Numbers 1

1 And the Lord spak to Moises in the deseert of Synay, in the tabernacle of the boond of pees, in the firste day of the secounde monethe, in the tother yeer of her goyng out of Egipt,

۱ و در روز اول ماه دوم از سال دوم از بیرون آمدن ایشان از زمین مصر، خداوند دربیابان سینا در خیمه اجتماع موسی را خطاب کرده، گفت:

2 and seide, Take ye `the summe of al the congregacioun of the sones of Israel, bi her kynredis, and howsis, and `the names of alle bi hem silf, what

۲ «حساب تمامی جماعت بنی‌اسرائیل را برحسب قبایل و خاندان آبای ایشان، به شماره اسم های همه ذکوران موافق سرهای ایشان بگیرید.

3 euer thing is of male kynde fro the twentithe yeere and aboue, of alle the stronge men of Israel; and thou and Aaron schulen noumbre hem bi her cumpanies.

۳ از بیست ساله و زیاده، هر‌که از اسرائیل به جنگ بیرون می‌رود، تو وهارون ایشان را برحسب افواج ایشان بشمارید.

4 And the princes of lynagis and of housis, in her kynredis, schulen be with you,

۴ و همراه شما یک نفر از هر سبط باشد که هر یک رئیس خاندان آبایش باشد.

5 of whiche princes these ben the names; of Ruben, Elisur, the sone of Sedeur;

۵ و اسم های کسانی که با شما باید بایستند، این است: از روبین، الیصوربن شدیئور.

6 of Symeon, Salamyel, the sone of Suri Sadday;

۶ و از شمعون، شلومیئیل بن صوریشدای.

7 of Juda, Naason, the sone of Amynadab; of Ysacar,

۷ و از یهودا، نحشون بن عمیناداب.

8 Nathanael, the sone of Suar;

۸ و از یساکار، نتنائیل بن صوغر.

9 of Zabulon, Eliab, the sone of Elon; sotheli of the sones of Joseph,

۹ و از زبولون، الیاب بن حیلون.

10 of Effraym, Elisama, the sone of Amyud; of Manasses, Gamaliel the sone of Phadussur;

۱۰ و از بنی یوسف: از افرایم، الیشمع بن عمیهود. و از منسی، جملیئیل بن فدهصور.

11 of Beniamyn, Abidan, the sone of Gedeon;

۱۱ از بنیامین، ابیدان بن جدعونی.

12 of Dan, Aiezer, the sone of Amysadday;

۱۲ و از دان، اخیعزر بن عمیشدای.

13 of Aser, Fegiel, the sone of Ochran;

۱۳ و از اشیر، فجعیئیل بن عکران.

14 of Gad, Elisaphan, the sone of Duel;

۱۴ و از جاد، الیاساف بن دعوئیل.

15 of Neptalym, Hayra, the sone of Henam.

۱۵ و از نفتالی، اخیرع بن عینان.»

16 These weren the noblest princes of the multitude, bi her lynagis, and kynredis, and the heedis of the oost of Israel,

۱۶ اینانند دعوت‌شدگان جماعت و سروران اسباط آبای ایشان، و روسای هزاره های اسرائیل.

17 whiche pryncis Moises and Aaron token, with al the multitude of the comyn puple.

۱۷ و موسی و هارون این کسان را که به نام، معین شدند، گرفتند.

18 And thei gaderiden in the firste dai of the secounde monethe, and telden hem bi kynredis, and housis, and meynees, and heedis, and names of alle by hem silf, fro the twentithe yeer and aboue,

۱۸ و در روز اول ماه دوم، تمامی جماعت را جمع کرده، نسب نامه های ایشان را برحسب قبایل و خاندان آبای ایشان، به شماره اسم‌ها از بیست ساله و بالاتر موافق سرهای ایشان خواندند.

19 as the Lord comaundide to Moises.

۱۹ چنانکه خداوندموسی را امر فرموده بود، ایشان را در بیابان سینابشمرد.

20 And of Ruben the firste gendrid of Israel weren noumbrid, in the deseert of Synai, bi her generaciouns, and meynees, and housis, and bi the names of alle heedis, al thing that is of male kynde, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, of men goynge forth to batel,

۲۰ و اما انساب بنی روبین نخست زاده اسرائیل، برحسب قبایل و خاندان آبای ایشان، موافق نامها و سرهای ایشان این بود: هر ذکور ازبیست ساله و بالاتر، جمیع کسانی که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفتند.

21 sixe and fourti thousynd and fyue hundrid.

۲۱ شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبطروبین، چهل و شش هزار و پانصد نفر بودند.

22 Of the sones of Symeon, bi her generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kyneredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names and heedis of alle, al that is of male kynde, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, of men goynge forth to batel,

۲۲ و انساب بنی شمعون برحسب قبایل وخاندان آبای ایشان، کسانی که از ایشان شمرده شدند، موافق شماره اسم‌ها و سرهای ایشان این بود: هر ذکور از بیست ساله و بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.

23 nyn and fifty thousand and thre hundrid.

۲۳ شمرده شدگان ایشان ازسبط شمعون، پنجاه و نه هزار و سیصد نفر بودند.

24 Of the sones of Gad, by generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro twenti yeer and aboue, alle men that yeden forth to batels,

۲۴ و انساب بنی جاد برحسب قبایل و خاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها، از بیست ساله وبالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.

25 fyue and fourti thousand sixe hundrid and fifti.

۲۵ شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط جاد، چهل و پنج هزار و ششصد و پنجاه نفر بودند.

26 Of the sones of Juda, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, by the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that miyten go to batels,

۲۶ و انساب بنی یهودا برحسب قبایل وخاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها ازبیست ساله و بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.

27 weren noumbrid foure and seuenti thousand and sixe hundrid.

۲۷ شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط یهودا، هفتاد و چهار هزار و شش صد نفر بودند.

28 Of the sones of Ysacar, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that yeden forth to batels,

۲۸ و انساب بنی یساکار برحسب قبایل وخاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها ازبیست ساله و بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.

29 weren noumbrid foure and fifti thousande and foure hundrid.

۲۹ شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط یساکار، پنجاه و چهار هزار و چهارصد نفر بودند.

30 Of the sones of Zabulon, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,

۳۰ و انساب بنی زبولون برحسب قبایل وخاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها ازبیست ساله و بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.

31 seuene and fifti thousynde and foure hundrid.

۳۱ شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط زبولون پنجاه و هفت هزار و چهارصد نفر بودند.

32 Of the sones of Joseph, of the sones of Effraym, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,

۳۲ و انساب بنی یوسف از بنی افرایم برحسب قبایل و خاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم هااز بیست ساله و بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.

33 fourti thousynde and fyue hundrid.

۳۳ شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط افرایم، چهل هزار و پانصد نفر بودند.

34 Forsothe of the sones of Manasses, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,

۳۴ و انساب بنی منسی برحسب قبایل وخاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها، ازبیست ساله و بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.

35 two and thretti thousynd and two hundrid.

۳۵ شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط منسی، سی و دو هزار و دویست نفر بودند.

36 Of the sones of Beniamyn, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro twenti yeer and aboue, alle men that miyten go forth to batels,

۳۶ و انساب بنی بنیامین برحسب قبایل وخاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها، ازبیست ساله بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.

37 fyue and thretti thousinde and foure hundrid.

۳۷ شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط بنیامین، سی و پنج هزار و چهارصد نفر بودند.

38 Of the sones of Dan, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yere and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,

۳۸ و انساب بنی دان برحسب قبایل و خاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها از بیست ساله وبالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ می‌رفت.

39 two and sixti thousynde and seuene hundrid.

۳۹ شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط دان، شصت و دو هزار و هفتصد نفر بودند.

40 Of the sones of Aser, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,

۴۰ و انساب بنی اشیر برحسب قبایل و خاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها از بیست ساله وبالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.

41 fourti thousynde and a thousynde and fyue hundrid.

۴۱ شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط اشیر، چهل ویک هزار و پانصد نفر بودند.

42 Of the sones of Neptalym, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,

۴۲ و انساب بنی نفتالی برحسب قبایل وخاندان آبای ایشان، موافق شماره اسم‌ها ازبیست ساله و بالاتر، هر‌که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.

43 thre and fifty thousynde and foure hundrid.

۴۳ شمرده شدگان ایشان از سبط نفتالی، پنجاه و سه هزار و پانصد نفر بودند.

44 These men it ben, whiche Moises and Aaron and the twelue princes of Israel noumbriden, alle bi the housis `of her kynredis.

۴۴ اینانند شمرده شدگانی که موسی و هارون با دوازده نفر از سروران اسرائیل، که یک نفر برای هر خاندان آبای ایشان بود، شمردند.

45 And alle men of the sones of Israel bi her housis, and meynees, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, that myyten go forth to batels, weren togidere

۴۵ و تمامی شمرده شدگان بنی‌اسرائیل برحسب خاندان آبای ایشان، از بیست ساله و بالاتر، هر کس از اسرائیل که برای جنگ بیرون می‌رفت.

46 sixe hundrid thousynde and thre thousynde of men, fyue hundred and fifti.

۴۶ همه شمرده شدگان، ششصد و سه هزار و پانصد وپنجاه نفر بودند.

47 Sotheli the dekenes in the lynage of her meynes weren not noumbrid with hem.

۴۷ اما لاویان برحسب سبط آبای ایشان در میان آنها شمرده نشدند.

48 And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide, `Nyle thou noumbre the lynage of Leuy,

۴۸ زیرا خداوند موسی را خطاب کرده، گفت:

49 nether sette thou the summe of hem with the sones of Israel;

۴۹ «اما سبط لاوی را مشمار و حساب ایشان را درمیان بنی‌اسرائیل مگیر.

50 but thou schalt ordeyne hem on the tabernacle of witnessing, and on alle the vessels therof, and what euer thing perteyneth to cerymonyes ether sacrifices. Thei schulen bere the tabernacle, and alle purtenaunces therof, and thei schulen be in seruyce, and schulen sette tentis bi the cumpas of the tabernacle.

۵۰ لیکن لاویان را برمسکن شهادت و تمامی اسبابش و بر هرچه علاقه به آن دارد بگمار، و ایشان مسکن و تمامی اسبابش را بردارند، و ایشان آن را خدمت نمایندو به اطراف مسکن خیمه زنند.

51 Whanne me schal go, the dekenes schulen do doun the tabernacle; whanne the tentis schulen be sette, thei schulen `reise the tabernacle. Who euer of straungeris neiyeth, he schal be slayn.

۵۱ و چون مسکن روانه شود لاویان آن را پایین بیاورند، و چون مسکن افراشته شود لاویان آن را برپا نمایند، وغریبی که نزدیک آن آید، کشته شود.

52 Sotheli the sones of Israel schulen sette tentis, ech man bi cumpenyes, and gaderyngis, and his oost;

۵۲ و بنی‌اسرائیل هر کس در محله خود و هر کس نزدعلم خویش برحسب افواج خود، خیمه زنند.

53 forsothe the dekenes schulen sette tentis bi the cumpas of the tabernacle, lest indignacioun be maad on the multitude of the sones of Israel; and thei schulen wake in the kepyngis of the `tabernacle of witnessyng.

۵۳ و لاویان به اطراف مسکن شهادت خیمه زنند، مبادا غضب بر جماعت بنی‌اسرائیل بشود، ولاویان شعائر مسکن شهادت را نگاه دارند.»

54 Therfor the sones of Israel diden bi alle thingis whiche the Lord comaundide to Moises.

۵۴ پس بنی‌اسرائیل چنین کردند، و برحسب آنچه خداوند موسی را امر فرموده بود، به عمل آوردند.
