Micah 1
1 The word of the Lord, which was maad to `Mychee of Morasti, in the daies of Joathan, Achas, Ezechie, kyngis of Juda; which word he sai on Samarie, and Jerusalem.
La parole de l'Éternel, qui fut adressée à Michée, de Morésheth, aux jours de Jotham, d'Achaz, d'Ézéchias, rois de Juda, et qui lui fut révélée touchant Samarie et Jérusalem.
2 Here ye, alle puplis, and the erthe perseyue, and plentee therof, and be the Lord God to you in to a witnesse, the Lord fro his hooli temple.
Écoutez, vous tous, peuples! Sois attentive, ô terre, avec tout ce qui est en toi! Que le Seigneur, l'Éternel, soit témoin contre vous, le Seigneur, du palais de sa sainteté!
3 For lo! the Lord schal go out of his place, and schal come doun, and schal trede on hiy thingis of erthe.
Car voici, l'Éternel sort de sa demeure; il descend, et marche sur les lieux élevés de la terre.
4 And mounteyns schulen be waastid vndur hym, and valeis schulen be kit, as wex fro the face of fier, as watirs that rennen in to a pit.
Les montagnes se fondent sous lui, les vallées s'entrouvrent, comme la cire devant le feu, comme des eaux qui coulent sur une pente.
5 In the grete trespas of Jacob is al this thing, and in the synnes of the hous of Israel. Which is the greet trespas of Jacob? whether not Samarie? and whiche ben the hiy thingis of Juda? whether not Jerusalem?
Tout cela arrivera à cause du crime de Jacob, à cause des péchés de la maison d'Israël. - Quel est le crime de Jacob? N'est-ce pas Samarie? Quels sont les hauts lieux de Juda? N'est-ce pas Jérusalem?
6 And Y schal put Samarie as an heep of stoonys in the feeld, whanne a vynyerd is plauntid; and Y schal drawe awei the stoonys therof in to a valei, and Y schal schewe the foundementis therof.
Je ferai de Samarie un monceau de pierres dans les champs, un lieu où l'on plante la vigne. Je ferai rouler ses pierres dans la vallée, et je mettrai à nu ses fondements.
7 And alle `grauun ymagis therof schulen be betun togidere, and alle hiris therof schulen be brent in fier; and Y schal putte alle idols therof in to perdicioun; for of hiris of an hoore tho ben gaderid, and `til to hire of an hoore tho schulen turne ayen.
Toutes ses images taillées seront brisées, et tous les salaires de sa prostitution seront brûlés au feu, et je mettrai en désolation toutes ses idoles; car elle les a rassemblées avec le salaire de la prostitution: elles retourneront aussi au salaire de prostitution.
8 On this thing Y schal weile and yelle, Y schal go spuylid and nakid; Y schal make weilyng of dragouns, and mournyng as of ostrigis.
C'est pourquoi je mènerai deuil, et je me lamenterai; j'irai dépouillé et nu; je ferai une lamentation comme les chacals, et un cri de deuil comme les autruches.
9 For wounde therof is dispeirid; for it cam til to Juda, it touchide the yate of my puple, til to Jerusalem.
Car sa plaie est incurable; elle s'étend jusqu'à Juda, elle atteint jusqu'à la porte de mon peuple, jusqu'à Jérusalem.
10 In Geth nyle ye telle, bi teeris wepe ye not; in the hous of dust with dust togidere sprynge you.
Ne l'annoncez point dans Gath! Ne pleurez point! A Beth-Léaphra je me roule dans la poussière.

Attelle les coursiers au char, habitante de Lakis! Tu as été le commencement du péché pour la fille de Sion; car en toi ont été trouvés les crimes d'Israël.
14 Therfor he schal yyue werriours on the eritage of Geth, on housis of leesyng in to deseit to kyngis of Israel.
C'est pourquoi tu dois renoncer à Morésheth-Gath; les maisons d'Aczib seront une déception pour les rois d'Israël.
15 Yit Y schal brynge an eir to thee, that dwellist in Maresa; the glorie of Israel schal come til to Odolla.
Je t'amènerai un autre possesseur de tes biens, habitante de Marésha! La gloire d'Israël s'en ira jusqu'à Adullam.
16 Be thou maad ballid, and be thou clippid on the sones of thi delices; alarge thi ballidnesse as an egle, for thei ben lad caitif fro thee.
Rends-toi chauve et rase-toi, à cause de tes enfants chéris; rends-toi chauve comme le vautour, car ils s'en vont en captivité loin de toi!
