Numbers 33
1 These ben the dwellyngis of the sones of Israel, that yeden out of the lond of Egipt, bi her cumpenyes, in the hond of Moises and of Aaron;
Voici les étapes des enfants d'Israël, qui sortirent du pays d'Égypte, selon leurs armées, sous la conduite de Moïse et d'Aaron.
2 whiche dwellyngis Moises discriuede bi the places of tentis, that weren chaungid bi comaundement of the Lord.
Or Moïse écrivit leurs marches selon leurs étapes, sur le commandement de l'Éternel. Voici donc leurs étapes, selon leurs marches.
3 Therfor the sones of Israel yeden forth in `an hiy hond fro Ramesses, in the firste monethe, in the fiftenthe dai of the firste monethe, in the tother dai of pask, while alle Egipcians sien,
Les enfants d'Israël partirent de Ramsès le premier mois, au quinzième jour du premier mois, le lendemain de la Pâque; ils sortirent à main levée, à la vue de tous les Égyptiens.
4 and birieden the firste gendrid children, whiche the Lord hadde slayn; for the Lord hadde take veniaunce also on the goddis `of hem.
Et les Égyptiens ensevelissaient ceux que l'Éternel avait frappés parmi eux, tous les premiers-nés; l'Éternel avait même exercé des jugements sur leurs dieux.
5 `The sones of Israel settiden tentis in Socoth,
Et les enfants d'Israël partirent de Ramsès, et campèrent à Succoth.
6 and fro Sochoth thei camen into Etham, which is in the laste coostis of `the wildirnesse; fro thennus thei yeden out,
Ils partirent de Succoth, et campèrent à Étham, qui est au bout du désert.
7 and camen ayens Phiayroth, whiche biholdith Beelsephon, and settiden tentis bifor Magdalun.
Puis ils partirent d'Étham, se détournèrent vers Pi-Hahiroth, qui est en face de Baal-Tsephon, et campèrent devant Migdol.
8 And thei yeden forth fro Phiairoth, and passiden bi the myddil see in to the wildirnesse, and thei yeden thre daies bi the deseert of Ethan, and settiden tentis in Mara.
Et ils partirent de devant Pi-Hahiroth, passèrent au milieu de la mer, vers le désert, allèrent trois jours de chemin par le désert d'Étham, et campèrent à Mara.
9 And thei yeden forth fro Mara, and camen in to Helym, where weren twelue wellis of watir, and seuenti palm trees; and there thei settiden tentis.
Puis ils partirent de Mara et vinrent à Élim; or il y avait à Élim douze sources d'eaux et soixante-dix palmiers; et ils y campèrent.
10 But also thei yeden out fro thennus, and settiden tentis on the Reed See. And thei yeden forth fro the Reed See,
Ils partirent d'Élim, et campèrent près de la mer Rouge.
11 and settiden tentis in the deseert of Syn,
Puis ils partirent de la mer Rouge, et campèrent au désert de Sin.
12 fro whennus thei yeden out, and camen in to Depheca.
Et ils partirent du désert de Sin, et campèrent à Dophka.
13 And thei yeden forth fro Depheca, and settiden tentis in Haluys.
Et ils partirent de Dophka, et campèrent à Alush.
14 And thei yeden forth fro Haluys, and settiden tentis in Raphidyn, where watir failide to `the puple to drinke.
Et ils partirent d'Alush, et campèrent à Rephidim, où il n'y avait point d'eau à boire pour le peuple.
15 And thei yeden forth fro Raphidyn, and settiden tentis in the deseert of Synai.
Et ils partirent de Rephidim, et campèrent au désert de Sinaï.
16 But also thei yeden out of the wildirnesse of Synay, and camen to the Sepulcris of Coueitise.
Ensuite ils partirent du désert de Sinaï, et campèrent à Kibroth-Hatthaava.
17 And thei yeden forth fro the Sepulcris of Coueytise, and settiden tentis in Asseroth.
Et ils partirent de Kibroth-Hatthaava, et campèrent à Hatséroth.
18 And fro Asseroth thei camen in to Rethma.
Puis ils partirent de Hatséroth, et campèrent à Rithma.
19 And thei yeden forth fro Rethma, and settiden tentis in Remon Phares;
Et ils partirent de Rithma et campèrent à Rimmon-Pérets.
20 fro whennus thei yeden forth, and camen in to Lemphna.
Et ils partirent de Rimmon-Pérets, et campèrent à Libna.
21 And fro Lemphna thei settiden tentis in Ressa.
Et ils partirent de Libna, et campèrent à Rissa.
22 And thei yeden out fro Ressa, and camen into Celatha;
Ensuite ils partirent de Rissa, et campèrent à Kéhélatha.
23 fro whennus thei yeden forth, and settiden tentis in the hil of Sepher.
Et ils partirent de Kéhélatha, et campèrent à la montagne de Shapher.
24 Thei yeden out fro the hil of Sepher, and camen in to Arada;
Et ils partirent de la montagne de Shapher, et campèrent à Harada.
25 fro thennus thei yeden forth, and settiden tentis in Maceloth.
Et ils partirent de Harada, et campèrent à Makhéloth.
26 And thei yeden forth fro Maceloth, and camen in to Caath.
Puis ils partirent de Makhéloth, et campèrent à Tahath.
27 Fro Caath thei settiden tentis in Thare;
Et ils partirent de Tahath, et campèrent à Tarach.
28 fro whennus thei yeden out, and settiden tentis in Methcha.
Et ils partirent de Tarach, et campèrent à Mithka.
29 And fro Methcha thei settiden tentis in Esmona.
Et ils partirent de Mithka, et campèrent à Hashmona.
30 And thei yeden forth fro Asmona, and camen in to Moseroth;
Et ils partirent de Hashmona, et campèrent à Moséroth.
31 and fro Moseroth thei settiden tentis in Benalachan.
Et ils partirent de Moséroth, et campèrent à Bené-Jaakan.
32 And thei yeden forth fro Benalachan, and camen in to the hil of Galgad;
Et ils partirent de Bené-Jaakan, et campèrent à Hor-Guidgad.
33 fro whennus thei yeden forth, and settiden tentis in Jethebacha.
Et ils partirent de Hor-Guidgad, et campèrent à Jotbatha.
34 And fro Jethebacha thei camen in to Ebrona.
Et ils partirent de Jotbatha, et campèrent à Abrona.
35 And thei yeden out fro Ebrona, and settiden tentis in Asiongaber;
Et ils partirent de Abrona, et campèrent à Etsjon-Guéber.
36 fro thennus thei yeden forth, and camen in to deseert of Syn; this is Cades.
Et ils partirent d'Etsjon-Guéber, et campèrent au désert de Tsin, qui est Kadès.
37 And thei yeden fro Cades, and thei settiden tentis in the hil of Hor, in the laste coostis of the lond of Edom.
Ensuite ils partirent de Kadès, et campèrent à la montagne de Hor, à l'extrémité du pays d'Édom.
38 And Aaron, the preest, stiede in to the hil of Hor, for the Lord comaundide, and there he was deed, in the fourti yeer of the goyng out of the sones of Israel fro Egipt, in the fyuethe monethe, in the firste dai of the monethe;
Et Aaron, le sacrificateur, monta sur la montagne de Hor, suivant l'ordre de l'Éternel, et il y mourut, dans la quarantième année après que les enfants d'Israël furent sortis du pays d'Égypte, le cinquième mois, le premier jour du mois.
39 whanne he was of an hundrid and thre and twenti yeer.
Et Aaron était âgé de cent vingt-trois ans, quand il mourut sur la montagne de Hor.
40 And Chanaan, kyng of Arad, that dwellide at the south, in the lond of Canaan, herde that the sones of Israel camen.
Alors le Cananéen, roi d'Arad, qui habitait le Midi du pays de Canaan, apprit que les enfants d'Israël venaient.
41 And thei yeden forth fro the hil of Hor, and settiden tentis in Salmona;
Et ils partirent de la montagne de Hor, et campèrent à Tsalmona.
42 fro thennus thei yeden forth, and camen in to Phynon.
Et ils partirent de Tsalmona, et campèrent à Punon.
43 And thei yeden forth fro Phynon, and settiden tentis in Oboth.
Et ils partirent de Punon, et campèrent à Oboth.
44 And fro Oboth thei camen in to Neabarym, `that is, into the wildirnesse of Abarym, which is in the endis of Moabitis.
Puis ils partirent d'Oboth, et campèrent à Ijjé-Abarim, sur la frontière de Moab.
45 And thei yeden forth fro Neabarym, and thei settiden tentis in Dibon of Gad;
Et ils partirent d'Ijjé-Abarim, et campèrent à Dibon-Gad.
46 fro whennus thei yeden forth, and settiden tentis in Helmon of Deblathaym.
Et ils partirent de Dibon-Gad, et campèrent à Almon-Diblathaïm.
47 And thei yeden out fro Helmon of Deblathaym, and camen to the hillis of Abarym, ayens Nabo.
Puis ils partirent d'Almon-Diblathaïm, et campèrent aux montagnes d'Abarim, devant Nébo.
48 And thei yeden forth fro the hillis of Abarym, and passiden to the feeldi places of Moab, ouer Jordan, ayens Jericho.
Et ils partirent des montagnes d'Abarim, et campèrent dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain de Jérico.
49 And there thei settiden tentis, fro Bethsymon `til to Belsathym, in the pleynere places of Moabitis,
Et ils campèrent près du Jourdain, depuis Beth-Jeshimoth jusqu'à Abel-Sittim, dans les plaines de Moab.
50 where the Lord spak to Moises,
Or l'Éternel parla à Moïse dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain de Jérico, en disant:
51 Comaunde thou to the sones of Israel, and seie thou to hem, Whanne ye han passid Jordan, and han entrid in to the lond of Canaan,
Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et dis-leur: Lorsque vous aurez passé le Jourdain pour entrer au pays de Canaan,
52 distrie ye alle the dwelleris of that cuntrey; breke ye the titlis, `that is, auteris, and dryue ye to poudre the ymagis, and distrie ye alle heiy thingis,
Vous chasserez de devant vous tous les habitants du pays, vous détruirez toutes leurs figures, vous détruirez toutes leurs images de fonte, et vous démolirez tous leurs hauts lieux;
53 and clense ye the lond, and alle men dwellynge thereynne. For Y yaf to
Et vous prendrez possession du pays, et vous y habiterez. Car je vous ai donné le pays pour le posséder.
54 you that lond into possessioun whiche ye schulen departe to you bi lot; to mo men ye schulen yyue largere lond, and to fewere men streytere lond, as lot fallith to alle men, so eritage schal be youun; possessioun schal be departid bi lynagis and meynees.
Vous partagerez le pays par le sort, selon vos familles. A ceux qui sont en grand nombre, vous donnerez plus d'héritage, et à ceux qui sont en petit nombre, tu donneras moins d'héritage; chacun l'aura là où il lui sera échu par le sort; vous ferez le partage selon les tribus de vos pères.
55 But if ye nylen sle the dwelleris of the lond, thei, that abiden, schulen be to you as nailes in the iyen, and speris in the sidis, `that is, deedli aduersaries; and thei schulen be aduersaries to you in the lond of youre abitacioun;
Mais si vous ne chassez pas devant vous les habitants du pays, ceux d'entre eux que vous aurez laissés de reste seront des épines dans vos yeux et des pointes dans vos côtés, et ils vous serreront de près dans le pays dont vous serez les habitants;
56 and what euer thing Y thouyte to do `to hem, Y schal do to you.
Et il arrivera que je vous ferai comme j'ai eu dessein de leur faire.
