Numbers 27
1 Forsothe the douytris of Salphaat, sone of Epher, sone of Galaad, sone of Machir, sone of Manasses, that was `the sone of Joseph, neiyeden; of whiche douytris these ben the names; Maala, and Noha, and Egla, and Melcha, and Thersa.
Y las hijas de Zelofehad, hijo de Hefer, hijo de Galaad, hijo de Maquir, hijo de Manasés, de las familias de Manasés, hijo de José, los nombres de las cuales eran Maala, y Noa, y Hogla, y Milca, y Tirsa, llegaron;
2 And thei stoden bifore Moises, and Eleazar, preest, and alle the princes of the puple, at the dore of tabernacle of boond of pees; and seiden,
y se presentaron delante de Moisés, y delante del sacerdote Eleazar, y delante de los príncipes, y de toda la congregación, a la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, y dijeron:
3 Oure fadir was deed in the deseert, nether he was in the rebelte, that was reisid ayens the Lord, vndur Chore, but he was deed in his synne; he hadde no male sones. Whi is `the name of hym takun awei fro his meynee, for he hath no sone? Yif ye possessioun to vs among `the kynesmen of oure fadir.
Nuestro padre murió en el desierto, el cual no estuvo en la congregación que se reunió contra el SEÑOR en la compañía de Coré; sino que en su pecado murió, y no tuvo hijos.
4 And Moises telde `the cause of hem to the doom of the Lord;
¿Por qué será quitado el nombre de nuestro padre de entre su familia, por no haber tenido hijo? Danos heredad entre los hermanos de nuestro padre.
5 which seide to Moyses, The douytris of Salphaath axen a iust thing; yyue thou possessioun to hem among `the kynnysmen of her fadir,
Y Moisés llevó su causa delante del SEÑOR.
6 and be thei successouris to hym in to eritage.
Y el SEÑOR respondió a Moisés, diciendo:
7 Forsothe thou schalt speke these thingis to the sons of Israel,
Derecho piden las hijas de Zelofehad; les darás posesión de heredad entre los hermanos de su padre; y traspasarás la heredad de su padre a ellas.
8 Whanne a man is deed with out sone, the eritage schal go to his douyter;
Y a los hijos de Israel hablarás, diciendo: Cuando alguno muriere sin hijo, traspasaréis su herencia a su hija;
9 if he hath not a douyter, he schal haue eiris his britheren;
y si no tuviere hija, daréis su herencia a sus hermanos;
10 that and if britheren ben not, ye schulen yyue the eritage to `the britheren of his fadir;
y si no tuviere hermanos, daréis su herencia a los hermanos de su padre.
11 forsothe if he hath no britheren of his fadir, the eritage schal be youun to hem that ben next to hym. And this schal be hooli, `that is, stidefast, bi euerlastynge lawe to the sones of Israel, as the Lord comaundide to Moises.
Y si su padre no tuviere hermanos, daréis su herencia a su pariente más cercano de su linaje, el cual la herederá; y será a los hijos de Israel por ley de derecho, como el SEÑOR mandó a Moisés.
12 Also the Lord seide to Moises, Stie thou in to this hil of Aberym, and biholde thou fro thennus the lond, which Y schal yyue to the sones of Israel.
Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Sube a este monte Abarim, y verás la tierra que he dado a los hijos de Israel.
13 And whanne thou hast seyn it, also thou schalt go to thi puple, as thi brother Aaron yede;
Y después que la hayas visto, tú también serás reunido a tus pueblos, como fue reunido tu hermano Aarón.
14 for thou offenddidist me in the deseert of Syn, in the ayen seiyng of the multitude, nether woldist halewe me bifor it, on the watris. These ben the watris of ayen seiyng, in Cades, of the deseert of Syn.
Pues fuisteis rebeldes a mi dicho en el desierto de Zin, en la rencilla de la congregación, para santificarme en las aguas a ojos de ellos. Estas son las aguas de Meriba de Cades en el desierto de Zin.
15 To whom Moises answeryde,
Entonces respondió Moisés al SEÑOR, diciendo:
16 The Lord God of spiritis of al fleisch puruey a man, that be on this multitude,
Ponga el SEÑOR, Dios de los espíritus de toda carne, varón sobre la congregación,
17 and may go out, and entre bifor hem, and lede hem out, and lede hem yn, lest the `puple of the Lord be as scheep with out schepherde.
que salga delante de ellos, y que entre delante de ellos, que los saque y los introduzca; para que la congregación del SEÑOR no sea como ovejas sin pastor.
18 And the Lord seide to hym, Take thou Josue, the sone of Nun, a man in whom the spyrit of God is, and set thin hond on hym; and he schal stonde bifore Eleazar,
Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Toma a Josué hijo de Nun, varón en el cual hay espíritu, y pondrás tu mano sobre él;
19 preest, and bifore al the multitude.
y lo pondrás delante de Eleazar el sacerdote, y delante de toda la congregación; y le darás mandamientos en presencia de ellos.
20 And thou schalt yyue to hym comaundementis, in the siyt of alle men, and a part of thi glorie, that al the synagoge of the sones of Israel here hym.
Y pondrás de tu resplandor sobre él, para que toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel le oiga.
21 If ony thing schal be worthi to be do for this man, Eleasar, preest, schal counseil the Lord; he schal go out, and schal go yn, at the word of Eleazar; he, and alle the sones of Israel with him, and the tother multitude.
Y él estará delante de Eleazar el sacerdote, y a él preguntará por el juicio del Urim delante del SEÑOR; por el dicho de él saldrán, y por el dicho de él entrarán, él, y todos los hijos de Israel con él, y toda la congregación.
22 Moises dide as the Lord comaundide, and whanne he hadde take Josue, he settide hym bifore Eleazar, preest, and bifore al the multitude of the puple;
Y Moisés hizo como el SEÑOR le había mandado; que tomó a Josué, y le puso delante de Eleazar el sacerdote, y de toda la congregación;
23 and whanne he hadde set hondis on his heed, he reherside alle thingis whiche the Lord comaundide.
y puso sobre él sus manos, y le dio mandamientos, como el SEÑOR había mandado por mano de Moisés.
