Numbers 33
1 These ben the dwellyngis of the sones of Israel, that yeden out of the lond of Egipt, bi her cumpenyes, in the hond of Moises and of Aaron;
Folgendes sind die einzelnen Züge der Israeliten, in denen sie aus Ägypten nach ihren Heerscharen unter der Führung Moses und Aarons ausgezogen sind.
2 whiche dwellyngis Moises discriuede bi the places of tentis, that weren chaungid bi comaundement of the Lord.
Mose hatte nämlich auf Befehl des HERRN die Orte aufgeschrieben, von denen ihre Auszüge erfolgt waren; und folgendes sind ihre Züge von einem Aufbruchsort zum andern:
3 Therfor the sones of Israel yeden forth in `an hiy hond fro Ramesses, in the firste monethe, in the fiftenthe dai of the firste monethe, in the tother dai of pask, while alle Egipcians sien,
Sie brachen von Ramses am fünfzehnten Tage des ersten Monats auf; am Tage nach dem Passah zogen die Israeliten mit hoch erhobener Hand vor den Augen aller Ägypter aus,
4 and birieden the firste gendrid children, whiche the Lord hadde slayn; for the Lord hadde take veniaunce also on the goddis `of hem.
während die Ägypter alle Erstgeborenen begruben, die der HERR unter ihnen hatte sterben lassen; denn der HERR hatte auch an ihren Göttern ein Strafgericht vollzogen.
5 `The sones of Israel settiden tentis in Socoth,
Die Israeliten brachen also von Ramses auf und lagerten in Sukkoth.
6 and fro Sochoth thei camen into Etham, which is in the laste coostis of `the wildirnesse; fro thennus thei yeden out,
Von Sukkoth zogen sie dann weiter und lagerten in Etham, das am Rande der Wüste liegt.
7 and camen ayens Phiayroth, whiche biholdith Beelsephon, and settiden tentis bifor Magdalun.
Von Etham zogen sie weiter und wandten sich nach Pi-Hahiroth, das Baal-Zephon gegenüber liegt, und lagerten östlich von Migdol.
8 And thei yeden forth fro Phiairoth, and passiden bi the myddil see in to the wildirnesse, and thei yeden thre daies bi the deseert of Ethan, and settiden tentis in Mara.
Von Pi-Hahiroth brachen sie auf und zogen mitten durch das Meer nach der Wüste hin; sie wanderten dann drei Tagereisen weit in der Wüste Etham und lagerten in Mara.
9 And thei yeden forth fro Mara, and camen in to Helym, where weren twelue wellis of watir, and seuenti palm trees; and there thei settiden tentis.
Von Mara zogen sie weiter und kamen nach Elim; dort waren zwölf Wasserquellen und siebzig Palmbäume, und sie lagerten daselbst.
10 But also thei yeden out fro thennus, and settiden tentis on the Reed See. And thei yeden forth fro the Reed See,
Von Elim zogen sie weiter und lagerten am Schilfmeer.
11 and settiden tentis in the deseert of Syn,
Vom Schilfmeer zogen sie weiter und lagerten in der Wüste Sin.
12 fro whennus thei yeden out, and camen in to Depheca.
Aus der Wüste Sin zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Dophka.
13 And thei yeden forth fro Depheca, and settiden tentis in Haluys.
Von Dophka zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Alus.
14 And thei yeden forth fro Haluys, and settiden tentis in Raphidyn, where watir failide to `the puple to drinke.
Von Alus zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Rephidim; dort hatte das Volk kein Wasser zu trinken.
15 And thei yeden forth fro Raphidyn, and settiden tentis in the deseert of Synai.
Von Rephidim zogen sie weiter und lagerten in der Wüste Sinai.
16 But also thei yeden out of the wildirnesse of Synay, and camen to the Sepulcris of Coueitise.
Aus der Wüste Sinai zogen sie weiter und lagerten bei den Lustgräbern.
17 And thei yeden forth fro the Sepulcris of Coueytise, and settiden tentis in Asseroth.
Von den Lustgräbern zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Hazeroth.
18 And fro Asseroth thei camen in to Rethma.
Von Hazeroth zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Rithma.
19 And thei yeden forth fro Rethma, and settiden tentis in Remon Phares;
Von Rithma zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Rimmon-Perez.
20 fro whennus thei yeden forth, and camen in to Lemphna.
Von Rimmon-Perez zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Libna.
21 And fro Lemphna thei settiden tentis in Ressa.
Von Libna zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Rissa.
22 And thei yeden out fro Ressa, and camen into Celatha;
Von Rissa zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Kehelatha.
23 fro whennus thei yeden forth, and settiden tentis in the hil of Sepher.
Von Kehelatha zogen sie weiter und lagerten am Berge Sepher.
24 Thei yeden out fro the hil of Sepher, and camen in to Arada;
Vom Berge Sepher zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Harada.
25 fro thennus thei yeden forth, and settiden tentis in Maceloth.
Von Harada zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Makheloth.
26 And thei yeden forth fro Maceloth, and camen in to Caath.
Von Makheloth zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Thahath.
27 Fro Caath thei settiden tentis in Thare;
Von Thahath zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Therah.
28 fro whennus thei yeden out, and settiden tentis in Methcha.
Von Therah zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Mithka.
29 And fro Methcha thei settiden tentis in Esmona.
Von Mithka zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Hasmona.
30 And thei yeden forth fro Asmona, and camen in to Moseroth;
Von Hasmona zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Moseroth.
31 and fro Moseroth thei settiden tentis in Benalachan.
Von Moseroth zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Bene-Jaakan.
32 And thei yeden forth fro Benalachan, and camen in to the hil of Galgad;
Von Bene-Jaakan zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Hor-Hagidgad.
33 fro whennus thei yeden forth, and settiden tentis in Jethebacha.
Von Hor-Hagidgad zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Jotbatha.
34 And fro Jethebacha thei camen in to Ebrona.
Von Jotbatha zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Abrona.
35 And thei yeden out fro Ebrona, and settiden tentis in Asiongaber;
Von Abrona zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Ezjon-Geber.
36 fro thennus thei yeden forth, and camen in to deseert of Syn; this is Cades.
Von Ezjon-Geber zogen sie weiter und lagerten in der Wüste Zin, das ist Kades.
37 And thei yeden fro Cades, and thei settiden tentis in the hil of Hor, in the laste coostis of the lond of Edom.
Von Kades zogen sie weiter und lagerten am Berge Hor, an der Grenze des Landes der Edomiter.
38 And Aaron, the preest, stiede in to the hil of Hor, for the Lord comaundide, and there he was deed, in the fourti yeer of the goyng out of the sones of Israel fro Egipt, in the fyuethe monethe, in the firste dai of the monethe;
Da stieg der Priester Aaron nach dem Befehl des HERRN auf den Berg Hor hinauf und starb daselbst im vierzigsten Jahr nach dem Auszug der Israeliten aus dem Lande Ägypten am ersten Tage des fünften Monats;
39 whanne he was of an hundrid and thre and twenti yeer.
Aaron war aber 123 Jahre alt, als er auf dem Berge Hor starb.
40 And Chanaan, kyng of Arad, that dwellide at the south, in the lond of Canaan, herde that the sones of Israel camen.
[Und der Kanaanäer, der König von Arad, der im südlichen Teile des Landes Kanaan wohnte, hörte vom Heranrücken der Israeliten.]
41 And thei yeden forth fro the hil of Hor, and settiden tentis in Salmona;
Vom Berge Hor zogen sie dann weiter und lagerten in Zalmona.
42 fro thennus thei yeden forth, and camen in to Phynon.
Von Zalmona zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Phunon.
43 And thei yeden forth fro Phynon, and settiden tentis in Oboth.
Von Phunon zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Oboth.
44 And fro Oboth thei camen in to Neabarym, `that is, into the wildirnesse of Abarym, which is in the endis of Moabitis.
Von Oboth zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Ijje-Abarim an der Grenze des Moabiterlandes.
45 And thei yeden forth fro Neabarym, and thei settiden tentis in Dibon of Gad;
Von Ijjim zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Dibon-Gad.
46 fro whennus thei yeden forth, and settiden tentis in Helmon of Deblathaym.
Von Dibon-Gad zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Almon-Diblathaim.
47 And thei yeden out fro Helmon of Deblathaym, and camen to the hillis of Abarym, ayens Nabo.
Von Almon-Diblathaim zogen sie weiter und lagerten am Gebirge Abarim östlich vom Nebo.
48 And thei yeden forth fro the hillis of Abarym, and passiden to the feeldi places of Moab, ouer Jordan, ayens Jericho.
Vom Gebirge Abarim zogen sie weiter und lagerten sich in den Steppen der Moabiter am Jordan, Jericho gegenüber;
49 And there thei settiden tentis, fro Bethsymon `til to Belsathym, in the pleynere places of Moabitis,
und zwar lagerten sie am Jordan von Beth-Jesimoth bis Abel-Sittim in den Steppen der Moabiter.
50 where the Lord spak to Moises,
Der HERR gebot dann dem Mose in den Steppen der Moabiter am Jordan, Jericho gegenüber: »Teile den Israeliten folgende Verordnungen mit:
51 Comaunde thou to the sones of Israel, and seie thou to hem, Whanne ye han passid Jordan, and han entrid in to the lond of Canaan,
Wenn ihr über den Jordan in das Land Kanaan hinübergezogen seid,
52 distrie ye alle the dwelleris of that cuntrey; breke ye the titlis, `that is, auteris, and dryue ye to poudre the ymagis, and distrie ye alle heiy thingis,
sollt ihr alle Bewohner des Landes vor euch her austreiben und alle ihre Götzenbilder vernichten; auch alle ihre Gußbilder sollt ihr vernichten und alle ihre Höhen zerstören.
53 and clense ye the lond, and alle men dwellynge thereynne. For Y yaf to
Ihr sollt dann das Land in Besitz nehmen und darin wohnen; denn euch habe ich das Land als Eigentum verliehen.
54 you that lond into possessioun whiche ye schulen departe to you bi lot; to mo men ye schulen yyue largere lond, and to fewere men streytere lond, as lot fallith to alle men, so eritage schal be youun; possessioun schal be departid bi lynagis and meynees.
Und zwar sollt ihr euch das Land durch das Los als Erbbesitz zuteilen entsprechend euren Stämmen: den größeren Stämmen sollt ihr einen größeren Erbbesitz geben und den kleineren einen weniger großen Erbbesitz zuteilen; doch wohin immer einem jeden das Los fällt, da soll es ihm als Eigentum zuteil werden: nach euren väterlichen Stämmen sollt ihr euch das Land als Erbbesitz zuteilen.
55 But if ye nylen sle the dwelleris of the lond, thei, that abiden, schulen be to you as nailes in the iyen, and speris in the sidis, `that is, deedli aduersaries; and thei schulen be aduersaries to you in the lond of youre abitacioun;
Wenn ihr aber die Bewohner des Landes nicht vor euch her austreibt, so werden die, welche ihr von ihnen übriglaßt, zu Dornen in euren Augen und zu Stacheln in euren Seiten werden und euch in dem Lande, in dem ihr wohnen werdet, bedrängen.
56 and what euer thing Y thouyte to do `to hem, Y schal do to you.
Die Folge wird dann sein, daß ich euch das Geschick widerfahren lasse, das ich ihnen zugedacht hatte.«
