နှလုံးသည် ချိုသောမျက်နှာ ကို ဖြစ်စေတတ်၏။ ညှိုးငယ်ခြင်းအားဖြင့်ကား၊ စိတ်ပျက် တတ်၏။
14 The herte of a wijs man sekith techyng; and the mouth of foolis is fed with vnkunnyng.
၁၄ဥာဏ်ကောင်းသောသူ၏ စိတ်နှလုံးသည် ပညာ အတတ်ကို ရှာတတ်၏။ မိုက်သောသူတို့၏ နှုတ်မူကား၊ မိုက်ခြင်းကို ကျက်စားတတ်၏။
15 Alle the daies of a pore man ben yuele; a sikir soule is a contynuel feeste.
၁၅ဆင်းရဲငြိုငြင်သောသူ၏ နေ့ရက်ရှိသမျှတို့သည် ဆိုးယုတ်ကြ၏။ ရွှင်လန်းသောစိတ်နှလုံးမူကား၊ အစဉ် အမြဲခံရသောပွဲဖြစ်၏။
16 Betere is a litil with the drede of the Lord, than many tresouris and vnfillable.
၁၆နှောင့်ရှက်ခြင်းနှင့်ယှဉ်၍ ကြီးစွာသော စည်းစိမ် ထက် ထာဝရဘုရားကိုကြောက်ရွံ့ခြင်းနှင့် ယှဉ်သောဥစ္စာ အနည်းငယ်သည် သာ၍ကောင်း၏။
17 It is betere to be clepid to wortis with charite, than with hatrede to a calf maad fat.
၁၇ဆူအောင်ကျွေးသော နွားတကောင်လုံးကို အချင်းချင်း အငြိုးထားသောစိတ်နှင့်စားရသည်ထက်၊ ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာပါသော ဟင်းရွက်တနပ် စာသည်သာ၍ ကောင်း၏။
18 A wrathful man reisith chidyngis; he that is pacient, swagith chidyngis reisid.
၁၈မာနကြီးသောသူသည် ရန်ကိုနှိုးဆော်တတ်၏။ သည်းခံနိုင်သော သူမူကားငြိမ်းတတ်၏။
19 The weie of slow men is an hegge of thornes; the weie of iust men is with out hirtyng.
၁၉ပျင်းရိသောသူသွားရာ လမ်း၌ဆူးပင်ဆီးကာ လျက် ရှိ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူ သွားရာလမ်းမူကား၊ မို့မောက်လျက်ရှိ၏။
20 A wise sone makith glad the fadir; and a fonned man dispisith his modir.
၂၀ပညာရှိသောသားသည်အဘဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်း အကြောင်းဖြစ်၏။ မိုက်သောသားမူကား၊ မိမိအမိကို မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုတတ်၏။
21 Foli is ioye to a fool; and a prudent man schal dresse hise steppis.
၂၁ဥာဏ်မရှိသောသူသည် မိုက်ခြင်း၌ ပျော်မွေ့ တတ်၏။ ဥာဏ်ရှိသော သူမူကား၊ ဖြောင့်မတ်သော အကျင့် ကို ကျင့်တတ်၏။
22 Thouytis ben distried, where no counsel is; but where many counseleris ben, tho ben confermyd.
၂၂တိုင်ပင်ခြင်းမရှိလျှင် အကြံပျက်တတ်၏။ တိုင် ပင်သော သူများလျှင်မူကား၊ အကြံတည်တတ်၏။
23 A man is glad in the sentence of his mouth; and a couenable word is best.
၂၃လူသည် ပြန်ပြောသောစကားအားဖြင့် ဝမ်း မြောက်စရာအကြောင်းရှိ၏။ အချိန်တန်၍ ပြောသော စကားသည်လည်း အလွန်လျောက်ပတ်ပေ၏။
၂၄ပညာရှိသော သူလိုက်ရာ အသက်လမ်းသည် အောက်အရပ်၊ မရဏာနိုင်ငံမှ လွှဲရှောင်၍၊ အထက်သို့ ပို့ဆောင်တတ်၏။ (Sheol h7585)
25 The Lord schal distrie the hows of proude men; and he schal make stidefast the coostis of a widewe.
၂၅မာနထောင်လွှားသော သူ၏အိမ်ကို ထာဝရ ဘုရားဖျက်ဆီးတော်မူမည်။ မုတ်ဆိုးမနေရာ အရပ်ကို ကား၊ တည်စေတော်မူမည်။
26 Iuele thouytis is abhomynacioun of the Lord; and a cleene word moost fair schal be maad stidfast of hym.
၂၆မတရားသောသူ၏ အကြံအစည်တို့ကို ထာဝရ ဘုရား စက်ဆုပ်ရွံရှာတော်မူ၏။ စင်ကြယ်သောသူ၏ စကားတို့ကိုကား၊ နှစ်သက်တော်မူ၏။
27 He that sueth aueryce, disturblith his hous; but he that hatith yiftis schal lyue. Synnes ben purgid bi merci and feith; ech man bowith awei fro yuel bi the drede of the Lord.
၂၇မတရားသော စီးပွါးကို ရှာသောသူသည် မိမိ အိမ်သားတို့ကို နှောင့်ရှက်တတ်၏။ တံစိုးကိုရွံသောသူမူ ကား အသက်ချမ်းသာရလိမ့်မည်။
28 The soule of a iust man bithenkith obedience; the mouth of wickid men is ful of yuelis.
၂၈ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သူသည်အဘယ်သို့ ပြန်ပြော ရမည်ကို စိတ်နှလုံးထဲမှာ ဆင်ခြင်တတ်၏။ မတရားသော သူ၏နှုတ်မူကား၊ မကောင်းသောအရာတို့ကို သွန်း လောင်းတတ်၏။
29 The Lord is fer fro wickid men; and he schal here the preyers of iust men.
၂၉ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မတရားသော သူတို့နှင့် ဝေးတော်မူ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူ၏ ပဌနာစကားကို ကား နားထောင်တော်မူ၏။
30 The liyt of iyen makith glad the soule; good fame makith fat the boonys.
၃၀မျက်စိအလင်းသည် နှလုံးကို ရွှင်လန်းစေတတ် ၏။ ကောင်းသော သိတင်းစကားသည်လည်း၊ အရိုးတို့ကို ခြင်ဆီနှင့်ပြည့်ဝစေတတ်၏။
31 The eere that herith the blamyngis of lijf, schal dwelle in the myddis of wise men.
၃၁အသက်နှင့်ယှဉ်သောဆုံးမခြင်းစကားကို နား ထောင်သောသူသည် ပညာရှိတို့နှင့် ပေါင်းဘော်ရသော အခွင့်ရှိ၏။
32 He that castith awei chastisyng, dispisith his soule; but he that assentith to blamyngis, is pesible holdere of the herte.
၃၂ဆုံးမခြင်းစကားကို ပယ်သောသူသည် မိမိ အသက်ဝိညာဉ်ကို မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုရာသို့ ရောက်၏။ နား ထောင်သော သူမူကား၊ ဥာဏ်ကိုရတတ်၏။
33 The drede of the Lord is teching of wisdom; and mekenesse goith bifore glorie.
၃၃ထာဝရဘုရားကိုကြောက်ရွံ့သော သဘောသည် ပညာကိုသွန်သင်ခြင်းဖြစ်၏။ ဂုဏ်အသရေအရင်၌ နှိမ့်ချခြင်း၏နေရာရှိ၏။
