Philippians 3
1 Hennus forward, my britheren, haue ye ioye in the Lord. To write to you the same thingis, to me it is not slow, and to you it is necessarie.
În final, frații mei, bucurați-vă în Domnul. Să vă scriu aceleași lucruri, într-adevăr, mie nu îmi este greu, iar vouă vă este sigur.
2 Se ye houndis, se ye yuele werk men, se ye dyuysioun.
Păziți-vă de câini, păziți-vă de lucrători răi, păziți-vă de scrijelați!
3 For we ben circumcisioun, which bi spirit seruen to God, and glorien in Crist Jhesu, and han not trist in the fleisch,
Fiindcă noi suntem circumcizia, cei care în duh ne închinăm lui Dumnezeu și care ne bucurăm în Cristos Isus și nu avem încredere în carne.
4 thouy Y haue trust, yhe, in the fleisch. If ony othere man is seyn to triste in the fleisch,
Măcar că eu aș avea încredere și în carne. Dacă un altul gândește că are de ce să se încreadă în carne, eu mai mult;
5 Y more, that was circumcidid in the eiytthe dai, of the kyn of Israel, of the lynage of Beniamyn, an Ebrew of Ebrewis, bi the lawe a Farisee,
Circumcis a opta zi, din stirpea lui Israel, din tribul lui Beniamin, evreu dintre evrei; referitor la lege, fariseu;
6 bi loue pursuynge the chirche of God, bi riytwisnesse that is in the lawe lyuynge with out playnt.
Referitor la zel, persecutând biserica; referitor la dreptatea care este în lege, găsit ireproșabil.
7 But whiche thingis weren to me wynnyngis, Y haue demed these apeyryngis for Crist.
Dar lucrurile care îmi erau câștiguri, acelea le-am socotit pagubă, pentru Cristos.
8 Netheles Y gesse alle thingis to be peirement for the cleer science of Jhesu Crist my Lord. For whom Y made alle thingis peyrement, and Y deme as drit,
Da, în adevăr, și socotesc toate lucrurile pierdere, din cauza măreției cunoașterii lui Cristos Isus, Domnul meu, pentru care am suferit pierderea a toate și le socotesc a fi gunoi, ca să câștig pe Cristos,
9 that Y wynne Crist, and that Y be foundun in hym, not hauynge my riytwisnesse that is of the lawe, but that that is of the feith of Crist Jhesu, that is of God the riytwisnesse in feith,
Și să fiu găsit în el, nu având propria mea dreptate, care este din lege, ci aceea care este prin credința lui Cristos, dreptatea care este din Dumnezeu prin credință,
10 to knowe hym, and the vertu of his risyng ayen, and the felouschipe of his passioun, and be maad lijk to his deeth,
Ca să îl cunosc pe el și puterea învierii lui și părtășia suferințelor lui, fiind făcut conform cu moartea lui,
11 if on ony maner Y come to the resurreccioun that is fro deth.
Dacă ar fi posibil, cumva, să ajung la învierea morților.
12 Not that now Y haue takun, or now am parfit; but Y sue, if in ony maner Y comprehende, in which thing also Y am comprehendid of Crist Jhesu.
Nu că am obținut deja, sau că am fost făcut deja desăvârșit; dar urmăresc, că poate prind aceea pentru care și eu am fost prins de Cristos Isus.
13 Bretheren, Y deme me not that Y haue comprehendid; but o thing, Y foryete tho thingis that ben bihyndis, and stretche forth my silf to tho thingis that ben bifore,
Fraților, eu nu mă socotesc pe mine însumi că am prins; dar fac un singur lucru, uitând acele lucruri care sunt în urmă și întinzându-mă spre cele care sunt înainte,
14 and pursue to the ordeyned mede of the hiy clepyng of God in Crist Jhesu.
Alerg spre țintă pentru premiul chemării înalte a lui Dumnezeu în Cristos Isus.
15 Therfor who euere we ben perfit, feele we this thing. And if ye vndurstonden in othere manere ony thing, this thing God schal schewe to you.
De aceea astfel să gândim câți suntem desăvârșiți; și dacă în ceva gândiți altfel, Dumnezeu, chiar aceasta, vă va revela.
16 Netheles to what thing we han comun, that we vndurstonden the same thing, and that we perfitli dwelle in the same reule.
Totuși, la ceea ce noi am ajuns deja, să umblăm după aceeași regulă, să gândim același lucru.
17 Britheren, be ye my foleweris, and weyte ye hem that walken so, as ye han oure fourme.
Fraților, fiți împreună urmași ai mei și însemnați pe cei ce umblă astfel, așa cum ne aveți pe noi ca exemplu.
18 For many walken, whiche Y haue seid ofte to you, but now Y wepinge seie, the enemyes of Cristis cros,
(Fiindcă mulți umblă, despre care adeseori v-am spus, și acum vă spun, chiar plângând, că sunt dușmanii crucii lui Cristos,
19 who ende is deth, whos god is the wombe, and the glorie in confusioun of hem, that saueren ertheli thingis.
Al căror sfârșit este nimicirea, al căror Dumnezeu este pântecele lor și a căror glorie este în rușinea lor și care gândesc lucrurile pământești).
20 But oure lyuyng is in heuenes; fro whennus also we abiden the sauyour oure Lord Jhesu Crist,
Fiindcă noi ne purtăm ca cetățeni ai cerului, de unde și așteptăm pe Salvatorul, pe Domnul Isus Cristos;
21 which schal reforme the bodi of oure mekenesse, that is maad lijk to the bodi of his clerenesse, bi the worching bi which he mai `also make alle thingis suget to hym.
Care va schimba trupul nostru înjosit, pentru a-l face să fie conformat trupului său glorios, conform lucrării prin care el este în stare chiar a-și supune lui însuși toate.
