1 And the Lord spak to Moises in the deseert of Synay, in the tabernacle of the boond of pees, in the firste day of the secounde monethe, in the tother yeer of her goyng out of Egipt,

2 and seide, Take ye `the summe of al the congregacioun of the sones of Israel, bi her kynredis, and howsis, and `the names of alle bi hem silf, what
Vegyétek számba Izráel fiainak egész gyülekezetét, az ő nemzetségeik szerint, az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint, a neveknek száma szerint, minden férfiút főről főre,
3 euer thing is of male kynde fro the twentithe yeere and aboue, of alle the stronge men of Israel; and thou and Aaron schulen noumbre hem bi her cumpanies.
Húsz esztendőstől fogva és feljebb, mindent, a ki hadba mehet Izráelben; számláljátok meg őket az ő seregök szerint, te és Áron.
4 And the princes of lynagis and of housis, in her kynredis, schulen be with you,
És legyen veletek egy-egy férfiú mindenik törzsből, mindenik feje legyen az ő atyái házának.
5 of whiche princes these ben the names; of Ruben, Elisur, the sone of Sedeur;
Ezek pedig a férfiak nevei, a kik veletek legyenek: Rúbenből Elisúr, Sedeúrnak fia.
6 of Symeon, Salamyel, the sone of Suri Sadday;
Simeonból Selúmiel, Surisaddainak fia.
7 of Juda, Naason, the sone of Amynadab; of Ysacar,
Júdából Naasson, Amminádábnak fia.
8 Nathanael, the sone of Suar;
Izsakhárból Néthánéel, Suárnak fia.
9 of Zabulon, Eliab, the sone of Elon; sotheli of the sones of Joseph,
Zebulonból Eliáb, Hélonnak fia.
10 of Effraym, Elisama, the sone of Amyud; of Manasses, Gamaliel the sone of Phadussur;
József fiai közül: Efraimból Elisama, Ammihudnak fia; Manasséból Gámliel, Pédasurnak fia.
11 of Beniamyn, Abidan, the sone of Gedeon;
Benjáminból Abidán, Gideóni fia.
12 of Dan, Aiezer, the sone of Amysadday;
Dánból Ahiézer, Ammisaddai fia.
13 of Aser, Fegiel, the sone of Ochran;
Áserből Págiel, Okránnak fia.
14 of Gad, Elisaphan, the sone of Duel;
Gádból Eleásaf, Déhuelnek fia.
15 of Neptalym, Hayra, the sone of Henam.
Nafthaliból Akhira, Enánnak fia.
16 These weren the noblest princes of the multitude, bi her lynagis, and kynredis, and the heedis of the oost of Israel,
Ezek a gyülekezetnek hivatalosai, az ő atyjok törzseinek fejei, Izráel ezereinek is fejei ők.

És összegyüjték az egész gyülekezetet a második hónapnak első napján; és vallást tőnek az ő születésökről, az ő nemzetségeik szerint, az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint, a neveknek száma szerint, húsz esztendőstől fogva és feljebb főről főre.
19 as the Lord comaundide to Moises.
A miképen megparancsolta vala az Úr Mózesnek, úgy számlálá meg őket a Sinai pusztájában.
20 And of Ruben the firste gendrid of Israel weren noumbrid, in the deseert of Synai, bi her generaciouns, and meynees, and housis, and bi the names of alle heedis, al thing that is of male kynde, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, of men goynge forth to batel,
Valának pedig Rúbennek, Izráel elsőszülöttének fiai, azoknak szülöttei az ő nemzetségeik szerint, az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint, a nevek száma szerint, főről főre, minden férfiú, húsz esztendőstől fogva és feljebb, minden hadba mehető;
21 sixe and fourti thousynd and fyue hundrid.
A kik megszámláltattak a Rúben törzséből: negyvenhat ezer és ötszáz.
22 Of the sones of Symeon, bi her generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kyneredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names and heedis of alle, al that is of male kynde, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, of men goynge forth to batel,

A kik megszámláltattak Simeon törzséből: ötvenkilencz ezer és háromszáz.
24 Of the sones of Gad, by generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro twenti yeer and aboue, alle men that yeden forth to batels,
Gád fiai közül azoknak szülöttei az ő nemzetségeik szerint, az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint, a neveknek száma szerint, húsz esztendőstől fogva és feljebb, minden hadba mehető;
25 fyue and fourti thousand sixe hundrid and fifti.
A kik megszámláltattak Gád törzséből: negyvenöt ezer és hatszáz ötven.
26 Of the sones of Juda, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, by the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that miyten go to batels,
Júda fiai közül azoknak szülöttei az ő nemzetségeik szerint, az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint, a nevek száma szerint, húsz esztendőstől fogva és feljebb, minden hadba mehető;
27 weren noumbrid foure and seuenti thousand and sixe hundrid.
A kik megszámláltattak Júda törzséből: hetvennégy ezer és hatszáz.
28 Of the sones of Ysacar, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that yeden forth to batels,
Izsakhár fiai közül azoknak szülöttei az ő nemzetségeik szerint, az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint, a nevek száma szerint, húsz esztendőstől fogva és feljebb, minden hadba mehető;
29 weren noumbrid foure and fifti thousande and foure hundrid.
A kik megszámláltattak Izsakhár törzséből: ötvennégy ezer és négyszáz.
30 Of the sones of Zabulon, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,
Zebulon fiai közül azoknak szülöttei az ő nemzetségeik szerint, az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint, a nevek száma szerint, húsz esztendőstől fogva és feljebb, minden hadba mehető;
31 seuene and fifti thousynde and foure hundrid.
A kik megszámláltattak Zebulon törzséből: ötvenhét ezer és négyszáz.
32 Of the sones of Joseph, of the sones of Effraym, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,
József fiaiból Efraim fiai közül azoknak szülöttei az ő nemzetségeik szerint, az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint, a neveknek száma szerint, húsz esztendőstől fogva és feljebb, minden hadba mehető;
33 fourti thousynde and fyue hundrid.
A kik megszámláltattak Efraim törzséből: negyvenezer és ötszáz.
34 Forsothe of the sones of Manasses, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,
Manasse fiai közül azoknak szülöttei az ő nemzetségeik szerint, az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint, a nevek száma szerint, húsz esztendőstől fogva és feljebb, minden hadba mehető;
35 two and thretti thousynd and two hundrid.
A kik megszámláltattak Manasse törzséből: harminczkét ezer és kétszáz.
36 Of the sones of Beniamyn, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro twenti yeer and aboue, alle men that miyten go forth to batels,
Benjámin fiai közül azoknak szülöttei az ő nemzetségeik szerint, az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint, a nevek száma szerint, húsz esztendőstől fogva és feljebb, minden hadba mehető;
37 fyue and thretti thousinde and foure hundrid.
A kik megszámláltattak Benjámin törzséből: harminczöt ezer és négyszáz.
38 Of the sones of Dan, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yere and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,
Dán fiai közül azoknak szülöttei az ő nemzetségeik szerint, az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint, a nevek száma szerint, húsz esztendőstől fogva és feljebb, minden hadba mehető;

A kik megszámláltattak Dán törzséből: hatvankét ezer és hétszáz.
40 Of the sones of Aser, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,
Áser fiai közül azoknak szülöttei az ő nemzetségeik szerint, az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint, a neveknek száma szerint, húsz esztendőstől fogva és feljebb, minden hadba mehető;
41 fourti thousynde and a thousynde and fyue hundrid.
A kik megszámláltattak Áser törzséből: negyvenegy ezer és ötszáz.
42 Of the sones of Neptalym, bi generaciouns, and meynees, and housis of her kynredis, weren noumbrid, bi the names of alle, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, alle men that myyten go forth to batels,
A Nafthali fiainak szülöttei az ő nemzetségeik szerint, az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint, a neveknek száma szerint, húsz esztendőstől fogva és feljebb, minden hadba mehető;
43 thre and fifty thousynde and foure hundrid.
A kik megszámláltattak a Nafthali törzséből: ötvenhárom ezer és négyszáz.
44 These men it ben, whiche Moises and Aaron and the twelue princes of Israel noumbriden, alle bi the housis `of her kynredis.
Ezek azok a megszámláltattak, a kiket megszámláltak Mózes és Áron és Izráel fejedelmei, tizenkét férfiú; egy-egy férfiú vala az ő atyáiknak házanépéből.
45 And alle men of the sones of Israel bi her housis, and meynees, fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue, that myyten go forth to batels, weren togidere
Valának azért mindnyájan, a kik megszámláltattak az Izráel fiai közűl az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint, húsz esztendőstől fogva és feljebb, minden hadba mehető az Izráelben;
46 sixe hundrid thousynde and thre thousynde of men, fyue hundred and fifti.
Valának mindnyájan a megszámláltattak: hatszáz háromezer és ötszáz ötven.
47 Sotheli the dekenes in the lynage of her meynes weren not noumbrid with hem.
De a léviták az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint nem számláltattak közéjök.
48 And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide, `Nyle thou noumbre the lynage of Leuy,
Mert szólott vala az Úr Mózesnek, mondván:
49 nether sette thou the summe of hem with the sones of Israel;
Csak a Lévi törzsét ne vedd számba, és azokat ne számláld Izráel fiai közé;
50 but thou schalt ordeyne hem on the tabernacle of witnessing, and on alle the vessels therof, and what euer thing perteyneth to cerymonyes ether sacrifices. Thei schulen bere the tabernacle, and alle purtenaunces therof, and thei schulen be in seruyce, and schulen sette tentis bi the cumpas of the tabernacle.
Hanem a lévitákat rendeld a bizonyság hajlékához, és minden edényéhez, és minden ahhoz valókhoz; ők hordozzák a hajlékot, és annak minden edényét, és ők szolgáljanak mellette, és a hajlék körül táborozzanak.
51 Whanne me schal go, the dekenes schulen do doun the tabernacle; whanne the tentis schulen be sette, thei schulen `reise the tabernacle. Who euer of straungeris neiyeth, he schal be slayn.
És mikor a hajléknak elébb kell indulni, a léviták szedjék azt szét, mikor pedig megáll a hajlék, a léviták állassák azt fel, az idegen pedig, a ki oda járul, meghaljon.
52 Sotheli the sones of Israel schulen sette tentis, ech man bi cumpenyes, and gaderyngis, and his oost;
És tábort járjanak Izráel fiai kiki az ő táborában, és kiki az ő zászlója alatt, az ő seregeik szerint.
53 forsothe the dekenes schulen sette tentis bi the cumpas of the tabernacle, lest indignacioun be maad on the multitude of the sones of Israel; and thei schulen wake in the kepyngis of the `tabernacle of witnessyng.
A léviták pedig tábort járjanak a bizonyság hajléka körül, hogy ne legyen harag Izráel fiainak gyülekezetén; és megtartsák a léviták a bizonyság hajlékának őrizetét.
54 Therfor the sones of Israel diden bi alle thingis whiche the Lord comaundide to Moises.
Cselekedének azért az Izráel fiai mind a szerint, a mint parancsolta vala az Úr Mózesnek, úgy cselekedének.
