1 These ben the generaciouns of Aaron and of Moises, in the dai in which the Lord spak to Moises, in the hil of Synay.
Dies ist das Geschlecht Aarons und Moses, an dem Tag, als der HERR mit Mose redete auf dem Berge Sinai.
2 And these ben the names of `the sones of Aaron; his first gendrid, Nadab; aftirward, Abyu, and Eleazar, and Ythamar; these ben the names of `Aarons sones,
Und dies sind die Namen der Söhne Aarons: Der Erstgeborene Nadab, darnach Abihu, Eleasar und Itamar.
3 preestis, that weren anoyntid, and whos hondis weren fillid and halewid, that thei schulden `be set in preesthod.
Das sind die Namen der Söhne Aarons, der gesalbten Priester, denen man die Hände füllte zum Priesterdienst.
4 Nadab and Abyu, whanne thei offeriden alien fier in the `siyt of the Lord, in the deseert of Synay, weren deed without fre children; and Eleazar and Ythamar `weren set in preesthod bifor Aaron hir fadir.
Aber Nadab und Abihu starben vor dem HERRN, als sie fremdes Feuer vor den HERRN brachten, in der Wüste Sinai, und sie hatten keine Söhne. Eleasar aber und Itamar taten Priesterdienst vor den Augen ihres Vaters Aaron.
5 And the Lord spak to Moises,
Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach:
6 `and seide, `Presente thou the lynage of Leuy, and make to stonde in the siyt of Aaron, preest, that thei mynystre to hym;
Bring den Stamm Levi herzu, und stelle sie vor Aaron, den Priester, daß sie ihm dienen und besorgen,
7 and wake, and that thei kepe what euer thing perteyneth to the religioun of multitude, bifor the tabernacle of witnessyng;
was für ihn und für die ganze Gemeinde zu besorgen ist, vor der Stiftshütte, und so den Dienst an der Wohnung versehen,
8 and that thei kepe the vessels of the tabernacle, and serue in the seruyce therof.
daß sie alle Geräte der Stiftshütte hüten und der Hut der Kinder Israel warten, den Dienst an der Wohnung versehen.
9 And thou schalt yyue bi fre yifte the Leuytis to Aaron and hise sones, to whiche thei ben youun of the sones of Israel.
Und du sollst die Leviten Aaron und seinen Söhnen zum Geschenk machen; geschenkt sind sie ihm von seiten der Kinder Israel.
10 Sotheli thou schalt ordeyne Aaron and hise sones on the religioun of preesthod; a straungere, that neiyeth for to mynystre, and schal die.
Aber Aaron und seine Söhne sollst du beauftragen, ihres Priestertums zu warten. Wenn sich ein Fremder naht, so muß er sterben.
11 And the Lord spak to Moyses, `and seide,
Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach:
12 Y haue take the Leuytis of the sones of Israel for ech firste gendrid thing that openeth the womb in the sones of Israel; and the Leuytis schulen be myne,
Siehe, ich habe die Leviten unter den Kindern Israel genommen an Stelle aller Erstgeborenen unter den Kindern Israel, also daß die Leviten mein sind.
13 for ech firste gendrid thing is myn; sithen Y smoot the firste gendrid in the lond of Egipt, Y halewide to me what euer thing is borun first in Israel; fro man `til to beest thei ben myne; Y am the Lord.
Denn alle Erstgeburt ist mein; an dem Tag, da ich alle Erstgeburt in Ägypten schlug, heiligte ich mir alle Erstgeburt in Israel, von den Menschen an bis auf das Vieh, daß sie mein sein sollen, mir, dem HERRN.
14 And the Lord spak to Moises in the deseert
Und der HERR redete zu Mose in der Wüste Sinai und sprach:
15 of Synay, and seide, Noumbre thou the sones of Leuy bi `the housis of her fadris, and bi meynees, ech male fro o monethe and aboue.
Mustere die Kinder Levis nach ihren Vaterhäusern und Geschlechtern, alles, was männlich ist, einen Monat alt und darüber!
16 Moises noumbride, as the Lord comaundide.
Also musterte sie Mose nach dem Wort des HERRN, wie er geboten hatte.
17 And the sones of Leuy weren foundun, bi her names, Gerson, and Caath, and Merary;
Und dies sind die Kinder Levis mit ihren Namen: Gerson, Kahat und Merari.
18 the sones of Gerson weren Lebny, and Semey;
Die Namen aber der Kinder Gersons nach ihren Geschlechtern sind Libni und Simei.
19 the sones of Caath weren Amram, and Jessaar, Hebron, and Oziel;
Die Kinder Kahats nach ihren Geschlechtern sind Amram, Jizhar, Hebron und Ussiel.
20 and the sones of Merari weren Mooly, and Musi.
Die Kinder Meraris nach ihren Geschlechtern sind Machli und Muschi. Das sind die Geschlechter Levis nach ihren Vaterhäusern.
21 Of Gerson weren twei meynees, of Lebny, and of Semei;
Von Gerson stammt das Geschlecht der Libniter und Simeiter. Das sind die Geschlechter der Gersoniter.
22 of whiche the puple of male kynde was noumbrid, fro o monethe and aboue, seuene thousynde and fyue hundrid.
Die Zahl ihrer Gemusterten männlichen Geschlechts, von einem Monat und darüber, betrug 7500.
23 These schulen sette tentis aftir the tabernacle at the west,
Das Geschlecht der Gersoniter soll sich hinter der Wohnung gegen Abend lagern.
24 vndur the prince Eliasaph, the sone of Jahel.
Und der Fürst des Vaterhauses der Gersoniter sei Eliasaph, der Sohn Laels.
25 And thei schulen haue kepyngis in the tabernacle of boond of pees, the tabernacle it silf, and the hilyng therof, the tente which is drawun bifor the yatis of the hilyng of the witnessyng of boond of pees;
Was aber die Kinder Gerson an der Stiftshütte zu besorgen haben, das ist die Wohnung und das Zelt, seine Decke, und den Vorhang in der Tür der Stiftshütte,
26 and the curteyns of the greet street, also the tente which is hangid in the entryng of the greet street of the tabernacle, and what euer thing perteyneth to the custom of the auter, the cordis of the tabernacle, and al the purtenaunce therof.
und die Vorhänge am Vorhof, und den Vorhang in der Tür des Vorhofs, welcher rings um die Wohnung und um den Altar her ist, dazu die Zeltstricke und alles, was zu ihrem Dienst gehört.
27 The kynrede of Caath schal haue the puplis of Amram, and of Jessaar, and of Ebron, and of Oziel;
Von Kahat stammt das Geschlecht der Amramiter, der Jizhariter, der Hebroniter und Ussieliter. Das sind die Geschlechter der Kahaliter.
28 these ben the meynees of Caathitis, noumbrid bi her names, alle of male kynde, fro o monethe and aboue, eiyte thousynde and sixe hundrid.
Was männlich war, einen Monat alt und darüber, belief sich an der Zahl auf 8600, die das Heiligtum besorgten.
29 Thei schulen haue kepyngis of the seyntuarie, and schulen sette tentis at the south coost;
Die Geschlechter der Kinder Kahats sollen sich lagern an die Seite der Wohnung gegen Mittag.
30 and `the prince of hem schal be Elisaphan, the sone of Oziel.
Und der Fürst des Stammhauses der Kahatiter sei Elizaphan, der Sohn Ussiels.
31 And thei schulen kepe the arke, and the boord, and the candilstike, the auters, and vesselis of the seyntuarie in whiche it is mynystrid, and the veil, and al sich purtenaunce.
Und sie sollen warten der Lade, des Tisches, des Leuchters, der Altäre und der Geräte des Heiligtums, mit welchen sie dienen, auch des Vorhangs, und was zu diesem Dienst gehört.
32 Sotheli the prince of princis of Leuytis schal be Eleazar, the sone of Aaron, preest; and he schal be on the keperis of the kepyng of the seyntuarie.
Aber der oberste Fürst der Leviten soll sein Eleasar, der Sohn Aarons, des Priesters, mit der Aufsicht über die, welche des Heiligtums warten.
33 And sotheli of Merary schulen be the puplis of Mooli, and of Musi,
Von Merari stammt das Geschlecht der Machliter und Muschiter. Das sind die Geschlechter der Merariter.
34 noumbrid bi her names, alle of male kynde fro o monethe and aboue, sixe thousynde and two hundrid;
Die Zahl ihrer Gemusterten von allem, was männlich war, einen Monat alt und darüber, betrug 6200.
35 `the prince of hem schal be Suriel, the sone of Abiahiel; thei schulen sette tentis in the north coost.
Und der Oberste des Stammhauses der Merariter sei Zuriel, der Sohn Abichails; und sie sollen sich lagern an der Seite der Wohnung gegen Mitternacht.
36 And vndur `the kepyng of hem schulen be the tablis of the tabernacle, and the barris, and the pileris, and `the foundementis of tho, and alle thingis that perteynen to sich ournyng,
Und das Hüteramt der Merariter soll sein, zu warten der Bretter und Riegel und Säulen und der Füße der Wohnung, und aller ihrer Geräte und ihres ganzen Dienstes,
37 and the pileris of the greet street bi cumpas, with her foundementis, and the stakis with coordis.
dazu der Säulen um den Vorhof her, mit ihren Füßen und Nägeln und Seilen.
38 Forsothe Moises and Aaron with hise sones schulen sette tentis bifor the tabernacle of boond of pees, that is, at the eest coost, and schulen haue the keping of the seyntuarie, in the myddis of the sones of Israel; what euer alien neiyeth, he schal die.
Aber vor der Wohnung, vor der Stiftshütte, gegen Morgen, sollen sich lagern Mose und Aaron und seine Söhne, die Besorgung des Heiligtums zu überwachen, zur Bewahrung der Kinder Israel. Wenn ein Fremder naht, so muß er sterben.
39 Alle the Leuytis, whiche Moises and Aaron noumbriden, bi comaundement of the Lord, bi her meynees, in male kynde, fro o monethe and aboue, were two and twenti thousynd.
Alle gemusterten Leviten, welche Mose und Aaron musterten nach ihren Geschlechtern, nach dem Wort des Herrn, alles, was männlich war, einen Monat alt und darüber, derer waren 22000.
40 And the Lord seide to Moises, Noumbre thou the firste gendrid children of male kynde of the sones of Israel, fro o monethe and aboue; and thou schalt haue the summe of hem; and
Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Mustere alle männliche Erstgeburt der Kinder Israel, von einem Monat an und darüber und zähle ihre Namen!
41 thou schalt take Leuytis to me for alle the firste gendrid of the sones of Israel; Y am the Lord; and thou schalt take `the beestis of hem for alle the firste gendrid of the sones of Israel.
Und du sollst die Leviten mir, dem HERRN, nehmen, an Stelle aller Erstgeburt unter den Kindern Israel, und der Leviten Vieh an Stelle aller Erstgeburt unter dem Vieh der Kinder Israel.
42 And as the Lord comaundide, Moises noumbride the firste gendrid children of the sones of Israel; and the males weren bi her names,
Und Mose musterte, wie der HERR ihm geboten hatte, alle Erstgeburt unter den Kindern Israel.
43 fro o monethe and aboue, two and twenti thousynde two hundrid and seuenti and thre.
Da belief sich die Zahl der Namen aller männlichen Erstgeborenen von einem Monat an und darüber, auf 22273.
44 And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide,
Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach:
45 Take thou Leuytis for the firste gendrid children of the sones of Israel, and the beestis of Leuytis for the beestis of hem, and the Leuytis schulen be myne; Y am the Lord.
Nimm die Leviten für alle Erstgeburt unter den Kindern Israel, und das Vieh der Leviten für ihr Vieh, daß die Leviten mein seien, mir, dem HERRN.
46 Forsothe in the prijs of two hundrid seuenti and thre, that passen the noumbre of `Leuytis, of the firste gendrid children of the sones of Israel,
Aber als Lösegeld für die 273 überzähligen Erstgeborenen der Kinder Israel über der Leviten Zahl,
47 thou schalt take fyue ciclis bi ech heed, at the mesure of seyntuarie; a sicle hath xx. halpens;
sollst du je fünf Schekel erheben für jeden Kopf, und zwar sollst du es erheben nach dem Schekel des Heiligtums (ein Schekel macht zwanzig Gera);
48 and thou schalt yyue the money to Aaron and to hise sones, the prijs of hem that ben aboue.
und du sollst dieses Geld als Lösegeld der Überzähligen Aaron und seinen Söhnen geben.
49 Therfor Moises took the money of hem that weren aboue, and whiche thei hadden ayenbouyt of the Leuytis, for the firste gendrid of the sones of Israel,
Da nahm Mose das Lösegeld von denen, die die Zahl der durch die Leviten Gelösten überstieg;
50 a thousand thre hundrid sixti and fyue of siclis, bi the weiyte of seyntuarie;
von den Erstgeborenen der Kinder Israel erhob er 1365 Schekel, nach dem Schekel des Heiligtums.
51 and he yaf that money to Aaron and to hise sones, bi the word which the Lord comaundide to hym.
Und Mose gab das Geld Aaron und seinen Söhnen, nach dem Wort des HERRN, wie der HERR Mose geboten hatte.
