Numbers 31
1 And the Lord spak to Moyses, and seide,
OLELO mai la o Iehova ia Mose, i mai la,
2 Venge thou firste the sones of Israel of Madianytis, and so thou schalt be gaderid to thi puple.

3 And anoon Moises seide, Arme ye men of you to batel, that moun take of Madianytis the veniaunce of the Lord.
Olelo aku la o Mose i na kanaka, i aku la, E hoomakaukau i kekahi poe o oukou no ke kaua, a e kuu aku ia lakou e hele ku e i ka Midiana, a e hoopai aku i ko Iehova maluna o ka Midiana.
4 Of ech lynage be chosun a thousynde men of Israel, that schulen be sent to batel.

5 And of ech lynage thei yauen a thousynde, that is twelue thousynde of men, redi to batel;

6 whiche Moises sente with Fynees, the sone of Eleazar, preest. And he bitook to hem hooli vesselis, and trumpis to make sown.

7 And whanne thei hadden fouyt ayens Madianytis, and hadden ouercome, thei killiden alle the malis,

8 and `the kyngis of hem, Euy, and Reem, and Sur, and Hur, and Rebe, fyue princes of `the folc of hem. Also thei killiden bi swerd Balaam, the sone of Beor.

9 And thei token the wymmen of hem, and the litle children, and alle beestis, and al purtenaunce of howshold; what euer thei myyten haue, thei spuyleden;
Lawe pio aku la na mamo a Iseraela i na wahine a me ka lakou poe keiki liilii, a hao ae la lakou i na bipi o lakou a pau, me na holoholona a pau o lakou, a me ko lakou waiwai a pau.
10 flawme brente as wel citees, as litle townes and castels.
Puhi aku la lakou i na kulanakauhale a pau kahi a lakou i noho ai, a me na pa holoholona a pau o lakou, i ke ahi.
11 And they token pray, and alle thingis whiche thei hadden take, as wel of men as of beestis, and thei brouyten to Moyses,

12 and to Eleazar, preest, and to al the multitude of the sones of Israel. Forsothe thei baren othere `thingis perteynynge to vss, to the castels in the feldi places of Moab bisidis Jordan, ayens Jericho.

13 Moises and Eleazar, preest, and alle the princes of the synagoge, yeden out in to the comyng of hem, with out the castels, `that is, of the tabernacle.
Hele aku la o Mose me Eleazara ke kahuna, a me na luna a pau o ke anaina kanaka e halawai me lakou mawaho o kahi hoomoana.
14 And Moises was wrooth to the princes of the oost, to tribunes, and centuriouns, that camen fro batel;
Huhu aku la o Mose i na luna kaua, i na luna tausani a me na luna haneri, i hele mai, mai ke kaua mai.
15 and he seide, Whi reserueden ye wymmen?
I aku la o Mose ia lakou, Ua hoola mai no anei oukou i na wahine a pau?
16 whether it be not these that disseyueden the sones of Israel, at the suggestioun of Balaam, and maden you to do trespas ayens the Lord, on the synne of Phegor, wherfor also the puple was slayn?
Aia hoi, o keia ka poe i hoowalewale i na mamo a Iseraela, mamuli o ka manao o Balaama, e lawehala ia Iehova ma ka mea a Peora, a hiki mai no ke ahulau iwaena o ke anaina kanaka o Iehova.
17 And therfor sle ye alle men, what euer thing is of male kynde, and litle children; and strangle ye the wymmen that knew men fleischli;
No ia hoi, e pepehi oukou i na kane a pau iwaena o na kamalii, a e pepehi i na wahine a pau i ike i ke kane ma ka moe me ia.
18 forsothe reserue ye to you damesels, and alle wymmen virgyns,
Aka, o ka poe kaikamahine a pau i ike ole i ke kane ma ka moe me ia, oia ka oukou e hoola ai.
19 and dwelle ye with out the castels in seuene daies. He that sleeth a man, ether touchith a slayn man, schal be clensid in the thridde and the seuenthe dai;
A e noho oukou mawaho o kahi hoomoana i na la ehiku: o ka mea i pepehi i kekahi kanaka, a o ka mea i hoopa aku i ke kupapau, e huikala oukou ia oukou iho a me ko oukou poe pio, i ke kolu o ka la, a i ka hiku o ka la.
20 and of al the pray, whether it is clooth, ether vessel, and ony thing maad redi in to thingis perteynynge to vss, of the skynnys and heeris of geet, and `of tre, it schal be clensid.
E huikala hoi oukou i na aahu a pau, a me na mea ili a pau, a me na mea hulu kao a pau, a me na mea laau a pau.
21 And Eleazar, preest, spak thus to the men of the oost that fouyten, This is the comaundement of the lawe, which the Lord comaundide to Moises,
Olelo aku la hoi o Eleazara ke kahuna i na koa i hele aku i ke kaua, Eia ka oihana o ke kanawai a Iehova i kauoha mai ai ia Mose;
22 The gold, and siluer, and bras, and yrun, and tiyn, and leed, and al thing that may passe by flawme, schal be purgid bi fier;
O ke gula wale no, o ke kala, o ke keleawe, o ka hao, o ka piuta, a me ke kepau,
23 sotheli what euer thing may not suffre fier, schal be halewid bi the watir of clensyng.
O kela mea keia mea e pono ma ke ahi, oia ka oukou e hoohele mawaena o ke ahi, a e huikalaia oia; a e hoomaemaeia no nae ia i ka wai huikala: a o na mea a pau e pono ole ma ke ahi, oia ka oukou e hoohele mawaena o ka wai.
24 And ye schulen waische youre clothis in the seuenthe dai, and ye schulen be clensid; and aftirward ye schulen entre in to the castels `of the tabernacle.

25 And the Lord seide to Moises, Take ye the summe of tho thingis that ben takun, fro man `til to beeste,

26 thou, and Eleazar, preest, and alle the princes of the comyn puple.
E helu i ka waiwai pio o ka poe i lawe pio, o kanaka a me na holoholona, o oe a me Eleazara ke kahuna, a me na lunakahiko o ke anaina kanaka.
27 And thou schalt departe euenli the prey bytwixe hem that fouyten and yeden out to batel, and bitwixe al the multitude.
A e puunaue i ka waiwai pio i na puu elua; no ka poe i lawe i ke kaua maluna o lakou iho, ka poe i hele aku i ke kaua kekahi, a no ke anaina kanaka a pau kekahi.
28 And thou schalt departe a part to the Lord, of hem that fouyten, and weren in batel, `o soule of fiue hundrid, as wel of men, as of oxun, and of assis, and of scheep.
A e auhau oe no Iehova i na kanaka kaua, i ka poe i hele aku i ke kaua: i hookahi kino noloko mai o na haneri elima, o na kanaka, o na bipi, o na hoki, a o na hipa.
29 And thou schalt yyue `that part to Eleazar, preest, for tho ben the firste fruytis of the Lord.
E lawe ia noloko mai o ka lakou hapalua, a e haawi aku na Eleazara ke kahuna, i mohai kaikai no Iehova.
30 Also of the myddil part of the sones of Israel, thou schalt take the fiftithe heed of men, and of oxun, and of assis, and of scheep, and of alle lyuynge beestis; and thou schalt yyue tho to the dekenes, that waken in the kepyngis of the tabernacle of the Lord.
A noloko mai o ka hapalua no na mamo a Iseraela, kau e lawe aku ai i hookahi hapa kanalima o na kanaka, o na bipi, o na hoki, o na hipa, a o na holoholona a pau, a e haawi aku ia mau mea na na Levi, na ka poe e malama ana i ka ukana o ka halelewa no Iehova.
31 And Moyses and Eleazar diden, as the Lord comaundide.
A hana aku la o Mose laua o Eleazara ke kahuna, e like me ka Iehova i kauoha mai ai ia Mose.
32 Forsothe the prey which the oost hadde take, was sixe hundrid fyue and seuenti thousynde of scheep,
A o ka waiwai pio, o ke koena o ka waiwai pio a na kanaka kaua i lawe pio ai, he aono haneri me kanahikukumamalima na tausani hipa.
33 of oxun two and seuenti thousynde,
A he kanahikukumamalua na tausani bipi.
34 of assis sixti thousynde and a thousynde;
A he kanaonokumamakahi na tausani hoki.
35 the soules of persones of femal kynde, that knewen not fleischli men, two and thretti thousynde.
A he kanakolukumamalua na tausani wahine a pau i ike ole i ke kane ma ka moe ana me ia.
36 And the myddil part was youun to hem that weren in the batel, of scheep thre hundrid seuene and thretti thousynde and fyue hundrid;
A o ka hapalua, ka puu a ka poe i hele aku i ke kaua, ma ka helu ana, he akolu haneri me kanakolukumamahiku na tausani hipa, a me na haneri keu elima.
37 of whiche sixe hundrid fyue and seuenti scheep weren noumbrid in to the part of the Lord;
A o na hipa auhau na Iehova, he aono haneri me kanahikukumamalima.
38 and of sixe and thretti thousynde oxun,
A he kanakolukumamaono na tausani bipi; a o ka auhau na Iehova noloko mai o ia poe, he kanahikukumamalua.
39 two and seuenti oxun, and of thretti thousynde assis and fyue hundryd, oon and sixti assis;
A o na hoki, he kanakolu na tausani, a me na haneri keu elima; a o ka auhau na Iehova noloko mai o ia poe, he kanaonokumamakahi.
40 of sixtene thousynde persoones of men, twei and thretti persoones bifelden in to the `part of the Lord.
A o na wahine, he umikumamaono na tausani; a he kanakolukumamalua o lakou ke auhau no Iehova.
41 And Moises bitook the noumbre of the firste fruytis of the Lord to Eleazar, preest, as it was comaundid to hym,
A haawi aku la o Mose i ka auhau, i ka mea mohaikaikai a Iehova, na Eleazara ke kahuna, e like me ka Iehova i kauoha mai ai ia Mose.
42 of the myddil part of the sones of Israel, which he departide to hem that weren in batel.
A o ka hapalua a na mamo a Iseraela, ka mea a Mose i puunaue ai mai na kanaka kaua mai.
43 And of the myddil part that bifelde to the tother multitude, that is, of thre hundrid seuene and thretti thousynde scheep and fyue hundrid,
(O ka ke anaina kanaka hapalua, he akolu haneri me ke kanakolukumamahiku na tausani hipa, a me na haneri keu elima,
44 and of sixe and thretti thousynde oxun,
A he kanakolukumamaono na tausani bipi,
45 and of thretti thousynde assis and fyue hundrid, and of sixtene thousynde wymmen,
A he kanakolu tausani na hoki me na haneri keu elima.
46 Moyses took the fyftithe heed,
A he umikumamaono tausani na wahine.)
47 and yaf to the dekenes, that wakiden in the tabernacle of the Lord, as the Lord comaundide.
A lawe aku la o Mose i hookahi hapa kanalima, noloko mai o ka hapalua a na mamo a Iseraela, i na kanaka a me na holoholona, a haawi aku ia lakou na ka poe Levi, ka poe i malama i ka ukana o ka halelewa o Iehova; e like me ka Iehova i kauoha mai ia Mose.
48 And whanne the princes of the oost, and the tribunes and centuriouns hadden neiyed to Moises,
Hele mai la na luna o na tausani o ke kaua, a kokoke io Mose la, o na luna tausani a me na luna haneri:
49 thei seiden, We thi seruauntis han teld the noumbre of fiyters, whiche we hadden vndur oure hoond, and sotheli not oon failide;
I aku la lakou ia Mose, Ua helu iho nei kau poe kauwa i na kanaka kaua malalo iho o makou, aole hoi i nalowale kekahi kanaka o makou:
50 for which cause we offren `in the fre yiftis of the Lord, alle bi vs silf, that that we myyten fynde of gold in the pray, girdelis for `the myddil of wymmen, and bies of the armes, and ryngis, and ournementis of the arm nyy the hond, and bies of the neckis of wymmen, that thou preye the Lord for vs.
Nolaila makou i lawe mai nei i alana no Iehova, i ka mea a kela kanaka a keia kanaka i loaa'i, o na mea gula, na kupee, na apo, na komolima, na apo pepeiao, na leia-i, i mea hookalahala ia makou iho imua o Iehova.
51 And Moises and Eleazar, preest, token al the gold in dyuerse spices,
A lawe aku la o Mose a me Eleazara i ke gula, i na mea i hanaia a pau, mai o lakou aku.
52 `ether kyndis, bi the weiyte of the seyntuarye, sixtene thousynde seuene hundrid and fifti siclis, of the tribunes, and centuriouns.
O ke gula a pau o ka mohai, ka mea a na luna tausani a me na luna haneri i kaumaha aku ai no Iehova, he umikumamaono tausani ehiku haneri a me kanalima na sekela.
53 For that that ech man rauyschide in the prey, was his owne;
No ka mea, ua lawe na kanaka kaua i ka waiwai pio, o kela kanaka keia kanaka nona iho.)
54 and thei baren the gold taken in to the tabernacle of witnessyng, in to the mynde of the sones of Israel, bifor the Lord.
Lawe aku la o Mose laua o Eleazara ke kahuna i ke gula o na luna tausani a me na luna haneri, a halihali aku la ia mea iloko o ka halelewa o ke anaina, i mea hoomanao no na mamo a Iseraela imua o Iehova.
