Numbers 11
1 Yn the meene tyme the grutchyng of the puple, as of men sorewynge for trauel, roos ayens the Lord. And whanne Moises hadde herd this thing, he was wrooth; and the fier of the Lord was kyndelid on hem, and deuouride the laste part of the tentis.
I stalo se, že lid ztěžoval a stýskal sobě, což se nelíbilo Hospodinu. Protož, slyše to Hospodin, rozhněval se náramně, a roznítil se proti nim oheň Hospodinův, a spálil zadní díl vojska.
2 And whanne the puple hadde cried to Moises, Moises preiede the Lord, and the fier was quenchid.
Tedy volal lid k Mojžíšovi. I modlil se Mojžíš Hospodinu, a uhasl oheň.
3 And he clepid the name of that place Brennyng, for the fier of the Lord was kyndlid ayens hem.
I nazval jméno místa toho Tabbera; nebo rozpálil se proti nim oheň Hospodinův.
4 And the comyn puple of `malis and femalis, that hadde stied with hem, brent with desire of fleischis, and sat, and wepte with the sones of Israel ioyned togidere to hem, and seide, Who schal yyue to vs fleischis to ete?
Lid pak k nim přimíšený napadla žádost náramná; a obrátivše se, plakali i synové Izraelští a řekli: Kdo nám to dá, abychom se masa najedli?
5 We thenken on the fischis whiche we eten in Egipt freli; gourdis, and melouns, and lekis, and oyniouns, and garlekis comen in to mynde `to vs;
Rozpomínáme se na ryby, jichž jsme dosti v Egyptě darmo jídali, na okurky a melouny, též na por, cibuli a česnek.
6 oure soule is drie; oure iyen byholden noon other thing `no but manna.
A nyní duše naše vyprahlá, nic jiného nemá, kromě tu mannu před očima svýma.
7 Forsothe manna was as the seed of coriaundre, of the colour of bdellyum, which is whijt and briyt as cristal.
(Manna pak byla jako semeno koliandrové, a barva její jako barva bdelium.
8 And the puple yede aboute, and gaderide it, and brak with a queerne stoon, ether pownede in a morter, and sethide in a pot; and made therof litle cakis of the sauour, as of breed maad with oile.
I vycházíval lid, a sbírali a mleli žernovy, neb tloukli v moždířích, a smažili na pánvici, aneb koláče podpopelné dělali z ní; chut pak její byla jako chut nového oleje.
9 And whanne dew cam doun in the niyt on the tentis, also manna cam doun togidere.
Když pak sstupovala rosa na vojsko v noci, tedy sstupovala také i manna.)
10 Therfor Moises herde the puple wepynge bi meynees, and `alle bi hem silf bi the doris of her tentis; and the woodnesse of the Lord was wrooth greetli, but also the thing was seyn vnsuffrable to Moises.
Tedy uslyšel Mojžíš, an lid pláče po čeledech svých, každý u dveří stanu svého. Pročež roznítila se prchlivost Hospodinova náramně; Mojžíšovi to také těžké bylo.
11 And he seide to the Lord, Whi hast thou turmentid thi seruaunt? whi fynde Y not grace bifor thee? and whi hast thou put on me the burthun of al this puple?
I řekl Mojžíš Hospodinu: Proč jsi tak zle učinil služebníku svému? Proč jsem nenalezl milosti před očima tvýma, že jsi vložil břímě všeho lidu tohoto na mne?
12 whethir Y conseyuede al this multitude, ethir gendride it, that thou seie to me, Bere thou hem in thi bosum as a nurise is wont to bere a litil yong child, and bere thou in to the lond for which thou hast swore to the fadris `of hem.
Zdaliž jsem já počal všecken lid tento? Zdali jsem já zplodil jej, že mi díš: Nes jej na rukou svých, jako nosí chůva děťátko, do země té, kterouž jsi s přísahou zaslíbil otcům jejich?
13 wherof ben fleischis to me, that Y `yyue to so greet multitude? Thei wepen bifore me, and seyn, `Yyue thou fleischis to vs that we ete;
Kde mám nabrati masa, abych dal všemu lidu tomuto? Nebo plačí na mne, řkouce: Dej nám masa, ať jíme.
14 I mai not aloone suffre al this puple, for it is greuouse to me.
Nemohuť já sám nésti všeho lidu tohoto, nebo jest to nad možnost mou.
15 If in other maner it semeth to thee, Y biseche that thou sle me, and that Y fynde grace in thin iyen, that Y be not punyschid bi so grete yuelis.
Pakli mi tak dělati chceš, prosím, zabí mne raději, jestliže jsem nalezl milost před očima tvýma, abych více nehleděl na trápení své.
16 And the Lord seide to Moises, Gadere thou to me seuenti men of the eldre men of Israel, whiche thou knowist, `that thei ben the elde men and maistris of the puple; and thou schalt lede hem to the dore of the tabernacle of boond of pees, and thou schalt make to stonde there with thee,
Tedy řekl Hospodin Mojžíšovi: Shromažď mi sedmdesáte mužů z starších Izraelských, kteréž znáš, že jsou starší v lidu a správcové jeho; i přivedeš je ke dveřím stánku úmluvy, a státi budou tam s tebou.
17 that Y come doun, and speke to thee; and Y schal take awey of thi spirit, and Y schal yyue to hem, that thei susteyne with thee the birthun of the puple, and not thou aloone be greuyd.
A já sstoupím a mluviti budu s tebou, a vezmu z ducha, kterýž jest na tobě, a dám jim. I ponesou s tebou břímě lidu, a tak ty ho sám neponeseš.
18 And thou schalt seie to the puple, Be ye halewid; to morew ye schulen ete fleischis; for Y herde you seie, Who schal yyue to vs the metis of fleischis? it was wel to vs in Egipt; that the Lord yyue `fleischis to you,
Lidu pak díš: Posvěťtež se k zítřku, a budete jísti maso; nebo jste plakali v uších Hospodinových, řkouce: Kdo nám dá najísti se masa? Jistě že lépe nám bylo v Egyptě. I dá vám Hospodin masa, a budete jísti.
19 and that ye ete not o dai, ethir tweyne, ethir fyue, ethir ten, sotheli nether twenti,
Nebudete toliko jeden den jísti, ani dva, ani pět, ani deset, ani dvadcet,
20 but `til to a monethe of daies, til it go out bi youre nosethirlis, and turne in to wlatyng; for ye han put awei the Lord, which is in the myddis of you, and ye wepten bifor hym, and seiden, Whi yeden we out of Egipt?
Ale za celý měsíc, až vám chřípěmi poleze, a zoškliví se, proto že jste pohrdli Hospodinem, kterýž jest u prostřed vás, a plakali jste před ním, říkajíce: Proč jsme vyšli z Egypta?
21 And Moises seide to the Lord, Sixe hundrid thousynde of foot men ben of this puple, and thou seist, Y schal yyue to hem `mete of fleischis an hool monethe.
I řekl Mojžíš: Šestkrát sto tisíců pěších jest tohoto lidu, mezi nimiž já jsem, a ty pravíš: Dám jim masa, aby jedli za celý měsíc.
22 Whether the multitude of scheep and of oxun schal be slayn, that it may suffice to mete, ethir alle the fischis of the see schulen be gaderid to gidere, that tho fille hem?
Zdali ovcí a volů nabije se jim, aby jim postačilo? Aneb zdali všecky ryby mořské shromáždí se jim, aby jim dosti bylo?
23 To whom the Lord answeride, Whether the `hond of the Lord is vnmyyti? riyt now thou schalt se, wher my word schal be fillid in werk.
Tedy řekl Hospodin Mojžíšovi: Zdali ruka Hospodinova ukrácena jest? Již nyní uzříš, přijde-li na to, což jsem mluvil, čili nic.
24 Therfor Moises cam, and telde to the puple the wordis of the Lord; and he gaderide seuenti men of the eldere of Israel, whiche he made stonde aboute the tabernacle.
Vyšed tedy Mojžíš, mluvil lidu slova Hospodinova, a shromáždiv sedmdesáte mužů z starších lidu, postavil je vůkol stánku.
25 And the Lord cam doun bi a cloude, and spak to Moises, and took a weye of the spirit that was in Moises, and yaf to the seuenti men; and whanne the spirit hadde restid in hem, thei profesieden, and ceessiden not `aftirward.
I sstoupil Hospodin v oblaku a mluvil k němu, a vzav z ducha, kterýž byl na něm, dal sedmdesáti mužům starším. I stalo se, když odpočinul na nich ten duch, že prorokovali, ale potom nikdy více.
26 Forsothe twei men dwelliden stille in the tentis, of whiche men oon was clepid Heldad, and the tothir Medad, on whiche the spirit restide; for also thei weren descryued, and thei yeden not out to the tabernacle.
Byli pak zůstali v staních dva muži, jméno jednoho Eldad, a druhého Medad, na nichž také odpočinul duch ten, nebo i oni napsáni byli, ačkoli nevyšli k stánku. I ti také prorokovali v staních.
27 And whanne thei profesieden in the tentis, a child ran, and teld to Moises, and seide, Heldad and Medad profecien in the tentis.
Tedy přiběh služebník, oznámil to Mojžíšovi, řka: Eldad a Medad prorokují v staních.
28 Anoon Josue, the sone of Nun, the `mynystre of Moises, and chosun of manye, seide, My lord Moises, forbede thou hem.
Jozue pak, syn Nun, služebník Mojžíšův, jeden z mládenců jeho, dí k tomu: Pane můj, Mojžíši, zabraň jim.
29 And he seide, What hast thou enuye for me? who yyueth that al the puple profesie, and that God yyue his spirit to hem?
Jemuž odpověděl Mojžíš: Proč ty horlíš pro mne? Nýbrž ó kdyby všecken lid Hospodinův proroci byli, a aby dal Hospodin ducha svého na ně!
30 And Moises turnede ayen, and the eldre men in birthe of Israel in to the tentis.
I navrátil se Mojžíš do stanů s staršími Izraelskými.
31 Forsothe a wynde yede forth fro the Lord, and took curlewis, and bar ouer the see, and lefte in to the tentis, in the iurney, as myche as mai be parformed in o day, bi ech part of the tentis bi cumpas; and tho flowen in the eir bi twei cubitis in `hiynesse ouer the erthe.
Tedy strhl se vítr od Hospodina, a zachvátiv křepelky od moře, spustil je na stany tak široce a dlouze, co by mohl za jeden den cesty ujíti všudy vůkol táboru, takměř na dva lokty zvýší nad zemí.
32 Therfor the puple roos in al that dai and nyyt and in to the tothir dai, and gaderide the multitude of curlewis; he that gaderide litil, gaderide ten `mesuris clepid chorus; `and o chorus conteyneth ten buschels; and thei drieden tho curlewis bi the cumpas of the tentis.
Protož vstav lid, celý ten den a celou noc, i celý druhý den shromažďovali sobě ty křepelky; a kdož nejméně nashromáždil, měl jich s deset měr. I rozvěšeli je sobě pořád okolo stanů.
33 Yit `fleischis weren in the teeth `of hem, and siche mete failide not; and lo! the woodnesse of the Lord was reisid ayens the puple, and smoot it with a ful greet veniaunce.
Ještě maso vězelo v zubích jejich, a nebylo právě sžvýkáno, když hněv Hospodinův vzbudil se na lid. I ranil Hospodin lid ranou velikou náramně.
34 And thilke place was clepid The sepulcris of coueitise, for there thei birieden the puple that desiride fleischis.
Protož nazváno jest jméno místa toho Kibrot Hattáve; nebo tu pochovali lid, kterýž žádal masa.
35 Sotheli thei yeden `out of the sepulcris of coueitise, and camen in to Asseroth, and dwelliden there.
I bral se lid z Kibrot Hattáve na poušť Hazerot, a pozůstali v Hazerot.
