Numbers 11
1 Yn the meene tyme the grutchyng of the puple, as of men sorewynge for trauel, roos ayens the Lord. And whanne Moises hadde herd this thing, he was wrooth; and the fier of the Lord was kyndelid on hem, and deuouride the laste part of the tentis.
१इस्राएल लोक आपल्या त्रासाबद्दल कुरकुर करू लागले तसे परमेश्वराने ऐकले. परमेश्वराने लोकांचे ऐकले आणि तो रागावला. परमेश्वरापासूनचा अग्नी त्यांच्यात पेटला आणि त्याने छावणीच्या हद्दीवरचे काही भाग भस्म केले.
2 And whanne the puple hadde cried to Moises, Moises preiede the Lord, and the fier was quenchid.
२तेव्हा लोकांनी मोशेकडे मदतीसाठी ओरड केली. मोशेने परमेश्वरास विनंती केली तेव्हा अग्नी विझला.
3 And he clepid the name of that place Brennyng, for the fier of the Lord was kyndlid ayens hem.
३त्यामुळे त्या ठिकाणाचे नांव तबेरा असे पडले. लोकांनी त्या ठिकाणाला तसे नांव दिले कारण परमेश्वराच्या अग्नीमुळे छावणीचा भाग जळून गेला.
4 And the comyn puple of `malis and femalis, that hadde stied with hem, brent with desire of fleischis, and sat, and wepte with the sones of Israel ioyned togidere to hem, and seide, Who schal yyue to vs fleischis to ete?
४जे परराष्ट्रीय इस्राएल लोकाबरोबर राहत होते, त्यांना चांगले अन्न खावेसे वाटू लागले. इस्राएल लोकांनी तक्रार व रडण्यास करण्यास सुरवात केली. “आम्हांला मांस खावयास कोण देईल?
5 We thenken on the fischis whiche we eten in Egipt freli; gourdis, and melouns, and lekis, and oyniouns, and garlekis comen in to mynde `to vs;
५मिसरमध्ये आम्हास मासे फुकट खाण्यास मिळत होते. त्याचप्रमाणे तेथे आम्हास काकड्या, खरबूजे, फळभाजी, कांदे, लसूण मिळत असे त्याची आठवण आम्हास येते.
6 oure soule is drie; oure iyen byholden noon other thing `no but manna.
६आता आम्ही कमजोर झालो आहोत. मान्न्याशिवाय आम्ही येथे काहीच पाहत नाही!”
7 Forsothe manna was as the seed of coriaundre, of the colour of bdellyum, which is whijt and briyt as cristal.
७हा मान्ना धण्याच्या बीसारखा होता, त्याचा रंग मोत्यासारखा होता.
8 And the puple yede aboute, and gaderide it, and brak with a queerne stoon, ether pownede in a morter, and sethide in a pot; and made therof litle cakis of the sauour, as of breed maad with oile.
८लोक तो चोहोकडे फिरून गोळा करीत. तो जात्यात दळीत किंवा उखळात कुटीत, भांड्यात शिजवीत व त्याच्या भाकरी करीत. त्याची चव ताज्या जैतून तेलात तळलेल्या पुरीसारखी लागत असे.
9 And whanne dew cam doun in the niyt on the tentis, also manna cam doun togidere.
९जेव्हा रात्री छावणीवर दहिवर पडले म्हणजे मान्नासुध्दा पडत असे.
10 Therfor Moises herde the puple wepynge bi meynees, and `alle bi hem silf bi the doris of her tentis; and the woodnesse of the Lord was wrooth greetli, but also the thing was seyn vnsuffrable to Moises.
१०सर्व लोक त्यांच्या कुटुंबात रडत असल्याचा आवाज मोशेने ऐकला. आणि प्रत्येक मनुष्य आपापल्या तंबूच्या दाराशी बसून रडत होते. परमेश्वराचा राग भयंकर भडकला आणि मोशेच्या दृष्टीने त्यांची तक्रार चूक होती.
11 And he seide to the Lord, Whi hast thou turmentid thi seruaunt? whi fynde Y not grace bifor thee? and whi hast thou put on me the burthun of al this puple?
११मोशे परमेश्वरास म्हणाला, तू आपल्या दासास इतके वाइट का वागवतोस? तू माझ्यावर प्रसन्न नाहीस का? या सर्व लोकांचा भार तू मला वाहण्यास सांगतोस.
12 whethir Y conseyuede al this multitude, ethir gendride it, that thou seie to me, Bere thou hem in thi bosum as a nurise is wont to bere a litil yong child, and bere thou in to the lond for which thou hast swore to the fadris `of hem.
१२मी या लोकांचे गर्भधारण केले काय? मी त्यांना जन्म दिला आहे का म्हणून तू म्हणतोस की, जसा पिता आपल्या बाळाला छातीशी धरून घेऊन जातो तसे मी त्यांना न्यावे? जो देश देण्याविषयी त्यांच्या पूर्वजांना तू शपथ दिली त्यांना मी घेऊन जावे का?
13 wherof ben fleischis to me, that Y `yyue to so greet multitude? Thei wepen bifore me, and seyn, `Yyue thou fleischis to vs that we ete;
१३एवढ्या लोकांस पुरेल एवढे मांस देण्यासाठी मी कोठे शोधू? ते माझ्याकडे आसवे गाळून रडत आहेत, ते म्हणतात आम्हास खावयास मांस दे!
14 I mai not aloone suffre al this puple, for it is greuouse to me.
१४मी एकटा या सर्वांची काळजी घेऊ शकत नाही. हे माझ्यासाठी फारच जड आहे.
15 If in other maner it semeth to thee, Y biseche that thou sle me, and that Y fynde grace in thin iyen, that Y be not punyschid bi so grete yuelis.
१५जर तू मला अशा मार्गाने वागवतोस, तुझी दया माझ्यावर असल्यास मला आता मारुन टाक आणि माझे दुःख दूर कर.
16 And the Lord seide to Moises, Gadere thou to me seuenti men of the eldre men of Israel, whiche thou knowist, `that thei ben the elde men and maistris of the puple; and thou schalt lede hem to the dore of the tabernacle of boond of pees, and thou schalt make to stonde there with thee,
१६परमेश्वर मोशेला म्हणाला, इस्राएलाच्या वडिलांचे सत्तर मनुष्ये मजकडे आण. मंडळीचे नेते असलेल्या या लोकांस दर्शनमंडपाच्या दारापाशी आण; व तुझ्याबरोबर त्यांना उभे कर.
17 that Y come doun, and speke to thee; and Y schal take awey of thi spirit, and Y schal yyue to hem, that thei susteyne with thee the birthun of the puple, and not thou aloone be greuyd.
१७मग मी खाली येऊन तेथे तुझ्याशी बोलेन. मग तुझ्यावर असलेल्या आत्म्यातून काही भाग मी त्यांनाही देईन. मग लोकांची काळजी घेण्यास ते तुला मदत करतील. ह्याप्रकारे इस्राएल लोकांची जबाबदारी केवळ तुझ्या एकट्यावर राहणार नाही.
18 And thou schalt seie to the puple, Be ye halewid; to morew ye schulen ete fleischis; for Y herde you seie, Who schal yyue to vs the metis of fleischis? it was wel to vs in Egipt; that the Lord yyue `fleischis to you,
१८लोकांस सांग उद्या तुम्ही स्वत: शुद्ध राहा म्हणजे तुम्हास मांस खावयास मिळेल. परमेश्वराने तुमचे रडगाणे ऐकले आहे. आम्हास मांस खाण्यास पाहिजे! आम्ही मिसरमध्ये होतो ते बरे होते, असे तुम्ही म्हणाला ते शब्दही परमेश्वराने ऐकले आहेत. तेव्हा आता परमेश्वर तुम्हास मांस देईल आणि तुम्ही ते खाल.
19 and that ye ete not o dai, ethir tweyne, ethir fyue, ethir ten, sotheli nether twenti,
१९तुम्ही ते एक, किंवा दोन, किंवा पाच, किंवा दहा दिवस, वीस दिवसच नाही तर,
20 but `til to a monethe of daies, til it go out bi youre nosethirlis, and turne in to wlatyng; for ye han put awei the Lord, which is in the myddis of you, and ye wepten bifor hym, and seiden, Whi yeden we out of Egipt?
२०परंतु तुम्ही ते पूर्ण महिनाभर तुमच्या नाकपुड्यातून निघेपर्यंत आणि तुम्हास शिसारी येईपर्यंत तुम्ही ते खाल. कारण तुम्ही जो परमेश्वर तुम्हामध्ये राहतो त्यास तुम्ही नाकारले आहे. तुम्ही त्याच्यासमोर रडला. तुम्ही म्हणाला, आम्ही मिसर देश का सोडला?
21 And Moises seide to the Lord, Sixe hundrid thousynde of foot men ben of this puple, and thou seist, Y schal yyue to hem `mete of fleischis an hool monethe.
२१नंतर मोशे म्हणाला, परमेश्वरा येथे सहा लाख लोक आहेत आणि तू म्हणतोस की, ह्याना पूर्ण महिनाभर पुरेल एवढे मांस मी खावयास देईन!
22 Whether the multitude of scheep and of oxun schal be slayn, that it may suffice to mete, ethir alle the fischis of the see schulen be gaderid to gidere, that tho fille hem?
२२आम्ही त्यांना तृप्त करावे म्हणून शेरडेमेंढरे व गुरेढोर कापावीत काय? किंवा समुद्रातील सर्व मासे त्यांच्यासाठी गोळा करून आणावे काय?
23 To whom the Lord answeride, Whether the `hond of the Lord is vnmyyti? riyt now thou schalt se, wher my word schal be fillid in werk.
२३परमेश्वर मोशेला म्हणाला, “माझा हात तोकडा आहे काय? आता माझे शब्द खरे आहेत की नाही हे तू पाहशील.”
24 Therfor Moises cam, and telde to the puple the wordis of the Lord; and he gaderide seuenti men of the eldere of Israel, whiche he made stonde aboute the tabernacle.
२४मोशे बाहेर गेला आणि परमेश्वर जे बोलला ते लोकांस सांगितले. मग मोशेने मंडळीच्या सत्तर वडिलांना एकत्र जमविले आणि त्याने त्यांना तंबू सभोवती उभे केले.
25 And the Lord cam doun bi a cloude, and spak to Moises, and took a weye of the spirit that was in Moises, and yaf to the seuenti men; and whanne the spirit hadde restid in hem, thei profesieden, and ceessiden not `aftirward.
२५मग परमेश्वर ढगात उतरून आला आणि मोशेशी बोलला. मोशेवर परमेश्वराचा आत्मा होता. त्यातून काही घेऊन परमेश्वराने ते त्या सत्तर वडिलावर ठेवला. तो आत्मा आल्यावर ते संदेश सांगू लागले. परंतु त्यानंतर मात्र त्यांनी पुन्हा संदेश सांगितला नाही.
26 Forsothe twei men dwelliden stille in the tentis, of whiche men oon was clepid Heldad, and the tothir Medad, on whiche the spirit restide; for also thei weren descryued, and thei yeden not out to the tabernacle.
२६त्यातील दोन वडील एलदाद व मेदाद छावणीच्या बाहेर गेले नाहीत. त्यांची नांवे वडीलांच्या यादीत होती. परंतु ते छावणीतच राहिले; त्यामुळे आत्मा त्यांच्यावरही आला आणि ते छावणीतच संदेश सांगू लागले.
27 And whanne thei profesieden in the tentis, a child ran, and teld to Moises, and seide, Heldad and Medad profecien in the tentis.
२७तेव्हा एका तरुणाने पळत जाऊन मोशेला हे सांगितले. तो म्हणाला, एलदाद व मेदाद हे छावणीत संदेश सांगत आहेत.
28 Anoon Josue, the sone of Nun, the `mynystre of Moises, and chosun of manye, seide, My lord Moises, forbede thou hem.
२८तेव्हा नूनाचा मुलगा यहोशवा मोशेला म्हणाला, मोशे, माझे स्वामी तुम्ही त्यांना बंदी घाला. यहोशवा तरुण असल्यापासून मोशेचा मदतनीस होता.
29 And he seide, What hast thou enuye for me? who yyueth that al the puple profesie, and that God yyue his spirit to hem?
२९मोशेने त्यास उत्तर दिले, माझ्या प्रतिष्ठेसाठी तू त्यांचा हेवा करतोस काय? परमेश्वराचे सर्वच लोक संदेष्टे असते आणि परमेश्वराने त्या सर्वांवर आपला आत्मा ठेविला असता तर किती बरे होते.
30 And Moises turnede ayen, and the eldre men in birthe of Israel in to the tentis.
३०मग मोशे व इस्राएलाच्या वडीलजनासह छावणीत परत गेला.
31 Forsothe a wynde yede forth fro the Lord, and took curlewis, and bar ouer the see, and lefte in to the tentis, in the iurney, as myche as mai be parformed in o day, bi ech part of the tentis bi cumpas; and tho flowen in the eir bi twei cubitis in `hiynesse ouer the erthe.
३१मग परमेश्वराने समुद्रावरुन जोरदार वारा वाहावयास लाविला. त्या वाऱ्याने लावे पक्षी त्या भागात वाहून आणले. ते लावे पक्षी सर्व छावणीच्या भोंवती उडत राहिले. ते इतके होते की छावणीचे अंगण व सारा परिसर त्यांनी भरुन गेला. त्यांचा जमिनीपासून दोन हात उंचीचा थर साचला. मनुष्य एक दिवसभरात जितका दूर चालत जाईल तिथपर्यंत तो थर होता.
32 Therfor the puple roos in al that dai and nyyt and in to the tothir dai, and gaderide the multitude of curlewis; he that gaderide litil, gaderide ten `mesuris clepid chorus; `and o chorus conteyneth ten buschels; and thei drieden tho curlewis bi the cumpas of the tentis.
३२लोक बाहेर पडले व त्यांनी दिवसभर व रात्रभर लावे पक्षी गोळा केले आणि त्यांनी पूर्ण दुसरा दिवसभरही ते गोळा केले. ज्याने सर्वात कमी गोळा केले पक्षी त्यांचे दहा होमर भरले. त्यांनी लावे पक्षी सर्व छावणी सभोवती पसरून ठेवले.
33 Yit `fleischis weren in the teeth `of hem, and siche mete failide not; and lo! the woodnesse of the Lord was reisid ayens the puple, and smoot it with a ful greet veniaunce.
३३ते मांस त्यांच्या दातात होते, ते चावण्याच्या आधीच परमेश्वराचा राग त्यांच्यावर भयंकर भडकला. त्यांने लोकांचा भयंकर आजाराने संहार केला.
34 And thilke place was clepid The sepulcris of coueitise, for there thei birieden the puple that desiride fleischis.
३४त्या जागेला किब्रोथ-हत्तव्वा असे नांव दिले. कारण ज्या लोकांस मांस खाण्याची अतिशय तीव्र इच्छा झाली होती त्यांना तेथे पुरण्यात आले.
35 Sotheli thei yeden `out of the sepulcris of coueitise, and camen in to Asseroth, and dwelliden there.
३५किब्रोथ-हत्तव्वापासून लोकांनी हसेरोथ गावापर्यंत प्रवास केला व तेथे त्यांनी मुक्काम केला.
