Et le reste du peuple, les prêtres, les Lévites, les portiers et les chantres, les Nathinéens, et tous ceux qui s’étaient séparés des peuples de la terre pour la loi de Dieu, leurs femmes, leurs fils et leurs filles,
29 alle that myyten vndurstonde, bihetynge for her britheren, the principal men of hem, `and thei that camen to biheete, and to swere, that thei schulden go in the lawe of the Lord, which he `hadde youe bi the hond of Moyses, his seruaunt, that thei schulden do and kepe alle the heestis of `oure Lord God, and hise domes, and hise cerymonyes; and that we schulden not yyue
Tous ceux qui pouvaient être éclairés, répondant pour leurs frères; les grands aussi; enfin tous ceux qui venaient pour promettre et jurer qu’ils marcheraient dans la loi de Dieu, qu’il avait donnée par l’entremise de Moïse, serviteur de Dieu, qu’ils accompliraient et garderaient tous les commandements du Seigneur notre Dieu, et ses ordonnances et ses cérémonies,
30 oure douytris to the puple of the lond, and that we schulden not take her douytris to oure sones.
Que nous ne donnerions point nos filles au peuple du pays, et que nous ne prendrions point leurs filles pour nos fils.
31 Also the puplis of the lond, `that bryngen in thingis set to sale, and alle thingis to vss, bi the dai of sabat, for to sille, we schulen not take of hem in the sabat, and in a dai halewid; and we schulen leeue the seuenthe yeer, and the axynge of al hond.
De plus, quant aux peuples du pays qui importent des objets de vente de toute sorte de choses de consommation, au jour du Sabbat, pour les vendre, nous ne les accepterons pas d’eux pendant le Sabbat, et en un jour sanctifié. Nous abandonnerons aussi la septième année et l’exaction de toute main.
32 And we schulen ordeyne comaundementis `on vs, that we yyue the thridde part of a sicle `bi the yeer to the werk of `oure Lord God,
Et nous établirons pour nous comme préceptes de donner par an la troisième partie d’un sicle, pour l’œuvre de la maison de notre Dieu.
33 to the looues of settyngforth, and to the euerlastynge sacrifice, `and in to brent sacrifice euerlastynge, in sabatis, in calendis, `that is, bigynnyngis of monethis, in solempnytees, in halewid daies, and for synne, that `me preie for Israel, and in to al the vss of the hows of oure God.
Pour les pains de proposition, et pour le sacrifice perpétuel, pour l’holocauste perpétuel dans les sabbats, dans les calendes, dans les solennités, et dans les choses sanctifiées et pour le péché, afin que l’on prie pour Israël, et pour le service de la maison de notre Dieu.
34 `Therfor we senten `lottis on the offryng of trees, bitwixe prestis and dekenes and the puple, that tho schulden be brouyt in to the hows of oure God, bi the housis of oure fadris bi tymes, fro the tymes of a yeer `til to a yeer, that `tho schulden brenne on the auter of `oure Lord God, as it is writun in the lawe of Moyses;
Nous jetâmes donc les sorts, pour l’offrande des bois, entre les prêtres, les Lévites et le peuple, afin qu’ils fussent apportés dans la maison de notre Dieu, selon les maisons de nos pères, à des temps marqués, depuis les temps d’une année jusqu’à une autre année, afin qu’ils brûlassent sur l’autel du Seigneur notre Dieu, comme il est écrit dans la loi de Moïse.
35 and that we bringe the firste gendrid thingis of oure lond, and the firste fruytis of al fruyt of ech tree, fro yeer in to yeer,
Nous promîmes aussi et nous jurâmes, que nous apporterions les prémices de notre terre et les prémices de tous les fruits de tout arbre, d’année en année, dans la maison du Seigneur,
36 in to the hows of the Lord, and the firste gendrid thingis of oure sones, and of oure beestis, as it is writun in the lawe, and the firste gendrid thingis of oure oxis, and of oure scheep, that tho be offrid in the hows of oure God, to prestis that mynystren in the hows of oure God;
Et les premiers-nés de nos fils et de nos troupeaux, comme il est écrit dans la loi, et les prémices de nos bœufs et de nos brebis, pour être offerts dans la maison de notre Dieu, aux prêtres qui servent dans la maison de notre Dieu;
37 and we schulen brynge the firste fruytis of oure metis, and of oure moiste sacrifices, and the applis of ech tre, and of vendage, and of oile, to `prestis, at the treserie of the Lord, and the tenthe part of oure lond to dekenes; thilke dekenes schulen take tithis of alle the citees of oure werkis.
Les prémices aussi de nos aliments et de nos libations, et les fruits de tout arbre, de la vigne aussi bien que de l’olivier, nous les apporterons aux prêtres, pour le trésor de notre Dieu, et la dixième partie de notre terre aux Lévites. Eux-mêmes, les Lévites recevront de toutes les villes les dîmes de nos travaux.
38 Sotheli a prest, the sone of Aaron, schal be with the dekenes in the tithis of dekenes; and the dekenes schulen offre the tenthe part of her tithe in the hows of oure God, `at the tresorie, in the hows of tresour.
Et le prêtre, fils d’Aaron, sera avec les Lévites dans les dîmes des Lévites; et les Lévites offriront la dixième partie de leur dîme dans la maison de notre Dieu, au lieu où on garde le trésor, dans la maison du trésor.
39 For the sones of Israel and the sones of Leuy schulen brynge the firste fruytis of wheete, of wiyn, and of oile; and halewid vessels schulen be there, and prestis, and syngeris, and porteris, and mynystris; and we schulen not forsake the hows of `oure God.
Car c’est au lieu où on garde le trésor que les enfants d’Israël et les enfants de Lévi apporteront les prémices du froment, du vin et de l’huile; et là seront les vases sanctifiés, les prêtres, les chantres, les portiers et les ministres, et nous n’abandonnerons pas la maison de notre Dieu.
