Numbers 35
1 And the Lord spak these thingis to Moises, in the feeldi places of Moab, aboue Jordan,
১সদাপ্রভু মোয়াবের উপভূমিতে যিরীহোর কাছে অবস্থিত যর্দনে মোশিকে বললেন,
2 ayens Jericho, Comaunde thou to the sones of Israel, that thei yyue to dekenes of her possessiouns,
২তুমি ইস্রায়েল সন্তানদের আদেশ কর, যেন তারা নিজেদের অধিকারের অংশ থেকে বাস করার জন্য কতকগুলি শহর লেবীয়দেরকে দেয়; তোমরা সেই সব শহরের সঙ্গে চারদিকের পশু চড়ানোর মাঠও লেবীয়দেরকে দেবে।
3 citees to dwelle, and the suburbabis of tho bi cumpas, that thei dwelle in `the citees, and the suburbabis be to beestis, and `werk beestis;
৩লেবীয়েরা সেই শহরগুলিতে বসবাস করবে। সেই পশু চড়ানোর মাঠ তাদের গবাদি পশু, পশুপাল ও তাদের সমস্ত জীবের জন্য।
4 whiche suburbabis schulen be strecchid forth fro the wallis of citees with outforth `bi cumpas, in the space of a thousynde paacis;
৪তোমরা শহরগুলির যেসব পশু চড়ানোর মাঠ লেবীয়দেরকে দেবে, তার পরিমাণ শহরের দেওয়ালের বাইরে চারদিকে হাজার হাত হবে।
5 ayens the eest schulen be two thousynde cubitis, and ayens the south in lijk manere schulen be two thousynde cubitis, and at the see that biholdith to the west schal be the same mesure, and the north coost schal be endid bi euene terme. And the citees schulen be in the myddis, and the suburbabis with outforth.
৫তোমরা শহরের বাইরে তার পূর্বে সীমানা দুই হাজার হাত, দক্ষিণ সীমানা দুই হাজার হাত, পশ্চিম সীমানা দুই হাজার হাত ও উত্তর সীমানা দুই হাজার হাত পরিমাপ করবে; শহরটি মাঝখানে থাকবে। তাদের জন্য ওটা শহরের পশু চড়ানোর মাঠ হবে।
6 Forsothe of tho citees whiche ye schulen yyue to dekenes, sixe schulen be departid in to helpis of fugityues, `ether of fleynge men, that he that schedde blood, fle to tho; and outakun these sixe, ye schulen yyue to dekenes othere two and fourti citees,
৬হত্যাকারীদের পালানোর জন্য যে ছয়টি আশ্রয় শহর তোমরা দেবে, সেই সব এবং সেটা ছাড়া আরও বিয়াল্লিশটি শহর তোমরা লেবীয়দেরকে দেবে।
7 that is, togidere eiyte and fourti, with her surburbabis.
৭মোট আটচল্লিশটি শহর ও সেইগুলির পশু চড়ানোর মাঠ লেবীয়দেরকে দেবে।
8 And tho citees that schulen be youun of the possessiouns of sones of Israel, schulen be takun awey, mo fro hem that han more, and fewere `schulen be takun awey fro hem that han lesse, alle bi hem silf schulen yyue bi the mesure of her eritage, citees to dekenes.
৮ইস্রায়েল সন্তানদের অধিকার থেকে সেই সমস্ত শহর দেবার দিনের তোমরা বেশি থেকে বেশি ও অল্প থেকে অল্প নেবে; প্রত্যেক বংশ নিজের পাওয়া অধিকার অনুসারে কতকগুলি শহর লেবীয়দেরকে দেবে।
9 The Lord seide to Moises,
৯সদাপ্রভু মোশিকে বললেন,
10 Spek thou to the sones of Israel, and thou schalt seie to hem, Whanne ye han passid Jordan, in the lond of Canaan,
১০“তুমি ইস্রায়েল সন্তানদের বল, তাদেরকে বল, ‘যখন তোমরা যর্দ্দন পার হয়ে কনান দেশে উপস্থিত হবে,
11 deme ye whiche citees owen to be in to the helpis of fugityues, whiche not wilfuli han sched blood.
১১তখন তোমাদের আশ্রয় শহর হবার জন্য কতকগুলি শহর নির্ধারণ করবে; যে জন অনিচ্ছাকৃতভাবে কারও প্রাণ নষ্ট করে, এমন হত্যাকারী যেন সেখানে পালিয়ে যেতে পারে।
12 In whiche whanne the fleere hath fled, the kynesman of hym that is slayn, schal not mow sle hym, til he stonde in the siyt of the multitude, and the cause of hym be demed.
১২তার ফলে সেই সব শহর প্রতিশোধ দাতার হাত থেকে তোমাদের আশ্রয়স্থান হবে; যেন হত্যাকারী বিচারের জন্য মণ্ডলীর সামনে উপস্থিত হবার আগে মারা না যায়।
13 Forsothe of tho citees that ben departid to the helpis of fugityues,
১৩তোমরা যে সব শহর দেবে, তার মধ্যে ছয়টি আশ্রয় শহর হবে।
14 thre schulen be ouer Jordan, and thre in the lond of Canaan;
১৪তোমরা যর্দ্দনের পূর্ব দিকে তিনটি শহর ও কনান দেশে তিনটি শহর দেবে; সেগুলি আশ্রয় শহর হবে।
15 as wel to the sones of Israel as to comelyngis and pilgryms; that he fle to tho citees, that schedde blood not wilfuli.
১৫ইস্রায়েল সন্তানদের জন্য এবং তাদের মধ্যে বসবাসীকারী ও বিদেশীর জন্য এই ছয়টি শহর আশ্রয়স্থান হবে; যেন কেউ অনিচ্ছাকৃতভাবে মানুষকে হত্যা করলে সেখানে পালাতে পারে।
16 If ony man smytith a man with yrun, and he that is smytun is deed, `the smyter schal be gilti of mansleyng, and he schal die.
১৬কিন্তু যদি কেউ লোহার অস্ত্র দিয়ে কাউকেও এমন আঘাত করে যে, তাতে সে মারা যায়, তবে সেই ব্যক্তি নরহত্যাকারী; সেই নরহত্যাকারীর অবশ্যই প্রাণদণ্ড হবে।
17 If he castith a stoon, and a man is deed bi the strook, he schal be punyschid in lijk maner.
১৭যদি কোন অভিযুক্ত ব্যক্তি কাউকে এমন পাথর হাতে নিয়ে আঘাত করে ও তাতে সে মারা যায়, তবে সে নরহত্যাকারী, সেই নরহত্যাকারীর অবশ্যই প্রাণদণ্ড হইবে।
18 If a man smytun with a staf dieth, he schal be vengid bi `the blood of the smytere.
১৮কিংবা যদি অভিযুক্ত ব্যক্তি এমন কোন কাঠের বস্তু হাতে নিয়ে কাউকেও আঘাত করে, আর তাতে সে মারা যায়, তবে সে নরহত্যাকারী; সেই নরহত্যাকারীর অবশ্যই প্রাণদণ্ড হবে।
19 The niy kynesman of hym that is slayn schal sle the mansleere; anoon as he takith hym, `that is, the manquellere, he schal sle hym.
১৯রক্তের প্রতিশোধদাতা নিজে নরহত্যাকারীকে হত্যা করবে; তার দেখা পেলেই তাকে হত্যা করবে।
20 If bi haterede a man hurtlith, `ethir schoufith, `a man, ethir castith ony thing in to hym bi aspiyngis,
২০আর যদি কোনো অভিযুক্ত ব্যক্তি ঘৃণা করে কাউকে আঘাত করে, কিংবা লক্ষ্য করে তার উপরে অস্ত্র ছোঁড়ে ও তাতে সে মারা যায়;
21 ether whanne he was enemy, smoot with hond, and he is deed, the smytere schal be gilti of mansleyng. The kynesman `of him that is slayn, anoon as he findith him, `that is, the sleere, schal sle hym.
২১কিংবা শত্রুতা করে যদি কেউ কাউকেও নিজের হাতে আঘাত করে ও তাতে সে মারা যায়; তবে যে তাকে আঘাত করেছে, তার অবশ্যই প্রাণদণ্ড হবে; সে নরহত্যাকারী; রক্তের প্রতিশোধদাতা তার দেখা পেলেই সেই নরহত্যাকারীকে হত্যা করবে।
22 That if bi sudeyn caas, and without hatrede and enemytees,
২২কিন্তু যদি শত্রুতা ছাড়া হঠাৎ কেউ কাউকেও আঘাত করে, কিংবা লক্ষ্য না করে তার গায়ে অস্ত্র ছোঁড়ে,
23 he doith ony thing of these;
২৩কিংবা যেটা দিয়ে মারা যেতে পারে, এমন পাথর কারও উপরে না দেখে ফেলে, আর তাতেই সে মারা যায়, অথচ সে তার শত্রু বা ক্ষতি চাওয়ার লোক ছিল না;
24 and this is preued in heryng `of the puple, and the questioun of blood is discussid bitwixe the smytere and the kynesman,
২৪তবে মণ্ডলী সেই নরহত্যাকারীর এবং রক্তের প্রতিশোধ দাতার বিষয়ে এইসব বিচারমতে বিচার করবে;
25 the innocent schal be delyuered fro the hond of the vengere, and bi sentence of iugis he schal be led ayen in to the citee, to which he fledde, and he schal dwelle there, til the grete preest die, which is anoyntid with oile.
২৫আর মণ্ডলী রক্তের প্রতিশোধদাতার হাত থেকে সেই নরহত্যাকারীকে উদ্ধার করবে এবং সে যেখানে পালিয়েছিল, তাদের সেই আশ্রয় শহরে মণ্ডলী তাকে পুনরায় পৌঁছে দেবে; আর যে পর্যন্ত পবিত্র তেলে অভিষিক্ত মহাযাজকের মৃত্যু না হয়, ততদিন সে সেই শহরে থাকবে।
26 If the sleere is foundun with out the coostis `of the citees that ben asigned to exilid men,
২৬কিন্তু সেই নরহত্যাকারী যে আশ্রয় শহরে পালিয়ে গেছে, কোন দিনের যদি তার সীমানার বাইরে আসে
27 and is slayn of him that is vengere, he that sleeth him, `that is, the exilid man, schal be with out gilt;
২৭এবং রক্তের প্রতিশোধদাতা আশ্রয় শহরের সীমানার বাইরে তাকে পায়, তবে সেই রক্তে প্রতিশোধদাতা তাকে হত্যা করলেও রক্তপাতের অপরাধী হবে না।
28 for the exilid man ouyte sitte in the citee `til to the `deth of the bischop; forsothe aftir that thilke bischop is deed, the mansleere schal turne ayen in to his lond.
২৮কারণ মহাযাজকের মৃত্যু পর্যন্ত তার আশ্রয় শহরে থাকা উচিত ছিল; কিন্তু মহাযাজকের মৃত্যু হওয়ার পর সেই নরহত্যাকারী তার অধিকার ভূমিতে ফিরে যেতে পারবে।
29 These schulen be euerlastynge and lawful thingis in alle youre dwellyngis.
২৯তোমাদের বংশপরম্পরা অনুসারে এই সমস্ত তোমাদের পক্ষে বিচারের নিয়ম সেই সমস্ত জায়গায় যেখানে তোমরা বসবাস কর।
30 A mansleere schal be punyschid vndur witnessis; no man schal `be dampned at the witnessyng of o man.
৩০যে ব্যক্তি কোন লোককে হত্যা করে, সেই নরহত্যাকারী সাক্ষীদের কথায় হত হবে; কিন্তু কোন লোকের বিরুদ্ধে একমাত্র সাক্ষীর সাক্ষ্য প্রাণদণ্ডের জন্য গ্রহণ করা হবে না।
31 Ye schulen not take prijs of him which is gilti of blood, anoon and he schal die.
৩১আর প্রাণদণ্ডের অপরাধী নরহত্যাকারীর প্রাণের জন্য তোমরা কোন প্রায়শ্চিত্ত গ্রহণ করবে না; তার অবশ্যই প্রাণদণ্ড হবে।
32 Men exilid, and fugityues, schulen not mow turne ayen in ony maner in to her citees, bifore the deeth of the bischop, lest ye defoulen the lond of youre abitacioun,
৩২যে কেউ তার আশ্রয় শহরে পালিয়ে গেছে, সে যেন যাজকের মৃত্যুর আগে পুনরায় দেশে এসে বাস করতে পায়, এই জন্য তার থেকে কোন প্রায়শ্চিত্ত গ্রহণ করবে না।
33 which is defoulid bi the blood of innocent men; and it may not be clensid in other maner, no but bi the blood of hym, that schedde the blood of anothir man.
৩৩এই ভাবে তোমরা নিজেদের বসবাসকারী দেশ অপবিত্র করবে না; কারণ রক্ত দেশকে অপবিত্র করে এবং সেখানে যে রক্তপাত হয়, তার জন্য রক্তপাতীর রক্তপাত ছাড়া দেশের প্রায়শ্চিত্ত হতে পারে না।
34 And so youre possessioun schal be clensid, for Y schal dwelle with you; for Y am the Lord, that dwelle among the sones of Israel.
৩৪তোমরা যে দেশ অধিকার করবে ও যার মধ্যে আমি বাস করি, তুমি তা অশুচি করবে না; কারণ আমি সদাপ্রভু ইস্রায়েল সন্তানদের মধ্যে বাস করি’।”
